Why do brands customize their products?

panchalkanika873966’s Profile Photokanika panchal
Customization is a great business strategy because it makes customers happier; and happy customers are repeat customers! Similarly a study on customization found, customization increases perceived service quality, customer satisfaction, customer trust, and ultimately customer loyalty toward a service provider.
Businesses thrive on providing customers what they want. And personalization achieves this by asking the customers what they want. In just a few clicks, personalization lets the customer choose their preference of color, size, or design, letting them add a personal touch to the product they want.

well, I already have my own business. but if I could start a different one, it would probably be art workbooks for children. 🎨📓✍🏻

given my background as an art teacher, and my love for educating young ones, I think coming up with, and illustrating/writing an art workbook for children is extremely suitable for me!

Did you guys know someone who doesn't like fries?

I used to hate fries, then I started putting a little extra salt on them. Turns out they were always just not salted enough for my tastes. These days my favorite fries are well seasoned. Smashburger has these Smashfries that are awesome.
My cousin (or step cousin, I guess) refuses to eat French fries. I was out with a bunch of family on my step moms side, and when she was laughing at a joke, her sister tossed one right in her mouth. She had the biggest look of betrayal I've seen in my life.
Although it is indeed hard to find someone that is not into fries, the closest I've gotten is my friend not liking McDonalds fries. Personally I don't like them as much but I'll still have them if I'm having a meal there. However, my friend would not even touch McD's fries even if her life depended on it.
My hubby. He wont eat anything with potatoes because as a kid all they had to eat was potatoes. His mom would hand him one and say here this is all we have for the day, or she'd bake them/mash them with the same story.
I'm not a big fan. I'll eat them and even enjoy them on occasion but I'll never go out my way to get them, that's for sure.
Curly fries are so good but we only recently got them back at exactly one supermarket this year. I envy countries where they're an all-year option.
I like curly fries more, but will eat normal fries more often. Curly, when I want to really enjoy them. Normal, when I want to focus on my entree and have a palate-cleansing food.
Nobody makes them like I do. French fries, chips, freedom fries, or whatever you want to call them are a horrible food. They're by far the most popular item at most fast food restaurants. I feel like their popularity is the greatest culinary scam of the past hundred years and that the only reason people like them is because they haven't given what a French fry is much thought. First let's take a look at the cooking process. Deep frying a potato turns its inside to mush and essentially destroys its flavor, which wasn't really much to start with. People compensate for this by murdering them with salt, so instead of tasting potato, you're tasting a teaspoon of salt with every bite. Since eating pure salt is kind of nasty, most people will dip the fries in something like ketchup, barbecue sauce, or ranch dressing in order to tone down the salt a bit. Dipping a celery or carrot stick in ranch dressing would yield a better tasting product than dipping a French fry in ranch, and would be ten times healthier. It mystifies me that people will pay several dollars for a single order of fries. I think it really depends on where you get them. Places like BK, Dairy Queen, Hardees have fucking terrible fries. It is very difficult to get good tasty fries. Also why is this the only damn option for a side at most places? Why not baked beans, cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, etc;.?

something very ecological, vegan and forward thinking
a business that barely creates any waste and inspires people to do better
maybe it could sell the best vegan products or the right tools and services for people to start their own little farm on their roofs/balkony/ in their little garden/… or even create some farmland within cities for the whole community and turn the cities green
something like that

I would sell a variety of products. I would sell weed products (like edibles, vapes, bongs, etc). Need that as part of the business. I would also sell some goodies - like chips, chocolate, brownies, etc. I would include some bread in there also. It would be like a business of a little bit of everything. It wouldn't really be a sustainable model, but screw it, I'd go for it anyway.

When my grandparents were young they ran a little resort. There were only about a half dozen cabins, a boat house/ dock where they rented out boats and motors. That's about all there was to the place. And the same families came to stay every summer. I'd like to run a place like that.

I'd love to have a gaming cafe, with a craft room for model makers and cosplayers etc. People can get a quick game with their cake and coffee (like exploding kittens or zombie dice), or they book a table for a few hours for longer games (like D&D, Warhammer, monopoly etc). Best part? Cake!

What is your biggest fear in life’s struggle?

AhmadBakheitMndo’s Profile Photo∆HMED
I'm struggling to choose just one.
My life is shrouded with fear, almost everything I do or don't do is a product of fear.
I'm afraid of failure even though it's inevitable, afraid of loss whilst knowing that I can never escape it, afraid of pain despite the fact that I experience it every single day.
Uncertainty frightens me, the unknown whatever it may be terrifies me, people beguile and scare me.
I'm afraid of true loneliness as well as true companionship.
I'm afraid of the consequences of success just as much as the pain of failure.
I'm afraid of my own fragility and I get appalled by my own strength sometimes.
Deep in my core, I'm a very scared person hiding behind layers of thick walls, shields and tactics.
And that's what I fear the most.
Above all, I am afraid of my neverending fear and how crippling it can be.

