Ich muss hier echt mal gestehen, dass ich viel zu wenig Ahnung von Musik habe. Ich kann mit diesen 38473 Genres und Sub-Genres nichts anfangen, kann mir die nicht merken und einzelne Songs nicht kategorisieren, ich habe weder Alben, noch Singles zuhause und wenn man mir zwei, drei Songs aus einem Album vorspielen würde, würde ich wahrscheinlich nicht einmal wissen, dass die auf dem gleichen Album sind. Meistens mochte ich auch eher einzelne Stücke/Lieder, aus einem Album von 20 Songs haben mir dann vielleicht nur sechs wirklich gut gefallen. Habe auch nie gern Geld ausgegeben für Platten - habe einfach das gehört, was wir zuhause hatten oder mir die Songs aus dem Internet auf den iPod gezogen.
Was Musik betrifft, bin ich wirklich sehr "ungebildet", was mir persönlich aber rein gar nichts ausmacht.

Mein Papa hatte mal eine Schallplattensammlung mit allen möglichen klassischen Stücken, von Chopin bis hin zu Beethoven und dann noch diverse Orchester-Stücke - diese Platten habe ich vor allem als Kind geliebt, weil wir sie immer mal wieder angemacht und laut gehört haben und dabei zusammen durch die Wohnung getanzt sind. Die wurden auch immer bei besonderen Anlässen im Hintergrund gespielt, zum Beispiel an Silvester.
Das werde ich nie vergessen. Die Platten müssten irgendwo noch sein, ich habe sie in liebevoller Erinnerung.

We’re doing great! Cecilia is getting big. She’s definitely a daddy’s girl but loves her mama a lot. She said her first word the other day which is insane to me. She’s 8 months now and almost crawling! We started soft finger foods last week and she absolutely loves food it’s crazy. Her favorite thing right now is banana which we just mash up for her. Cayden’s also doing great! He’s been going to hockey with us at least once a week and then has his own lessons with my nephew which has been fun to watch! He’s really into coloring right now which is so sweet. He’s always asking to color a picture for his mama or sister. He’s still asking on the daily to get them flowers too even if we have some haha! He’s just so sweet and I love it. He’s still a mama’s boy and loves doing anything to make her happy ❤️ he tells both of us he loves us only a million times a day which is the sweetest thing and honestly as a parent the most rewarding thing. He’s so appreciative of everything and loves fully. We have our moments that’s for sure, but for the most part is just incredible and it’s so fun to have him at this age. He’s super aware of things and wants to be involved in everything which is cool because I’ve always wanted to have a little best friend and I do now. He also loves hanging out with his cousin Super and asks to go see him every other minute of the day haha! Anyways, the kids are both doing amazing and so are Laura and I ❤️ Laura’s been taking some well deserved time off from music and has been planning next year. She’s planning a tour right now and we’re both working on finishing up some wedding stuff for next year as well ❤️ her birthday is coming up in two weeks and we’re all going to be in Mexico for it which I’m excited about. She’s performing down there a few days before her birthday and then we get to celebrate her the rest of the week while we’re there. But she’s doing absolutely amazing, we took time off as you all know, to go to Italy last month and it was super refreshing. We finished up the house, for the most part at least, and traveled a little bit while we were there. We’ve been going on dates together at least once a week and it’s so nice to be able to spend time together. Not that we don’t usually, but we don’t get one on one time through the day with the kids which is totally fine but it’s nice to be able to have a night to ourselves as well ❤️ Laura’s still been writing songs, despite taking a little break from music. We’ve been writing together too which is something we’ve always done but it’s always nice to be able to do it together ❤️ She’s also been working on a project I can’t share about yet but I’m super excited for her and I can’t wait until we can share ;) but anyways, we’re all doing great. Just taking it day by day. Life has been a little slow these days but I’m soaking in every moment because I know the days are long but the years are short and right now I just want to spend every moment I can with my wife and our kids.

A “friend“ of mine who would always try to prove me wrong and would expose the secrets I trusted her with back when I was younger. I’d always be the one who would initiate hang outs and would introduce her to new songs but then she’d flip the script and say that she was the one who introduced me to a new song that I happened to recommend to her first. Idk why she always tried to go against the things I’d say and/or prove me wrong (even when I was right) when she could’ve tried being nicer and actually acted like she cared about me enough to not expose the things I trusted her with. She recently unfollowed me on social media and I returned the favor by unfollowing her back. She didn’t help me grow as an individual and I could’ve gone without having met her and it wouldn’t have made much of a difference for me. However, she did teach me the lesson that not everyone you talk to and see regularly is capable of being a good friend to you and I’m grateful for that :)
