Seen a lot of talk about 'love language' and wondered what you consider yours to be? (The term love language refers tothe way that a person prefers to express love to and receive it from a partner. It is now often used generally to refer to many different methods of expressing love)

LouisaRHale’s Profile PhotoLou
There was actually a nice test online for that. And Yes, that it’s actually my LL. My love language was “Physical Touch” and that said:
“This language isn't all about the bedroom. A person whose primary language is Physical Touch is, not surprisingly, very touchy. Hugs, pats on the back, holding hands, and thoughtful touches on the arm, shoulder, or face - they can all be ways to show excitement, concern, care, and love. Physical presence and accessibility are crucial, while neglect or abuse can be unforgivable and destructive. Physical touch fosters a sense of security and belonging in any relationship.”

Boy’s what stopping u frm getting married?

Someone who’s mindset isn’t confined to materialistic gains.
I find it hilarious that people are running for financial security, emotional security, physical security, all other kinds of securities where in reality there is no such thing as eternal security(except provided from God). I might be having everything today but tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. Security is an illusion, we can make our lives less miserable on earth but we cannot guarantee that things will never change. So when the good times are there, enjoy and when the bad days hit, support each other and that’s the beauty of living.

How do you determine which job you will accept when you have multiple offers?

There are many factors that I consider. I will list a few considerations below:
1. Job Description - does the job fit my skill set and provide opportunities to learn, acquire new skills while assuming greater responsibility?
2. Travel - how much travel is involved?
3. Commute - how many miles and how much time is consumed commuting each day?
4. Relocate - do I need to relocate?
5. Mission Statement - is the corporate mission statement ethical and does it square with my personal set of values and beliefs?
6. Management - are the managers tyrants or do they listen to their employee's and solicit ideas and advice? Also, are the managers knowledgeable about the products and services the corporation provides or are they simply well educated talking heads and group followers who are not able to think outside the box, solve problems and think critically and with common sense?
7. Customer Service - does management understand the importance of customer service and providing products and services that are high quality, reliable and that function as advertised?
8. Manufacturing - are the quality standards 6 sigma and does the corporation reinvest in manufacturing technology, parts and materials to ensure products are design to specifications and meet or exceed reliability and quality standards i.e. MTBF, MTTR, etc.
9. Research and Development - do the engineering management team understand the customer needs and are they designing products to meet or exceed these customer requirements/needs i.e. form, fit, functionality & features, speed, ease of use, serviceability, cost vs performance, energy consumption, heat generation and dissipation, etc.
10. Marketing - does the corporation invest in marketing? It does no good to have the best product and the best price point if nobody knows about it. Is the sales force knowledgeable and inspired? Do they believe in the product being sold? Are the sales engineers knowledgeable and able to take complicated topics and simplify them so the customer can understand what the product is and how the product will benefit them while saving them money, increase productivity, and improve reliability and security?
11. Teamwork - is teamwork encouraged or is it simply a theory that is never practiced or implemented. Ask the hiring manager to provide examples of teamwork that help the corporation design and manufacture a product on time and under budget? Find out how teamwork and management supports the group and position that you are applying for or will you be expected to perform without any guidance or support?
12. Compensation - Negotiate a fair wage. Inquire about incentive programs such as bonuses, paid leave, education reimbursement, health care costs, vacation, sick time, pensions, 401k corporate matching, relocation expenses, per diem, signing bonus and allowances.
These are just a few considerations. And remember, not only is the company interviewing you, but you need to interview them as well.

I get my silver lining outlook from my mom, along with a bunch of hobbies like gardening, art and reading!
But then I get my sense of paranoia (yes I know it sounds bad lol) from my dad. So like the need to check security, that I have everything etc. Plus I get my nerdy side from him! So my like for robots, star trek, etc :3

Do we need to debate on the rules? Discussion!! Doesn't it sound like a mild agreement. When you don't want it.. You simply don't talk about it.. No?!?

deeda_dahi’s Profile PhotoZalaam
I was raised in socialism - an era full of laws, rules and strict punishments without the possibility of discussion. Some fools call that period the dictatorship of communism, . I call it the golden good times:
- security on the streets was better
- everyone had to work and therefore had a stable income
- study and health care were free of charge and of high quality
- there were no rich and poor people here, everyone had the similar property.
Yes, it was forbidden to travel to the west without allowance and we had not western goods in the shops, but let's face it - what good has come from the west? 😂😂😂

I miss old games. As you probably know, Adobe Flash Player no longer exists, it's gone and with it went all the games that operated on it. I don't mind new games, but those old games had something special xD

Ah yes.. gone with all the other potential "security risks".. yay for technology lol
But I know what you mean! That being said, it won't surprise me if somewhere people will try to emulate the old flash games to work on what we have left! Especially if they enjoyed them! :)

Would you recommend a career in sport? Are the injuries worth it?

