What's your go to "interesting fact about yourself?"

I can recite the alphabet of 3 languages forward and backwards on demand, one being Russian though my pronunciation is bad on Russian. Don't actually know much Russian, just the alphabet. I usually leave that part out.
So, story for the curious. During my time building flights to be eligible for my commercial pilot's license I would fly over a certain lake outside of Tulsa. It was in a practice area and honestly in Cessna 152 while flying solo you get really bored. I'm puttering around at 500 ft AGL over the lake for a couple minutes to check out the north shore for some reason. Well I look to the south and there's this 25 ft long uncanopied party barge looking boat. No biggie but there's three huge balls on the deck. Of course this peaks my interest so I change course and fly over it. I then start circling it, once and then twice trying to understand the balls. Well on the start of the third circle the boat stops all movement and the five people on board all put their arms up like "we surrender" I see this and instantly think "oh fuck they must think I'm DEA!" At this point I decide to amscray and apply full throttle while climbing out. Never did find out what those giant orange balls were.
When I was in university I managed to pull off a month-and-a-half long road trip. A friend and I drove around the UK looking for cool places, abandoned buildings, haunted locations, and anything that caught our eye. At night we would put the back seats down and fill the back of the car with pillows and blankets and sleep there. Absolutely incredible experience.
Colors and sounds here, when I was a kid. Doesn't happen very strongly anymore unless I'm medicated on something, the last time I think I was 16 on some kind of medicine, and I was absolutely petrified because my dad was screaming at me in a particularly nasty yellow. I used to do labour work in Southern Ontario/Can., mostly roofing - best job I've ever had. That in combination with living in a rural town, having a big dog and a deck to drink iced tea on while staring into the great open is my idea of the good life.
I have a rare disease that makes me burn within just minutes when exposed to too much light, or for too long. I practically never leave my house during the day.
I like watch restoring. Taking them apart, cataloging how it all goes back together, cleaning/oiling the parts and stuff. I've recently gotten pretty into whittling, too
Somewhat. I can't do big calculations in my head or anything but I feel like I have a good grasp of deductive reasoning which is what a lot of maths in university ends up boiling down to.
Like 15-20 years ago, I used to do a bunch of child modelling for magazines and Target and was on the wall of the stores as one of those kids showing off the clothing. I showed off the socks. My sister was also on the back of the Chex box for years.

couple questions: 1) wasnt it a bit stalkerish that he looked for you and found you on facebook? 2) how did your mom know about him wanting to date you before you ever dated him?

No. He was still at my house. They went on lunch break and he messaged saying oh hey I thought that was you. Funny thing is he had tried adding me months before that and I was just deleting all my friend requests I got.
I used to tell my mom everything. We were close. Plus I needed someone to watch Carson so I could go and she always said no to watching him because dating wasn’t important.
Me and him were meant to be. He wasn’t even a window installer. He worked on the roofing team. A guy had called out that day and he just happened to be the number two that came along. It also just happened to be my day off work.
+1 answer in: “how did you and your husband meet?”

You always say he owns all these companies but then after awhile you say he quits cause he didn't like it. When you own a company you can't just quit like that

He has quit two partnerships with other companies. The companies weren't doing what they were supposed to do, and so he went to find another company to work with. And the place he is partnered with now, didn't even do roofing before, and now he owns part of that company too because he bought in and started the roofing side of that company. You don't have to understand it though bro.

In the area where you live there any news reports or legends of strange local creatures? In my region, particularly to the north of us, there are quite a few, including T'owd Lad in his Black Dog form, but locally we currently have a scare involving a werewolf (!) called Old Stinker. [Doug]

Boy, I don't think so. Where I live the people are the odd creatures. There are a couple brothers who did roofing here for a long time. Both were odd sorts. One day they were working on a roof and brother A didn't want to go down for more shingles, so he took some from brother B's pile. Brother B threw his brother off the roof in retaliation. Brother B also drove around with a dead skunk tied to his truck. That's just one example. The only animal legend I know is that there is a whitetail doe that lost its mother when it was very small. A family took in the fawn and raised it. That doe has been wandering the woods for years now, recognizable by a faded red bandanna around her neck. It's a treat to see her with her fawns each year.

