What is your all-time favorite town or city? Why?

Amsterdam / Purmerend
Both of them are beautiful. Amsterdam is a place you have to visit once in your life, a place to party, to feel free and it's just has it's own aura. You have to see it (at night) to understand.
And I lived in Purmerend, it's quiet, beautiful, green. When you take a walk, there are a lot of animals around, you become one with nature. If you smoke a joint while you are walking, it will make it even better. Little ducklings, trees, water, beautiful houses, boats. After Hungary it was a whole new world for me.

What are adjectives people commonly use to describe you?

Quirky, nice, happy, friendly, lovely and cute are probably the ones I hear most often from my friends, co workers and girlfriend.
I guess I'd agree with all of those. My husband adds in funny - I generally don't think of myself as a funny person but I can be around people I am really super comfortable with.
Intense - Easily the top one I get. It sounds negative, but the second I want to get into details on the meaning I'm just proving I'm intense apparently. Smart - Sure, I agree. Strong - They mean mentally and I don't know if I agree or not. Mostly I disagree, but I'm not dead so maybe they have a point. Hard headed/Stubborn - ...yeah. Crazy - Well documented so yeah.
Weird/eccentric - Seems to be used when people don't want to say "crazy," so sure. Meticulous - I got this a lot at work. I would agree that I am on some things. Funny - I don't really agree on that, but people laugh so I dunno. Sarcastic - Much easier for me to agree with than a general "funny." High maintenance - I don't think I'm that bad honestly. Lazy - Used often when I'm depressed. Disagree. I'm depressed. Big difference.
I think quirky is the most common. I'm called mothering, eloquent, concise, forward, loud, smart, annoying.
Funny, cute, beautiful, kind hearted, sympathetic, easy going, relaxed, patient, talkative, empathetic, genuine.
Intimidating, quiet, patronizing, really fucking smart, overthinker, neurotic, 'magnanimous with the cloves,' ambitious, kind, a comrade, a team player, overcommitter, procrastinator, hipster.
I agree with the negatives mostly. I'm struggling to correct them. Magnanimous with the cloves is probably my favorite description ever (I used to smoke cloves, and give them away to whoever asked, no questions back).
Cute, Sweet, Warm, Girl Next Door, Worrisome, Intelligent, INNOCENT. I don't get it, no matter my personality I get innocent. I guess I could agree with some of them, maybe not the innocent one (and I have no idea what people mean when they tell me I'm the girl next door. They barely know me).

Do girls like personality more than looks?

Nope I don't think so. Everybody judges first based on looks. Personality wala factor tab aa skta hai jab aap ne kafi time sath spend kia ho. Warna most girls I've known will use the dumbest excuses to justify why the hot guy is actually very kind and the koja guy is actually very ghatiya as a person.
I've actually done a lot of field work and research on this. And eventually, I gave the fuck up. I had a friend (not going into the details) who said "falan apne doston k sath cafe betha rehta hai some of them smoke and stuff ew he seems like such a kanjar person" etc and I was like um sure maybe that's the vibe he gives? But the next day she tells me about this hot ass senior and she's like "he was petting a cat today aww I KNEW he's such a kind person. Not like those vele gandu jo cafe bethe rehte hain" and I was just..stumped. So honestly, I don't even know anymore man. And this is just one example

What do you expect from a friend or partner?

With a friend I expect loyalty, honesty and compatibility. With a partner I want to be with someone who is similar to me. Easy-going, kind, understanding, and somebody who is preferably 420-friendly. I'm not going to date somebody who doesn't like to smoke weed. It's like having a porcupine shoved up your bum. It's not pretty.

How do your explain cancer to another?

"Cancer" by Rhapsody
Cancer is loneliness, but that's only a facet of its full complexion, because it's also a terrifying, and captivating, and illuminating, and a painful as hell disease. Cancer is an unknown; cancer invades and terrorizes your sacred spaces; cancer is a tragedy; cancer sets you free.
The lessons pose opposing truths. It is a death sentence labeled to my skin, the pink ribbon pin set upon silver thread piercing my chest. You can't see the invasive cells growing like clustered grapes along the walls beneath my breast, nor can you smell its toxicity creeping along as kutzu ensnaring the good cells that fight my cause as if the body were a battle field riddled with smoke and canon fire and men falling beneath noxious gas. You smile and admire the survivor, not feeling the stitches that sting, the flesh burns from radiation, the daily pilgrimage to radiation that targets the bull's eyes riddling my chest.
Cancer is a tiger tearing at flesh and a unifier of love and hate sewn into the flag of survivor. You learn to slow down after cancer, to admire the sunset erasing softly into the crevices of nightfall, to hug people and admire each of your gaping wounds, to compliment the unnoticed, to appreciate the smallest acts of others' kindness. Cancer is a true war story that makes you tear the facade from your skin and wear a renewed reality, adorning your inner truths without worry of judgment or humiliation. Cancer makes you her casualty; cancer transforms you into her warrior.