Only if you really, really love it. You will meet some of the best people in the world, but it's pretty brutal. You will get injured, you won't always heal from those injuries - a lot of them will heal initially and then flare up as you get older and your body less forgiving. The turnover is high - you'll be an athlete until you're in your mid-20s (if you're good enough) and then you've got to adapt. It's not as easy as saying "okay, I'll coach" because coaching is a skillset. Good players don't make good coaches, a lot of the time, they're too competitive. And there's a lot more ex-players looking for jobs than there are actual players 😂
So if you love it, and if you get in young, yes. Absolutely. It can be so awesome.
If you're not already involved in sport, no. Not worth it. There's no job security unless you stay top of your game (be that in coaching, management, playing) so you have to keep going.

What do you like most about traveling? 😺

zeldalink1’s Profile PhotoNitu.
When I was a young man I loved to travel, mostly on business trips. Back in the day, I could arrive to the airport one hour before departure and walk to the plane without any security or impediments. Everything about flying was enjoyable from the good food, good service and pleasant conversation and acts of random kindness. Our society was kind, compassionate and generous in the 80's and 90's. My how things have changed, and NOT for the better.
I won't elaborate here because I do not want to upset the woke activists who follow me, but suffice it to say that there is more hate and reverse discrimination now than I have seen in my entire life. And for what? Why?
Do I like traveling?
Only by automobile where I am in complete control and do not have to deal with the woke cancel culture, victimhood, reverse racism, reverse bigotry, and pervasive hatred toward white people simply because of the color of their skin.
Yes I will travel, but to the extent possible, I will avoid all woke activists and people who perpetuate hate and division. When I travel, I expect to be treated with respect and accepted for the content of my character and not the color of my skin. Reverse racism is alive and thriving in America because of the entitled woke activists an their belief that they are victims who deserve reparations and want to inflict punishment on anyone who opposes their Marxist ideology their goal to destroy our Constitutional Republic. In closing I want to reiterate the fact that I oppose and reject reverse racism and all racism!!

Do you hate the stereotypes against certain dog breeds i. e pitbulls, rottweillers that they're inherently aggressive? I personally believe there's no such thing as a bad dog, only bad owners.

Agreed!!
Dogs are not born aggressive! And certain breeds aren't worse than others. All they need is the same as all creatures! Love and protection :)
I remember a TikTok where a "Karen" demanded her neighbours dog be put down because it was "aggressive". She had laced meat with a poison and dropped it over the fence so the dog would eat it. Luckily the dog was okay! But she proceeded to one day attack the owner unprovoked, and the dog protected the owner. Thankfully it was all on the owner's security camera. The woman was arrested lol
Dogs are protective of their pack! And their owner's, when treated right, are a member of the pack :3

Why are the democrats and leftists so unhinged and irrational?

Because they are losing the culture war and are about to lose political power. Here are two examples of invalid arguments that demonstrate that globalist democrats and RINO's are losing:
1a. Argument#1: "OMG the Supreme Court is not going to protect our constitutional right to an abortion."
1b. Fact: The right to an abortion appears nowhere in the Constitution,
1c. Conclusion: The democrat's argument concerning the "constitutional right" to an abortion is invalid.
2a. Argument#2 - American citizens do not have the right to own or carry a gun.
2b. Fact: The Supreme Court says there is a constitutional right to keep and bear arms, the text of which is explicit i.e. "shall not be infringed."
2c. Conclusion: The democrats argument concerning gun ownership is invalid.
Text of the 2nd Amendment
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Why are the globalist ruling class and political class so angry and upset about the second amendment?
Because the globalists understand that they can only achieve a New World Order (One World Government) if they disarm the American citizen and destroy the middle class. As long as citizens have guns, they can defend themselves, their families, their communities, their state and their country, their property and their wealth. In order for the democrats to Build Back Better (destroy America) they must first disarm it's citizens, confiscate their property and steal their wealth.

Reflection Of The Day!

"1984" by George Orwell
“For if leisure and security were enjoyed by all alike, the great mass of human beings who are normally stupefied by poverty would become literate and would learn to think for themselves; and when once they had done this, they would sooner or later realise that the privileged minority had no function, and they would sweep it away. In the long run, a hierarchical society was only possible on a basis of poverty and ignorance.”

Please describe in detail the incident where you were told that you're too rotund for a member of your occupation.