@wickedericka @DantaiMedway @fattrash @Katrinaaaaa_b @ugh_smh @sammanthaclassyy @RyannClubberlang @OtakuDex @dovbts @dovbts @anancitae @Shauna_Garrett @cybergrrrl @Jesskaaaaa @Adam_x0 @myselfananya @lukewassuspendedagain Explain to these kids why men can experience sexism.

Boys are commonly shown less compassion than girls from an early age (amongst other things, boys are picked up after and slower than girls when they cry)
Although a majority of women make less than men on the job; men are expected to relocate more often, work longer hours, and to keep a smaller cut of their paycheques for themselves than women, due to socially decided portions of obligations such as mortgages, romantic outings, and such
Men are expected to occupy the most dangerous and/or lowest paying jobs and positions (waste collection, roofing and construction, truck driving, mining, logging, firefighting, most things related to war)
The pressure on women to ‘hold down a man’ is synonymous with the pressure on men to ‘hold down a job.'
Women are expected to date up, men are expected to date down. A man is expected to be taller, smarter, more athletic, and earn more than his female companion. There’s also a gender-specific ageism at play (preference for older men, and younger women)
Men are conditioned to reject anything feminine within themselves such as emotions, frailty, and so on (homophobia could be argued as a physical and violent manifestation of this conditioned rejection)
Children bestow more love upon their stay-at-home moms than their sole-providing dads (this comes with the territory of his being away from the family for the longest period of time, multiple times). Husbands report, the few that do, that they feel as if they’re providing for a family that no longer loves them quite the way they used to.
Throughout history women were/are treated as property, but men were/are expected to die for their property [and home and nation, which constitute as property] (some people, like Warren Farrell, conclude that they’re thus viewed as being worth less than their property).
Male-on-male violence is treated as a sport, as an ideal, and as entertainment than for what it actually is. And men who choose not to participate in such violence are looked down upon by both men and women.
The stats are iffy on this, but the combination of casually shunned female-on-male rape and male-on-male rape in places such as prison paints men as both leading victims of sexual violence and as the most silent majority
There’s no male equivalent of anything that a man can lie about a woman that can ruin her life, reputation, and career as dramatically as a woman’s false cry of abuse or rape
The combination of marriage and divorce is heavily sided against men in countries like the USA; men are expected to provide financial support for their wives and women to provide emotional support for their husbands, and after divorce ex-husbands are expected to continue their financial support in some way while ex-wives continuing their emotional support after divorce is unheard of.
Most media of entertainment without readily viewable violence or action of some kind favour women as they are the main consumers of such media

Hi! I recently just started following you and it'd be really nice if you give a brief summary about you and your family so I get to know you all better! I think your family is so adorable!

My name is Abby, I'm 20. I am married to my incredible husband Patrick, who is 23. We have 3 children together. Zeeya is 2 1/2, Zaidyn is 1 1/2, and Zylphia is 8 months old. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is an estimator/project coordinator for a building and roofing company and he also owns his own company. If you want anything else just ask:)

hhhhhhhhhh , it's your life no one can Intervenes on your sexual life , I am as a teenager wanna to know who was your first kiss and Red-Night " Romantic" :D

Well I am curious as to what it's like to kiss a guy. I don't like the idea of having sex with one though. However my friend is totally straight he wouldn't kiss me. I also want my first male kiss to be as perfect as my first female kiss :)

