Musik bringt mich in die Vergangenheit. Ich verspüre gerade bei so Liedern wie
Eminem - Love the way you lie ft. Rihanna
Owl City - Fireflies
Avril Lavigne - Complicated
pure Nostalgie. Diese Lieder versetzen mich direkt in meine Kindheit zurück und lassen mich all diese Momente nochmal erleben. Aber jeder kennt das bestimmt, wenn ein Lied dich direkt auf allen Ebenen trifft und du einfach dieses Lied so sehr fühlst. Und das schafft nur Musik. Musik kann unseren Gemütszustand bestärken oder verändern. Zu dem verbindet Musik uns mit anderen Menschen. Ich glaube das Musik uns Menschen näher bringt und einfach komplett Barrierefrei ist. Ohne Musik könnte ich mir mein Leben nicht mehr vorstellen.
Wenn ich z.B den Kopf einfach frei bekommen will, höre ich sehr viel Techno. Befreit mich einfach. Auch wenn ich auch so schon extrem viel Techno höre. Egal in welcher Verfassung ich bin, Musik kann mich jederzeit beflügeln und Emotionen hervorrufen, die man sonst nicht erlebt. Musik ist einfach toll.

There is something incredibly satisfying about being alone on my computer at 2am. My phone doesn't ring, I don't get any emails. It's dark and quiet. I have near complete control over what I see and hear.
Granted, I have a job, wife, and kids - But this has always worked for me. Anything that happens between the hours of 9pm and 6:30am is on me, per agreement with my wife. So if the kids are having nightmares, or wet the bed, or there's housework to do, etc. I do it during those times. It's a pretty great balance!
I have always had a goal to be an early bird, but because I had always gotten too much sleep, I couldn't fall asleep and was forced into night owlery. Now I work at a bakery as my college job (just put in my two weeks: awful job) so I have gotten into an 0500 wake up time, and it is great.
I started out as a night owl, but then I spent the first half of my 20s in the Army, and now I can't stand sleeping in. Now, I work the late shift (1PM-10PM), and I absolutely love it. I haven't had to deal with traffic going to or from work since I started a little over a year ago, half of my shift takes place after almost everyone else in the office has gone home, so I get left the fuck alone. I usually stay up until around midnight a the latest, my alarm goes off at 7AM, and I actually drag myself out of bed by 8AM most mornings. Just being able to to ease into morning like that makes it so much easier to start the day.
It really depends on what's going on in my life. Back when I worked at a bowling alley Id be up till 1ish, but would go to sleep fast cause I had work in the morning too so it forced me to be an early bird, now since I have another job whose schedule is spread out and afternoon classes, I stay up longer
I love to stay up late, but mornings are just so nice because I'm free to do whatever I want without any interactions or interference from other people. I go to sleep at 10 every weeknight, just so I can wake up on time at 5, before I have to leave for school at 7:15. Definitely a night owl. I am vastly more productive if I can sleep in til 10 and work until late. Some of my best work has been done during the midnight-2am second wind. Having to be in the office by 8 or 9 generally pisses me off.
My brain has really fucked me over this week. Not only exhausting dreams but waking me up in the middle of the night to stare at the ceiling and think shitty thoughts. I know if I wasn't so tired I would be able to control it but I'm not getting any sleep because I can't control it.

Ich mag das ganze Album und habe gerade darüber nachgedacht, dass der Albumtitel auch ein word play sein könnte darauf, dass wir all diese Vögelgesänge, die er in den Liedern eingebaut hat, vielleicht bald nur noch aufgenommen hören können (wobei ja streng genommen nicht alle aufgenommenen Vögel auf der Liste der vom Aussterben bedrohten Tierarten stehen but they could be next, wenn wir ehrlich sind).

Owl Song ist auf jeden Fall mein Lieblingslied von dem Album. Die anderen mag ich auch, nur das hat so eine... Sogwirkung, die ich schwer beschreiben kann. Habe die Frage auch nur genutzt, um das Lied mal wieder aktiv zu hören - weiß gar nicht, wie ich diese Frage adäquat beantworten kann, weil ich entweder schreiben müsste während des Liedes und das taugt mir gar nicht >:( oder versuchen müsste, die Gedanken und Eindrücke, die ich währenddessen hatte, im Nachhinein wieder einzufangen und auch das ist... so artifiziell irgendwie, und greift ja doch nicht die Gefühle, die ich für dieses Lied habe.