Once again, it was a situation like that, so those exact words were not used. But an irate methed up customer repeatedly called me a fucking fat bitch at work a few weeks ago. It was quite amusing. Security came and took care of him pretty quickly.

Hi tita! Super random question. If you win the lottery, how would you divide it among you and your family: - Yourself - Dad who gave limited child support at mucho ngayon - Mom who gave all child support at gumagapang pa rin hanggang ngayon - Sister who has her own family

Did you win the lottery? 😁 Congratulations! Who says you have to give anything to anyone? If that actually happens to you, don't even tell anyone you won anything. Get the winnings and put it in your savings. Make great investments. Ensure your financial security. Help your family when you can, or not. No obligations Boundaries will save you.

Why are people on the left joining the right?

"The Turn" by Liel Leibovitz (part 4)
When “the left” becomes the party of wealthy elites and state security agencies who preach racial division, state censorship, contempt for ordinary citizens and for the U.S. Constitution, and telling people what to do and think at every turn, then that’s the side you are on, if you are “on the left”—those are the policies and beliefs you stand for and have to defend. It doesn’t matter what good people “on the left” believed and did 60 or 70 years ago. Those people are dead now, mostly. They don’t define “the left” anymore than Abraham Lincoln defines the modern-day Republican Party or Jimi Hendrix defines Nickelback.
So look at the list of things supported by the left and ask yourself: Is that me? If the answer is yes, great. You’ve found a home. If the answer is no, don’t let yourself be defined by an empty word. Get out. And once you’re out, don’t let anyone else define you, either. Not being a left-wing racist or police state fan doesn’t make you a white supremacist or a Trump worshipper, either. Only small children, machines, and religious fanatics think in binaries.
Which isn’t to diminish the anger, hurt, and confusion you’re feeling just now. But it’s worth understanding that your story has a happy ending. The freedom you feel on the other side is so real it’s physical, like emerging from a long stretch underwater and taking that first deep breath in the cool afternoon air. None of it makes the lost friends or the lost career opportunities any less painful; but there’s no more potent source of renewable energy than liberty, and your capacity to reinvent—yourself, your group, your life—is greater than you realize.
So welcome to the right side, friend, and join us in laughing at all the idiotic name-calling that is applied, with increasing hysteria, to try and stop more and more normal Americans from joining our ranks. Fascists? Conspiracy theorists? Anti-science racist TERFs? Whatever. We have a better word to describe ourselves: free.

Do you ever feel like the government intelligence agencies are a bunch of immature childish bullying punks who have far too much power than they should be allowed to have considering how irresponsible they are managing it?

Yes. The federal government is too fat and needs to be trimmed by 50%. The way the USA is supposed to function is that most of the power is granted to state governments. The federal government exists primarily to provide for the security and safety of our entire nation (military) and provide other "inter-state" functions like transportation, health, etc.
I would also eliminate the DOE and CIA. The DOJ needs to clean house including the FBI. These agencies have become 100% corrupt and now see the American citizen as terrorists for wanting to get involved with local school boards. Also, and most importantly, we need to end the fascism by eliminating the corporate takeover of our federal government. The congress is completely beholden to America's corporations and this MUST end via term limits and punishing congressional members who accept bribes from these corporate special interest groups.

How do you make sure your work is safe if you use a laptop?

To be fair, I think your work can never be fully safe.
I have passwords on the maps, I mostly store important documents on a healthcare website dedicated to SLP work that is very well protected. I have a physical copy in files that I also store away with locks, etc. I also make sure I don’t just download things off the internet, I regularly check my laptop’s security and I update regularly. Oh and I make sure that names of people are never in the file names.

Have you complained about your neighbour's flood light? 😠

I haven't personally, cuz tbh I hate confrontation, and I know that guy isn't the nicest :/
But I know his next door neighbour has! Because it full on points into their daughters room and it makes her uncomfortable (he has a security camera too)
But the guy just told them to close the curtains. It's so bright that curtains don't block out the light -_-
So yeah. Not sure what's gonna happen..

“Those who advocate for stricter gun control measures *never* make a distinction between legally and illegally obtained firearms“ The man involved in the school shooting got his gun legally though?