<3 (1st kiss) My first kiss was December 21 2013 on the summer solstice. My ex girlfriend and I had seen each other for the second time ever and we spent that night hanging out with my roommate (A class wing-man @ChuckWhiskey) after going to bed she ended sharing mine with me, and after a little talking, back massage and playfulness I turned my head away from her for a second in thought and then turned back about 6cm from her face, she took a short breath and I had not even considered kissing her till that point. Within half a second I both considered and went in for it. This is by far the most memorable kiss of my life so far. And it was perfect. After the kiss I looked at her and said "Not bad for a first time" and she lost it LOL. Given her level of experience she was astounded at how it was my first kiss. Guess I have a natural talent or something :P

B==D (1st sex) My first night also with my ex. After a week of preparation I was finally ready for valentines day feb 14th 2014. I left a hand made chocolate box with a letter at her front door in the morning without bothering her. It was a busy day for her. That evening I took her to a park reserve where no one was, lit a few candles and ate a french style dish I cooked myself (still warm) along with some sweet fortified wine and played music on a portable speaker. We had a great time did some yoga and climbed around on the structure of the little roofing we ate under (fun times). After that we had a conversation all the way to her home in a taxi about reality and meaning. By that point it was so late I ended up staying the night and lost my virginity as a result :) What I find amazing is that that night was a full moon. You only get a full moon on valentines day every 47 years !!!

do you have some thought, some verses or a text maybe to share now? would love to read something from you as a goodnight-tale! :)

The only promise I need is a change of time and space
turn this words around, blur the trace
No endings, no goodbyes, who needs safety when we know it's filled with lies
no one falls apart with this hold of care, raven the nocturnal air
that we call our own
stuck in gravity
and forever risen from an unseen link, roofing our straying hearts to not let them sink
before the last words are spoken
don't fly too high, you can't trust the sky
when winds are fooling us, leading us south, bound in disgust
this is not where we belong, i said
you'll be my pharos instead
is it worth staying in the cold, don't waste the hold
if you can't find the lanes
hidden virtue that always remains
because we're here to built different shadows steering us in undreamed meadows
and soon we learn how easy it was to make our eternity last
we bury every secret, we make the reticence keep it
no one will ever know how far I would go
and I wish I had known how deserted it feels to be drowned
in an ocean of fiction on my own, despite you're my newest addiction
leaving me breathless
endow you the key to my access leading into dust until it clears
for you and me
never told you about my fears
every day I ran before
but there's nothing wrong anymore with being too real
to you and me
rainiest days spend by the glaring sun, magnetic attraction or just contradiction
in a blurry night we stop to wonder what we've become and remember how regardless it felt
the moment our souls decided to melt
start something unsure, something worth every doubt of your automatic cure
because nothing ever made me feel safe
we're alone now, stuck in the keeping cave
of you and me
so show me every truth, even though I knew
you're the ivory and I'm the ash
burning you out in my darkening flash
this metal I feel inside of me is about to take over our only exit
begging my hands on the wheel
told you I need to be animate even if I'm burned in my own retrograde
arising in your flow
you said love teaches us to go
and oh, I'll run after you
your soul keeps on pulling out parts of me
and I act like I can't see
the beauty of your dignity
sometimes we're able to find fate in the unlikeliest place
stop to see in black and white
this wasn't our life, haunted every night, oh, we've been walking in our sleep
they needed us to meet
waking up to see everything was meant to be
you and me
tripping in your sea built so calm and free, I'm learning how to breathe
loving the taste of how underwater feels
when it makes me see you clearer
I'll be out of breath forever
You came out of nowhere and I'm on my way
can't understand but I hope it will stay
'cause you made me yours now
oh, you made me yours now

They always just blame Franklin for everything and always take greendales side. That's my opinion I absolutely understand if you don't agree.

everybody is getting called "sluts" and "whores" and to be those in 8th grade is un realistic, i dont understand why people would be upset if we like someone from a different community. why cant we be frankdale like the one roofing company?

Naja was heißt in Ordnung? Es gibt auf jeden Fall viel schlimmere Dinge, die unsere heutige Jugend täglich so treibt. Da ist Roofing wie ich finde harmlos und ja, ich finde es ist in Ordnung. Es gibt kein Gesetz was dagegen spricht.