The belief of Shang dynasty began as Ra (The Creator God of Ancient Egypt), and became Amun at the end, right? The ancient Egyptians were Chinese. Are the Sanxingdui people Chinese too? Many people say that Sanxingdui is the product of alien civilization, and Sanxingdui people are aliens.

All the achievements of ancient civilization were created by humans alone. Sanxingdui people are of course Chinese. They lived in Sichuan. Sichuanese generally have the appearance characteristics of Sanxingdui people. There is no need to attribute them to aliens. Moderns have limited knowledge of history. You can't dwarf the achievements of the ancients as a shame cloth for your ignorance. The technology and astronomical knowledge of Sanxingdui people are far beyond your imagination. Sanxingdui also has an image of a clown loved by the people of the 18th dynasty of Egypt. It is closely related to ancient Egypt. In addition, Chengdu Jinsha has only excavated a small part.
Shang dynasty worshiped the sun "God" (Ra). Amun was worshipped in the new kingdom. It was the culture of Zhou people, that is, the culture of Confucianism.

Jak myślisz jesteśmy w stanie odczytać informacje, które przesyłane są nam podprogowo? A może Tobie udało się kiedyś rozszyfrować taką wiadomość?

NieTaka’s Profile PhotoשAlways Positive
How do you think we are able to read the information that is sent to us subliminal? Or maybe you have ever managed to decode such a message?
An observant person can perceive subliminal messages. They can be seen in marketing gimmicks in stores, as well as in television and radio broadcasts. If someone, after listening to an advertisement on the radio or watching an advertisement on TV, as soon as he appears in the store, asks about the advertised product, even though he did not need the product, it means that there was a hidden subliminal message in the advertisement, which forced him to buy

What do you think is the difference between a cooperator and a collaborator?

KubaGR571’s Profile Photo¥ Kuba GR =)=
I have to be honest, I had to search it up because I had no idea. 😅
The difference is that collaboration is working together for a shared success and cooperation is working together but not for a shared success. Collaboration is different people working together on one outcome or product. Cooperation is working together, but for somebody else’s success.

Well we design products to ease the use of our users( customers, clients). It involves multiple processes to design a final product for examplr research, surveys, observation, ideation(sketching), 3d modeling, animation etc.
Basically everything you used in your home is designed by the process followed in industrial designing so that you can perform the necessary action with it.

What is the difference between Education and Experience ??

Education, in general, is a bigger concept compared to experience. The source of knowledge for education is in printed materials, whereas, with experience, the knowledge is gained either through involvement or exposure.
Obtaining a higher education only proves you can succeed in academia, not in a real-world job situation. Work experience can make you a good match for a particular job today, but without higher education you may lack the skills that are important for advancement tomorrow.
Though all experience result in learning still learning is a product of experience. Development is the result of learning. The whole process of growth and development which is caused by learning from experience is called Education.

If you could change something in today's society, what would it be?

H2o_o2H’s Profile Photoꪖ᥅ᥴꫝ꠸ꫀ
The lack of common sense.
I wish people were kinder. Everybody is sarcastic and mean.
Cooperation. Just look at how, we, as societies, evolves in 50 years. Now, imagine if all of us would actually cooperate. There's no telling what we could accomplish. But that's impossible and that's sad. At least in the US, our obsession with work. We do not need to be working as much as we are. We do not need to measure the worth of ourselves and others by how much we work ourselves to death.
The social acceptibility of white lies. There are delicate ways to tell the truth ('that haircut doesn't flatter you') without lying. Truth is good, I'd like to see more of it.
The education system is seriously flawed at least in the United States. Like you said, trade schools are a great way for people with lower grades to get really good at something and be successful with it. For example, in Germany, a large percentage of students become apprentices in a certain trade rather than going to university. Socialization. Of all the basics, not just libraries and roads. Food, water, education, healthcare. Leave luxury products on an open but regulated market with demand for higher standards, repairability and zero waste as a goal.
I know people will hate me for saying this, but if everyone went vegan, it would reduce a lot of air/water pollution, cut methane emissions that are contributing to global warming, and allow us to make MUCH better use of arable farming land & fresh water. Meat production is pretty wasteful and polluting per calorie of food it provides.
Slowing people down - even slightly - might create an environment where the BUYBUYBUY marketing technique isn't nearly as effective. This would lead to (hopefully) a balanced and useful approach to advertising focused on the merits of a particular product or service. Following that, if consumers are looking more into the actual benefits of any given thing the demand for quality will likely rise, over-consumption will drop and with it the culture of excess and waste, and the world will be a better place.
My mom was a teen mom, my grandparents who raised me were subsistence farmers, and we were POOR. Our clothes were hand-me-downs or handmade, most of what we owned was ancient and we recycled things over and over again. My favorite toys were blocks of leftover wood that my Grandpa had sanded and painted bright colors. But we were clean. We didn't litter, because it costs nothing to throw your litter in the trash can instead of on the pavement ten feet away. It costs nothing to refrain from tagging all over the businesses in your neighborhood (in fact, it drives business away, making your neighborhood more crime-ridden and poverty-stricken than ever.) It costs nothing to refrain from breaking windows. We certainly never went around doing that. It’s obsession with finding someone else to blame. Fewer people decide to be an example of something good.