It would appear that he did but this does not negate the fact which I mentioned. Interestingly enough, no mention is ever made of the fact that over 31% of *legal* firearm owners have thwarted criminal activity, saved countless lives and made other positive contributions to their communities. To put things in perspective, we are talking of about 1.6 million incidents and we must ask ourselves why this information is being withheld from the public. Is it possible that there is an irrational fear of firearms which drives the gun control agenda? Moreover, if the perpetrator had the criminal intent to commit a horrible act and the law prevented him from acquiring those firearms legally, what law would have prevented him from obtaining them illegally? As everyone knows, illegal firearms are available on the black market and no prohibition has ever worked - not for alcohol, not for drugs and it certainly won't work for firearms. Someone will always fill the demand. Again, firearms aren't the problem. The person who holds them and wishes to harm others is where our focus should be. Moreover, we now know that he had a lengthy history of making v!olent threats, t0rturing animals and apparently, he was being monitored by the authorities for nearly one year. This begs the question: why didn't they intervene? He made his intentions clear on several sites. Was he purposely allowed to carry on in order to incite more calls for gun control? The entire matter seems highly suspicious. Let's consider that the entry to the school was left wide open and unguarded, the security was conveniently away, the local police took almost one hour to enter the school and they attempted to prevent Federal law enforcement (ICE Agents) from entering the building. It was one of those agents who finally managed to enter and take him down. Lastly, how was this "broke" teenager able to afford *thousands of dollars* in weapons and ammunition? There are too many questions and as I have previously stated, a thorough investigation is in order. There is no law or restriction which would have prevented this horror but clearly, there were numerous contributing factors and we deserve reasonable answers.

What do you think should be done about all these shootings?

First of all, we can stop pretending that people who commit such horrible acts aren't deeply disturbed. A sane / rational person would never do something so heinous. Secondly, we need to implement stronger security measures. If we can take such steps to protect banks, courthouses, government buildings, museums, etc., we can certainly do as much *and more* to protect children. Thirdly, we need to stop vilifying and blaming firearms. They can be used to protect lives too and in the recent incident, it was an armed law enforcement officer who was able to neutralize the perpetrator, probably saving the lives of others who might have been shot. As previously mentioned, my city has Safety Agents in every school and we do not have such incidents. Lastly, we must encourage responsible citizens to protect themselves and their communities. This can be done with periodic training, certification and other proven methods. The problem isn't difficult to solve but unfortunately, there is no willingness to take corrective steps because the primary objective has always been to disarm the population and leave us weak and vulnerable. Anyone who does not recognize such a blatantly obvious agenda is incomprehensibly ignorant.

How do feel about this app do you think it's safe to be on

I like it. I’ve met some great people that I’d never meet otherwise. However, there needs to be more guidelines and safety measures on here. I’ve seen and heard far too many horror stories about creepy people, stalkers, predators, etc… lurking on this site. I also think it’s a mistake to let kids on here, given how little security there is and reporting/blocking does almost nothing. It’s why I refuse to share personal/identifying info, even as an adult, as it makes me so, incredibly anxious. I think people need to have their guard up, as it seems safety isn’t a priority. But that’s just me. People are gonna do as they please.

Personal opinion: Guns don't k*ll people. It's not a gun control problem, it's a mental health problem and THAT'S what needs to be addressed.

There are several issues to consider. Let's take gun control. Chicago has some of the most restrictive measures in place and that city also has one of the *highest* rates of firearm related crimes in the entire country. Obviously, gun control is not the answer or that city would be a peaceful paradise. Simply put, criminals do not care about laws and as Chicago has demonstrated, time and time again, those who wish to use firearms for illegal purposes *WILL* continue unabated. Furthermore, restrictions remove firearms from the hands of law-abiding citizens. Civilians are left vulnerable and easy targets for armed criminals. Why some people continue to ignore these two blatantly obvious realities truly baffles me. Let's also consider the fact that most mass shootings occur in designated "gun-free zones." It should be no surprise that an armed criminal would choose to prey on people who have no means to defend themselves. Knee-jerk "solutions" and emotional appeals for more restrictive measures are utterly ridiculous, *unconstitutional* and downright childish. With respect to mental healthcare / related issues, I would agree that we are not doing enough. We also have a huge problem with drugs in this country and it is largely ignored. To what extent has that problem been a contributing factor? There are several studies and statistics but they are largely ignored too. America does not have "a gun problem" - we have a problem holding criminals accountable, providing adequate mental healthcare, constantly vilifying those who risk their lives to protect ours and supporting authoritarians who trample on our *constitutional* rights. As a resident of NYC where crime is high, resources are limited and gun control is more restrictive than it has ever been, we have managed to get one thing right: school shootings are practically nonexistent. Why? Because we had enough sense to put Safety Agents in schools with direct access to NYPD. If this country really wanted to prevent such horrors, there are plenty of former military and law enforcement officers who could provide security in every school. It is a practical solution and if it can work in this city, it can work anywhere. It's time to put our feelings aside and implement logical solutions which can save lives: armed security, metal detectors, quick access to mental healthcare for those who need it and allowing people to defend themselves and their communities in accordance with The Second Amendment.