Is it ok to break down and cry whenever someone insults you?

ChrisSmolik4100’s Profile PhotoChris Smolik
No it is not.
Ask yourself this simple question: When someone insults you, whose problem is that...yours or theirs? I believe it to be their problem. Therefore, when you cry, you are making their problem your problem. A more effective strategy would be to tell them that they have a right to their opinion and then to walk away from them without showing any emotion.
When someone insults me I assume several things about that person i.e. (1) they are insecure, (2) they are projecting their anger, anxiety and depression onto me, (3) they are attempting to manipulate and control me, (4) and finally, they are seeking attention and they believe that abusing me will provide the attention they crave.
I refuse to tolerate such dysfunctional and hateful behavior and so I WILL NOT feed into it. Crying is not only feeding into their insecurity and abusive behavior, but it is giving them the weapon and ammunition required to destroy you! If you care about your own health and well being, you will walk away and end your relationship with that person. People who love you and care about you, would never intentionally insult you or do anything to cause you physical or emotional harm.
How can you prevent situations like this or at least minimize them? Establish personal boundaries. In other words, you must decide what types of behaviors you are willing to accept and those behaviors you refuse to accept. Once you have defined your upper and lower thresholds, then you must effectively implement them into your daily life. I am not saying it is easy, but it is essential if you want to manage the dysfunctional people in your life. Sometimes these boundaries involve time limits or distance or stating your rules either verbally or in writing.
Here are a few examples:
1. Smoking - I do not allow smoking in my house. If someone lights up, I kindly ask them to please smoke outside.
2. Vacations - before I allow anyone to vacation with me I must know and agree to their arrival date and their departure date.
3. Alcohol and drugs - my mother was an alcoholic. Whenever I took my mother out to a restaurant, I would remind her that she is allowed only one alcoholic beverage. Now some people reading this are probably thinking that I am nuts, right? Have you ever had to pick your mother off the floor because she passed out from being drunk? Or had to restrain your mother for sexually assaulting a married man because she was drunk? Or help your father wipe the vomit from her face before putting her safely into bed? So before you criticize me...try walking in my shoes.
4. Distance - I admit this is drastic but sometimes the only solution is to move away from all of the family dysfunction. I did, and the truth is that moving saved my life.
Summary: Learning to establish effective boundaries that define and differentiate acceptable behaviors from unacceptable behaviors is essential to your own personal health and well being. Good Luck

Do you ever use scented candles at all, either for relaxation, to induce sleep, create a cosy atmosphere, or simply to mask the smell of tobacco or marij*ana smoke? If so which one's do you find the best?

Buffyfan’s Profile PhotoAlex
I love scented candles, I feel that it increases the positive mood, relaxation and happiness. No I don’t use it to mask anything as smoking is forbidden in my place 😌.. I prefer the spice smells, woody, and my favorite is patchouli.

Tita, I don't smoke, party, nor drink. I'm fully aware that I am socially awkward. U think I'm boring?

I don't smoke, party, or drink. I am the most socially awkward person you'll meet. Does that make me boring? 🤣 Frankly I have met the most boring people in parties. Vices and parties don't make a person interesting! In fact the most interesting people you'll meet never go to parties and flourish during the day. Stop basing your qualities on the reaction of people to you. Do you like interesting things? Are you curious? Are you intelligent? Do you like to learn and share your knowledge? Then I find it hard to believe you can ever be boring. Stop hanging out with the party crowd and you'll stop validating yourself based on party appeal. Find your people instead of molding yourself into the standards of people who will never like you.

Ohhhh Bryan Adams! Seine Stimme ist unverwechselbar^^ Bei Guns'n'Roses', denk ich an meinem Cousin, bei seinen ersten E-Gitarren Griffe ^^ Sweet Child O' Mine+ Ersten Schläge zu Smoke on the Water (Deep Purple).

