Numerologists claim that the wors age is 20, 29, 38, 47, 56, 65, 74, 83, 92.... Can you confirm it by some experience in your family or your own life? 🤔

I can confirm that each of the ages offered can equal two and that arithmancy comes from "arithmós" which means "number" and "manteíā" which means "divination." I can also confirm that Greek music is criminally underrated, statistics are statistically flawed and New Age hippie nonsense is as interesting to me as an open-casket funeral with a missing corpse. Have you ever felt shortchanged? Yeah, exactly.

What interesting things have you learned from the ancient Egypt course?

These are the main ones that I can remember off the top of my head :)
~ There are around 175 kings known today, with The Great Pyramid of Giza being attributed to Khufu. The rough time span of these kings are 3400 years, with it being split into three parts; The Old Kingdom, The Middle Kingdom and the New Kingdom. (I’d have to check my notes for the exact dates for these).
~ In between the time periods of these kingdoms, existed a Predynastic and Protodynastic period. This is essentially when times were rather volatile and were the intermediate periods before everything stabilised and kicked off again, so to speak.
~ The Egyptians kept records of their history and often amended it/updating rulers of the past. The most well known documents are the Palermo Stone and the Abydos King List. It was later recorded in Greek, when that become the dominant written and spoken language, but this is relatively recent in terms of their own history.
~ One of my favourite facts of their chronology: an Egyptian priest (his name escapes me atm) in the early 300BCs included time periods where there were existing rulers before the Pharaohs, consisting of The Gods, Demigods and the Spirits of the Dead. After their time of ruling, then humans followed (though I guess Pharaohs were seen more as a stepping stone between a regular mortal and a demigod, in a way).
I could keep going, but I’d have to reread my notebook for the more in-depth facts on their chronology within each of the Kingdoms, the rulers, etc.
Tbf, my favourite part was going over their mythology which I knew some of, and how that related back into and influenced society at that time! (Through their art, talisman and amulets, beliefs, burial practices, etc) :)

Wasn't that the medallion from the front of the book the never ending story ?

Yes.
Auryn is a powerful medallion belonging to the Childlike Empress, which protects its wearer from all harm. Whoever wears AURYN becomes the representative of the Childlike Empress. Auryn appears on the cover of the in-universe book Neverending Story.
The symbol of two intertwined snakes appeared early in Babylonia and is related to other serpent symbols of fertility, wisdom, and healing, and of sun gods. This staff of Hermes was carried by Greek heralds and ambassadors and became a Roman symbol for truce, neutrality, and noncombatant status.
What do the snakes symbolize?
Historically, serpents and snakes represent fertility or a creative life force. As snakes shed their skin through sloughing, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing. The ouroboros is a symbol of eternity and continual renewal of life.

Hello dear 👋wanna ask you that is there any relation of thinning and greying of hair with the location changes??

anaaali46’s Profile Photo@nu
There’s a range of pollutants that can contribute to hair loss, including air and waterborne toxins. If you live in a highly polluted environment, you may develop sensitive scalp syndrome, whose symptoms include an oily scalp, itching, pain in the hair roots, and dandruff....You can reduce exposure by covering your hair while in such environments. Another solution is washing the hair to remove any toxins.
Luckily these environmental factors rarely cause permanent hair loss. You’ll notice positive results a few months after implementing some changes.
They include quitting smoking, adopting a healthy diet(Protein is an essential nutrient for hair growth,,,, Sugar-rich junk food, as well as a strictly vegan diet, might deny your follicles the nourishment they need.
There are several healthy diet options you can adopt for thicker, darker, and healthier hair. They include water, salmon, vegetables, freshly squeezed juice, peanut butter, and Greek yogurt. They ensure your body receives crucial nutrients such as Vitamins, Omega-3, iron, proteins, and calcium. The trick is to eat a varied, healthy, and balanced diet) and taking better care of your hair.
Regular workouts will also help you manage stressful situations.