Is there a field / subject you're especially knowledgable in? You mind saying something you know relating to that which you think most other people don't know? 🧠🤯

TobbeAsks’s Profile Photoᛏᛟᛒᛒᚨ
Either pro wrestling or geography. I had a phase as a teenager where I was obsessed with pro wrestling. I would go as far as watching WWE and TNA on a regular basis. Then that slowly died out as I felt more alienated from the product. It felt like the wrestlers who I, and most others thought were entertaining - weren't getting as much air time. The predictability of some matches wasn't a problem. It was moreso how the wrestlers were being treated that got to me.
I've also been interested in geography since I was young. I can't say I'm an expert in the field but I can name most, if not all of the countries in the world if I were presented with a quiz. I like testing out my knowledge by playing quizzes on Sporcle. Sometimes the answers come to me easy and I beat out the average score. Other times I get close to the average, or finish well below the average. I find the lower scores happen with things like naming lakes/rivers, naming the capitals of Oceania countries (and African countries to an extent), etc.

Do you think morality exists in nature or is it a human construct?

RayVen94’s Profile PhotoRay
What is morality? Is morality an objective truth? Is morality an illusion or a dream? Is morality the product of historical understanding? Is morality a majority opinion?
I do not believe that morality exists in nature, nor do I believe that morality is a "social construct." Instead, I believe morality to be a set of principles derived from a universal code of conduct based upon objective truths such as the universal and eternal truth that Every Life Matters and ALL life has the right to exist. I would also argue that animal behavior is predominantly determined by instinct rather than reason and that human behavior is determined by a combination of instinct, experience and reason.
To those who would claim that morality is a social construct and that objective truths do not exist, I would argue that objective reality, otherwise known as truth, matters.
Here are three truths:
1. All life was created.
2. All life will experience death.
3. All life is valuable and has a purpose.

Do you have any advise for other people to feel more comfortable in their own skin?

LunarHuntress’s Profile PhotoYentl
I would tell them that it's okay that they have the body that they have right now. If it's not the ideal body, that's okay. The reality is some of us had to go through lots of ups and downs to get to the body that we have today. Some people will never see the work that we did in private to get to where we are. All they see is the current product. For some of them they may be judgmental because they see our bodies having stretch marks, scars, etc., but I would just ignore those people.
The “perfect bodies” that some people so desperately want and aim to achieve for - are almost always photoshopped, or manipulated in some way. I think if you're looking to go down this route, you're going to be severely disappointed. I would say - forget that. Understand that your body is great just the way it is, and that the body is never permanent. It can change. If someone or some people want to try and steal your thunder, and bring you down, remember that this is your body. Not theirs. They don't know the struggles, but you do, and that's all that matters. If you can feel better in your own skin despite other people saying otherwise, then you're okay.

What chore do you hate doing?