Herzenskind89’s Profile PhotoHerzenskind

What were you like in school?

youlittlepunk8’s Profile Photoyoulittlepunk
An extreme version of who I am rn. Socially anxious, sed, annoyed af, and rude af.
Usually alone. I Used to smoke on my rooftop to avoid interactions, and meet ups. Now I'm less of those things.
I'd say that's fortunate. But that's not fortune. That is the result of my struggle, self development and compassion that I already had, but never wanted to express.
Self development rules! Also im not bragging but I like to celebrate victories so if anyone has a problem, plis let me have this XD

Do you consider yourself a good person or not? Why?

Overall, probably not. In general I've been a pretty good person most my life and truly and hold myself to what I consider the values of a good person....but I've had some really big mess ups in my life that led to big decisions and I made the wrong decision, which is not only impacting me but my ability to be good role model for my son (ex. financially, socially). And it kills me that I let/caused that to happen. So no, I don't think I'm a good person, but I'm trying.
I don't consider myself a good person. I consider myself a fair person. I've done plenty of bad things. I'm selfish, a little lazy and I get complacent. I'm hard to get along with and I'm not afraid to say no or to correct what I believe to be an error or incorrect. To each unto themselves but I don't mind being shown to be wrong and freely admit when I am. I don't understand why people get so upset when I do the same to them. Well, I do understand. I just disagree with it. But I keep to myself mostly because of it.
I consider myself a good person but in a different form. I am somewhat self centered but the few people I maintain close relationships with, they are always worthy of my time, my care, and my efforts. I will touch only a few of people's lives in my life but the touches I give are memorable and fun or even life changing. My genuine self and no borders kind of personality allows me to morph my character to handle certain situations and to bring good things to me and to other people.
Overall, I consider myself a good person. I am not who I want to be, but I am working on that. I have self-awareness of my shortcomings, as well as my strengths, and try to improve myself as best as I can. If I make mistakes, I try to learn from them. If I hurt someone, I try not to do it again. I think that's all there really is to being a good person.
For the most part, I don't consider myself to be a good person because I don't do good things for myself. I smoke way too much weed, work about 10-12 hours a week, haven't done washing in a month and still live at home. I also have had a bad habit in the past of being a pathological liar. While I'm not as bad as I used to be, I will still occasionally lie to do what I want to do instead of others. I know all this and I have every opportunity to change myself but I don't. And I end up hating myself because of it. And because I hate myself, i dont want others to hate me, so when I'm in company with others or my girlfriend or friends, I'll try to be as polite and courteous as possible. I offer lifts or to chip in some money for people if they're short on a bill or something.
I am a unique person in my own right. I hold to my own morals the best I can and I try to point myself in the right direction. My understanding of the world is constantly changing, and in my opinion the best way to live the human experience is to be open to change your understanding, and love others like you cherish yourself.

Ten things you love about Spring or other season 🙂

AdrianaRafaela98’s Profile PhotoAdriianna Rafaella
I'll do each season, just because I have free 30 mins 😂
Spring :⛅🌸🌷
Gets warmer, lighter outside.
First spring flowers appear
It's time to plan ahead - like summers coming, what are we doing?!
Spring is the busiest month I think, there's a lot of garden work to do 😍
It's when the spring sun warms us when we chill in the house through the window.
Spring smells nice 😄
Easter day!
Summer:☀️🌡⛈
It's shorts and tshirt season. We can go swimming, sunbathing. The days are really long - great for walks and travelling. Flowers, flowers and flowers 😍 the trees are pretty and green. It's when the nature is most noticeable. Homegrown veggies, greens, fruits! Also thunderstorms. They're amazing and just a summer thing.
Autumn:🍂🍁🌫
Love it when it changes from the day to darkness in 30 mins 😄
It's movie time, warm drink time. It's when everything becomes yellow and orange outside, which is pretty.
It's harry potter time 😄 Halloween!
Preparing for winter 😄 having strip lights in the house.
Winter: ❄☃️🧊
Snow! The house is extra warm and cozy. Building snowmen 😄 hot cocoa. Sit by the window and watch it snow. Gift shopping. Christmas. Christmas decor everywhere in the house and the store is decorated really nicely. Everything smells like smoke from the chimney. 😄
Sorry I'm waiting someone, so - I'm bored 😂

Infrequently, and not recently. I used to more often use incense sticks or my oil burner.
I rarely use any scented stuff now really, I have a very small room and it can become too overpowering.