God or 👿 devil who wins

rjpusee9455’s Profile Photorjpusee
A "devil" didn't exist in Abrahamic religion until the middle ages. It's little more than fanfiction inspired by popular fiction authors Like Dante Alighieri, John Milton, and some letters by monks which circulated around 900 years after the Bible was written. In Jewish myth there is no antagonist. The Satan is an appointed angel sent by Yahweh to test the faith of believers. Not evil. Just an angel doing his job
The new testament btw has no first person accounts. The books of the new testament were written between 75 to 400 AD. None of the original apostles except maybe Paul, a Roman citizen, could read or write. As 99% of the world's population was illiterate. Though numbers were higher in Rome. Though modern day Palestine and Israel were not direct Roman territory they were protectorates that Rome propped up for it's middle Eastern conquests.
If you get a New Interlinear Bible you can easily see the Hebrew to English for old testament, the Greek to English for New testament. You can see in context translations by native speakers from the original text. Something not done well in previous versions as the Greek and Latin Scholars who translated the mess of letters that would become Abrahamic doctrine probably never met a native speaker. They'd be a state scholars who learned from other state scholars
Ps if you made it this far God isn't real either

What’s your thoughts on the Greek myth about soulmates?

In my view, it's a thought-provoking myth and the belief that God (or "Zeus") created androgynous *souls* was shared by some Theosophists. Modern interpretations of this notion seem to be primarily focused on one aspect but other facets (reincarnation, karma, etc.) must be considered. We could also evaluate the disagreement between Zeus and Apollo and what it tells us about the nature of "gods" with respect to humans, our attributes, limitations and dilemmas. As is the case with all myths, there is more beneath the surface but it's often ignored or dismissed entirely because few are willing (or able?) to consider anything which may challenge their current inclinations. Prometheus may have stolen the fire it doesn't burn in everyone and the reaction of Zeus was less than favorable on that occasion too... ;-)

History is Inaccurate is the word you're looking for and not "Like Chismis."
History has been studied and pieced together by historians from first-hand accounts, writings, artifacts and by word of mouth from people who've experienced such history. The reality is; It is inaccurate and is prone to biases/prespective of the writer and infact you can find biases everywhere! even you are biased! And it isn't a neccessarily a bad thing and that is why we cross-reference from multiple sources.
The bad thing is denying, covering, Rewriting/Spreading false information because of the bias which is currently happening enmasse in our Country.
Likening Chismis to History is equal to discrediting the years of work/studies of our historians and from people who've experienced it first hand.

Hmmm... I understand why you're doubting the written history; however, you need to understand na being a historian back then and even now requires so much effort to acquire precise information about the events that had happened. It's all in the records (newspapers, books, articles, video tapes, journals, etc.). It's nearly impossible naman na hindi makalap ang other side of the coin when there are records to show, 'di ba? Kaya nga may debate pa rin ngayon about sa Marcos Sr. regime if maunlad ba talaga or madugo dahil sa "chismis" na 'yan. You'll know the answer once you start looking for the authentic ones (data). Also, while I'm answering your shout out, may hate ka nang natatanggap (based on new shout outs dito sa akin), which I think is kind of... wrong. Hindi kita kinakampihan pero hindi rin maganda na gano'n ang mga shout outs sa 'yo. I admire your bravery kasi hindi naka activate ang anon dito sa shout out mo, ang tapang ah. Hahaha. Pero, ayon nga, try to think about what we've said (iyong iba na nag disagree din dito sa opinion mo). Opinions are meant to be discussed naman. Hehehe.

So, who are you siding up with? Historians or Ella Cruz? Hindi porket hindi mo naabutan, magda-doubt ka na. There are tons of records supported by data that have proven the important events that happened in our country. I don't like that kind of thinking. It seems to me that all those sacrifices our Filipino heroes have made for our country's independence turned out for nothing because of disinformation online. May internet access ka naman yata. Out of the 7 deadly sins, which one do you relate to most?

