Are an artist and their creation distinct entities, or is one a reflection of the other and is the creator more significant for you or the impact of his creation on yourself?
It depends on the artist. For me, a real artist always pours their raw, genuine emotions into their work, allowing their inner self to reflect in their art. But these days, when fame is the game and primary chase, many artists tailor their work to wat the audience wants.
But remember
An artist's job is to elevate people, not to mould themselves in the shape of the tastes and understanding of the masses.
That is the job of an entertainer.