leahtvergara’s Profile Photo✿ ℓεαɦ ѵ. ♔
Ironing. Getting a very hot plate and passing it over my clothes already assumes a level of competence at handing a very hot item that I simply can't attain, but the end product being less messing looking clothing absolutely isn't worth the risk. I'll go with looking like a scruffy tramp, thanks.
Doing laundry. It's a communal laundry area so it's always dirty, and every now and then there's random possibly dirty underwear lying around. I don't want to touch that crap!
I absolutely HATE cleaning my bathroom. I'm the eldest and I have a younger brother and sister, and yet I'm the one who is supposed to clean it every single time. It makes me soooo mad, especially since my brother is gross and needs to learn how to scrub the toilet himself.
I really, really hate making salad. It was the simplest thing when I was growing up, but if my mother asked me to make the salad, I'd forego that in favor of doing all the other tasks such as peeling and mincing garlic, washing rice, cleaning raw chicken, peeling potatoes, sobbing over onions, scrubbing vegetables, peeling and deveining shrimp, prepping string beans, washing dishes, scrubbing pots, ANYTHING but making salad, the most simple preparation of a dinner course. Fuck iceberg lettuce, fuck cucumbers, tomatoes are cool though.
First of all you have to try to put them all in the damn bag, but the bag won't stay open. I purchased something from Home Depot which would try to keep it open but it does an okay job of it. The top of the bag keeps collapsing downward which means it's difficult to rake leaves in. This plus the bitter cold temperatures and it's just a huge chore. It's necessary though because if I didn't do it, I'd have to pay 200 dollars for other people to do it. And when they gave me that quote I nearly passed out from shock. I was like, I could do that myself, even if I hate going outside in sub zero temperatures with a goofy little winter hat and hoodie on, and sweep these leaves away.
I will wash all of the dishes. Even my roommates rotten moldy tupperware that have been sitting in the sink for weeks. But please don't ask me to spend five minutes putting clean dry dishes back into the cupboards.
Probably vacuuming because I have to unravel the chunky cord, plug it into a special outlet that transports the dirt to a receptacle, find and put on some ear protection, deal with some suction problems.
I have ADHD, so my brain processes tasks differently. Most people think of it as having one task: do the dishes. Sometimes on a really good day I can also do that, but most days I see every single dish as an individual chore. It's mentally exhausting. I don't have a dishwasher, so it's all by hand which just makes it that much worse.

What is the most important thing in a relationship?

I always wonder how it is that people so easily understand the time, patience, selflessness and level of priority a child needs, but are so confused about what's often missing when a relationship goes bad? We know we need to be emotionally present with our kids. We know we can't put them on the back burner. We're there when they hurt, when they need to talk, to share their successes. Our priorities are to keep our kids safe and healthy, to help them grow. To make sure they never doubt our love for them. To make them feel valued and important. Isn't that what everyone wants and needs? So many will say that trust or communication or physical intimacy are the most important things in a healthy relationship. I think those things are the product of a strong emotional connection. And then they, in turn, feed and reinforce the connection. But first there are the basic human emotional needs that have to be met: to both feel valued, loved, that the relationship is a priority. When a person feels loved, emotionally safe and valued, it's easy to work together on everything else.

How do you usually take care of your hair? Would you say it is hard to maintain? 💇‍♀️

TobbeAsks’s Profile Photoᛏᛟᛒᛒᚨ
I apply a hair moisturizer every night, and I wash my hair every 3 days. While washing it, I apply conditioner. I make sure that the shampoo and the conditioner are both sulfate-free. Also I take one 10K mcg Biotin pill daily to strengthen my hair even more and to fight hair loss.
Depends on my hair length which usually changes over the year. When it's very short I wash it every day since it's so quick, easy and makes no changes to how it looks. When it's medium length I wash it every other day since it 2day hair is still clean but looks better on me, Then it's longer and I use some hair styling substance, I wash it every day again to get rid of the stuff and have fresh hair in the morning. I don't use any condition in general unless I feel fancy that moment and use some of my wifes.
I condition pretty much every day. My hair is too frizzy and curly to not at least wet it in the shower, but I only shampoo every three to five days (or whenever it feels or looks dirty). I put in an anti-frizz product that give it a bit of hold during the day the brings out my curls. Since I work out often I may shower twice a day. If that happens I generally don't wash my hair again, or only rinse it with water. Now that I'm getting older and I know thin hair runs in my family (neither my father nor grandfather are bald, but their hair got thinner as they got older) I put in Minoxidil after I shower as well to prevent hair loss.
I have thick hair too so I just ask my barber to thin it out almost everytime I go. Wash every other day, as washing every day takes out the natural oils and I find my hair goes hay like if I do that over a long period.
I wash and condition my hair every other day unless I'm around cigarette smoke then I have to wash it daily. About once a week I comb some coconut oil through the ends about and hour before I bathe. It helps keep my ends from splitting and becoming brittle. I try not to brush my hair to often to minimize damage. I have long fine hair so I have to treat it very gently to keep it looking nice. I trim the tips about once a month and get it professionally trimmed every 3 months.

How would the world be different if everybody was vegetarian?

I guess in some aspects people would be healthier (although there is plenty of non meat/animal product junk foods).
We wouldn’t have the mass meat industry though so animals would probably be treated better.
But we’d probably over-farm our soil I feel like so we’d have a lot of gmo and pesticides instead of the hormones and antibiotics.
So it’s a toss up. And that’d
probably hurt forests more since crops I feel like need more room.