NastyJelly’s Profile PhotoAntiqueWhale
Lol the seven deadly sins are a fascinating bit of history. Not I nthe Bible btw. In about the 14 or 15 century a monk kind of lost his mind, left his church, declared himself a prophet, and went off to live in the wilderness. He sent out letter after letter to a bunch of churches with his insights as an "angel" detailed to him the rank and file of Hell itself. No doubt getting his inspiration from his interpretation of Greek Gods and some jewish mysticism. I joke about protestants basically believing fanfiction all the time but the seven sins are literal Catholic fan fiction

Do you believe in life after death?

modelzmodelz9053’s Profile PhotoLove
In a sense, this is an important issue with paganism. At present I do not think about it intensely, but it can be said that I believe in a kind of "penultimate journey". As a follower of Asatrú and Slavic native religion, I should make the Valkyries take me to Valhalla or go to Navia, which is led by the Slavic god Weles, the equivalent of the Greek Hades. Although I am a pagan, I believe that after death there is an evidential state of sleep and we undergo transformation and only after some time we find ourselves in a kind of parallel world but very similar to what we live in now, but it is possible that we will live there by the eyelids of the ages.

It’s not wrong. No need to get rid of it. In Ancient Greece and some Native American cultures queer people were seen as blessed by the gods or the creator, sometimes as Devine beings. There was even an Ancient Greek temple to the gods Cybele and Attis full of trans priests.

Can you name three composers you find worth recommending and listening?

So...when I listening to music I must have strong theme affililations. I must feel the way, and the atmosphere.
That's why most of artist and composers that I know and like are actually composers of film music.
You asked for composers, sooo...
I can really recommend you those three taht I think It's good to know and listen some of their tracks.
For the first great Greek composer MIKIS THEODORAKIS.
Do you know the Zorba? This guy composed Zorba music.
But I think the pearl, hidden treasure is LITANY I (LITANY II is also good, but first is a masterpiece).
Litany was composed in cooperation with Vasilis Saleas, and this co-op is awesome!

If you were able to choose your own name, without it legally being a long process to change, what would you name yourself? 😊 or are you content with the name that was given to you? 😄

LunarHuntress’s Profile PhotoYentl
I quite like my name! I'm fond of the way it sounds and it just feels natural to me. I couldn't imagine another specific name for myself. Only thing about my name that I don't really connect with is it's true meaning and origin, it being a Greek name etc.
It doesn't bother me so much so I'd want it changed but if it did I'd probably change it to a more Scandinavian name, maybe Tor? Like how Thor is said in Swedish ⚡️ I quite like names which start with a T but I guess I'm a bit biased when it comes to that 😂

What is your favourite occasion out of Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter and your birthday?

Although my favourite holiday as a child used to be Christmas because of the presents and the happy atmosphere . The last few years as I grow up I realized that the Easter is a little better. I think is more emotional and religious. Last year was the first time I tried to fast , I didn't eat meat for forty ( other people don't eat many other things) and made me realize that people do not truly need the meat in their daily life so much as other food. It is not so difficult to become a vegetarian lol , ok I'm not , but I was for forty days and I was completely fine it means something 😁. However we do have many interesting Greek Easter Traditions. For example , eggs are being boiled and dyed red , baking tsoureki , Church Bells, Tomb of Jesus, Midnight Church Service and Candles, Red Egg Cracking , Eating Magiritsa ( I don't really like it but many people here love it ) and the last one Roasting the lamp . And who forgets the Easter chocolate eggs or bunnies which are not greek tradition but people here especially kids love it because they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G .

*******
Multigrain bread, lightly toasted on one side ; thickly spread Normandy butter & olive spread . . . . richly covered with finely chopped fresh baby chillies & fresh garlic , then thickly top a thick paste of oat bran&germ and extra virgin olive oil , completely covering & protecting the chilly & garlic , , , ,
stick it under a very got grill ~ check that the oats only lightly golden-brown ; turn off grill & allow to finish for a minute .
Gulp down an enormous glass of cognac, then start munching on the above , along with a big bowl of fresh Greek KALAMATI olives , flicking out the stones before en-bouche-ing !!!!