Ich hab währenddessen im Bett gelegen, meine Füße im Takt bewegt, mitgesungen und zwischendurch Waldbilder im Kopf gehabt und die Geräuschkulisse eines Waldes. Bilder von Licht, das durch die Baumkronen fällt und seine Schattennetze über das Moos wirft.

3:30am usually. Wake up naturally around 1:00-2:00pm. I don't work or have anywhere specific I ever need to be so I just go with my body's natural night owl flow. Also have a chronic illness so need that good 10 hours of sleep usually.
Depends on when I have to get up the next day for work. My shifts are all over the place so I either go to sleep at like 9 at night to 3 in the morning. Again depends on how tired I am feeling and when I have to get up.
During the week, I usually at least get in bed by 9:30. I read for a bit until I can’t keep my eyes open. Then I’ll turn on a sleep meditation. Most nights, I fall asleep before it’s over. My alarm goes off at 6:15 for work.
Going to bed depends in what shift i am. Around 6-8 h, again depends on a shift. Pretty much like a zombie running on autopilot for the first few hours after waking up. Even on weekends or during vacations i sleep around 8h and am a total zombie for few hours.
Go to bed at 8 or 9 pm. Wake up at 4 am. I feel like a zombie but I have sleep anxiety so I wake up a lot. Bed between 7-9p up about 4-430/5a. Feel pretty good. Until narcolepsy hits and I pass out.
I feel pressured to go to bed knowing I have to be up early in the morning. I can be watching something good on Netflix but am clock watching! I will then go to bed and spend a couple of hours on my phone perusing Reddit, but that’s okay because I’m in bed!
I aim to be in bed and off my phone by 11 but it doesn't always work out. More importantly I think is a set wake up time. I wake up at 7am every day (including the weekend!) because of the dog and that's helped my sleep more than anything. I get tired around the same time everyday, and I'm less groggy in the mornings on weekdays because I've not disrupted my routine at the weekends. I also don't drink caffeine after lunch anymore, I used to drink tea pretty much on the hour every hour all work day, until I realised I just wasn't getting tired at night. Caffeine has a half life of about five hours, so if you have a cup of coffee at 5pm, half of that caffeine is still swirling round you at 10pm.
However, as I just don't seem to have any spare time for hobbies, I'm thinking of pushing bedtime back to midnight. All my mates manage to get online gaming done at night, and are up around the same time as me so If i'm not going to get much decent sleep anyway, might as well use the time constructively (playing Cyberpunk2077 or painting little plastic goblins).
Weekdays, into bed around 10:15, asleep usually at 11 after a spot of reading. Awake again 6:30-6:45 to go for my morning walk. Rarely need the alarm. Weekends maybe half hour later to sleep & to wake. I feel wretched if I don’t follow this pattern.
Between 8pm and 9pm usually. If I'm really tired it can be as early as 7pm. Once every two weeks I stay up until 9:30pm for writing group. I have no particular need to be up early, but find it difficult to stay awake once the sun goes down.

My favorite fictional world is the Hogwarts.
What makes it so great for me is, the Witchcraft and Wizardry, magical students and a magical world, totally.
It was a state-owned school, funded by the Ministry of Magic.
A classic fantasy world indeed.
It is over a thousand years old and was founded by Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin, after whom the school's four houses are named.
The whole story gives goosebumps for me and when it ends I was so sad.
The 3 friends: Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, Hermione Granger; always there for each other.
Owls are perhaps the most visible motif of the Wizarding world. They act as the principal form of communication among wizards (somewhat like carrier pigeons) and also as pets. Harry Potter has a pet owl named Hedwig.
The Hogwarts Express: It departs from Platform 9¾ at King's Cross Station, London.
Hogwarts is divided into four separate houses, and they are Gryffindor (which favours courage), Ravenclaw, (which favours intellect), Hufflepuff, (which favours hard work and fair play) and Slytherin (which favours ambition). Upon arrival, Harry, along with his friends (Ron and later Hermione), are sorted into Gryffindor.
Quidditch: a spectator sport in the Wizard world, played up in the air on brooms.
Half-blood, pure blood, muggles.
Albus Dumbledore ❤️ Harry's most trusted advisor and Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and my favourite too. He is also said to be the only known person whom Lord Voldemort ever feared, and also one of the few who does not fear Voldemort and openly speaks his name, often calling him by his Christian name of Tom Riddle.
Severus Snape: A gifted wizard, Hogwarts staff member. After all this time, Always!!! 🥺
Hagrid: Son of a wizard and a giantess, he is both surprisingly gentle and nurturing. My most favourite 🌹
Sirius Black, Harry's godfather his death was painful 🥺
Draco Malfoy: A pure-blood supremacist and I hate him.