So my parents are divorced. When they were married she actually didn't smoke in the house because my dad hates it. But after they got divorced she started, tbh it was a hard adjustment :/ I think norms are changing though, like I don't know if your sis has kids but I bet she never smokes around them

🙁 sorry to hear that, yeah it’s an unpleasant smell and second hand smoking is just as bad as smoking a cigarette yourself. Well that must’ve been a stressful event for her which probably exacerbated her smoking habit. Try talking to her and urge her to quit. Definitely since the amount of tobacco commercials decreased cigarettes are not as popular as they used to be. Sadly she does have kids and they’re 1,1,10, and 14. Well if she happens to be outside while they’re playing probably which makes me sad and angry at the same time😐Sometimes I get so furious with her when she comes to visit. Like why have kids if you’re not putting their needs ahead of yours.

No, my mom smoked inside and I HATED it. I had a constant runny nose and my clothes always smelled like smoke. Does your sister try to be courteous about that now, like she doesn't smoke inside her house when you visit or whatever?

I’m so sorry you had to go through that😔 your dad was okay with her smoking indoors? Hope your mom quit smoking. My mom has been nagging my sister to quit for a while now, she’s just so stubborn. She usually smokes outside, when she comes to visit.

Well among many other things, you're self-medicating with cannabis. I mean it's one thing to smoke weed every now and then, but self-medicating is just messed up

ive always had bad social anxiety, bad picking up on social cues, & a hard time problem solving in quick situations
i used to hate weed it gave me more anxiety when i was high
now it calms my social anxiety, gives me more confidence, helps my problem solving, but i’m still bad at picking up social cues
obviously sometimes when i’m high and im not focusing on one thing my mind goes all over the place then it defeats the purpose of me even smoking in the first place
one of my doctors gave me the choice of weed or xanax, i chose weed bc it was the only thing that helped with my anxiety🤷🏼‍♀️
i refused to smoke weed & take anything while i was grieving the loss of my child bc i didnt want to be numb of it or become addicted so obviously you have no idea what you’re talking about bc idk where this idea of me self medicating came from

There is no pain, you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move,
But I can't hear what you're saying
When I was child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone
I can not put my finger on it, now
The child is grown, the dream is gone
I have become comfortably numb

Have you ever ditched school? If so tell the story.

Yeah I was in math class and there was a girl who would always stare at me, and I had enough and my friend texted me saying he was about to smoke so I left and the TA tried to stop me and I said very loudly, I’m leaving and if I go back in there I’m going to beat her fucking ass bitch doesn’t need to be staring the whole class. I left. And she never stared at me again. 😂😂😂😂

So is being able to smoke inside one of the big advantages of vaping over smoking for you?

i quit smoking cigarettes because it was extremely detrimental to my health. vaping was something i took up afterwards so i didn't have the withdrawal symptoms of nicotine. i don't vape very often these days, so it isn't really an x vs. y type of thing — it was just easier on my health.

You're such a polite smoker! Like I think secondhand smoke isn't really a serious issue, but still I get that people are uncomfortable about it indoors so I try to be respectful, you know? I think treating it like smoking a cig is the right approach.

there's not much known about secondhand smoke in terms of vaping, but establishments treat vaping the same as smoking cigarettes — you can't do it inside either way.
there was one time i was at the bar with a friend mid-afternoon and we were the only ones there, so the bartender said i could vape unless another customer walked in, lmaoo. that was the only exception.

Yes i smoke !! So what ???

Malaika_1010’s Profile PhotoMalaika Younas
Das a slow process of commiting suicide. Whoever does, it's haram.
Still I won't judge who does and no one has right to.
• Don’t make your own hands the cause of your own destruction"
(Surah Al-Baqarah Ch:2 V:195)
• O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.”
(Surah Al-Ma’idah Ch:5 V:90)
• And makes lawful to them the good things and makes unlawful to them impure things”
(Surah Al’-A’raf Ch:7 V:157)
Why I explained:
“The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong”
(Surah At-Tawbah Ch:9 V:71)
If someone still don't get it :
“Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are the deaf and dumb who do not use reason.”
(Surah Al-‘Anfal Ch:8 V:22)
“Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe”
(Surah Al-Baqarah Ch:2 V:6)
“They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear.”
(Surah Al-‘A’raf Ch:7 V:179)
