I lost my job bc of covid and the friends I thought I had from work completely quit speaking to me. I also thought I had a friend on ask (not you) but now I'm not sure about that either.

i'm sure you know this already, but ultimately at the end of the day, the only person you can rely upon is yourself. if you know your worth, then the right people will gravitate to you eventually. you'll find a new job, get along with new coworkers, and things will fall into place.

Hi! Old poser Sabrina created this time UN MackenziFoy_Christine. She posted your old pics both from IG and another Ask.fm UN. Now you know why I forced you to create this UN to ensure I'm talking to real Kenzie ;)

Hi! Thanks for letting me know. I’ll be speaking with my mom and Meredith. We’ll be looking into what to do with this account that’s causing problems and posting old photos.

Have you ever been the valedictorian at your graduation ceremony of high school, college or university?

No. I would have been paralyzed with fear to speak in public at that point in my life. Now public speaking comes with ease if I am talking on a subject that I have a passion for.
I believe that is key. If you are given a subject, told to write a 3,000 word speech on it, and deliver that speech in front of 1,000 people who you know, it is natural to have fear in your heart.
But if you are asked to deliver a speech on a subject of which you have knowledge and passion, in front of 10,000 people, your task becomes incredibly easy.
Familiarity is the key.

Is English an easy language to learn?

I’m always amazed about how some non-English speaking people have learned it to such a high level. In fact, in the Scandinavian countries as well as the Netherlands, the average level of English is truly astonishing. In some cases it’s actually hard to tell they’re not native speakers.
After having taught myself Spanish to a reasonable level, I can say with certainty that English is a very forgiving language - It’s possible to make numerous mistakes in a single sentence and still be fully understood. That’s certainly not the case with Latin language verb structure. It also simplifies on other languages by dispensing with object gender and consequent adjective agreement.
This leads to far less thought required to say basic sentences.

In what ways has your perception/way of thinking changed from being single versus being in a relationship? :P Is there a level of growth there, when two people are involved in thought? Or do we sometimes have to individualize our own thoughts, to not lose ourselves?

Coolio247’s Profile PhotoJustine Coolioness
"In what ways has your perception/way of thinking changed from being single versus being in a relationship?"
not much, actually.
"Is there a level of growth there, when two people are involved in thought?"
yes, there is definitely a level of growth. 😄
"Or do we sometimes have to individualize our own thoughts, to not lose ourselves?"
yes to this as well. maintaining your sense of individuality so important in any relationship. be it a platonic, romantic, or familial relationships, setting our boundaries and staying true to yourself should be a priority.
I would never want to lose my identity or sense of self due to peer pressure or influence from a person who is close to me.
there was a conversation I had with my best friend (of eighteen years) over lunch sometime ago. I wanted to say something, but I simply listened first. we were speaking about our roles as individuals and family members. she said, "I'm trying to find a way to combine the both..."
I was instantly shocked at her words. after asking her why, she clarified,
"so I'm less confused about who I am as a wife and who I am as an individual."
if I had the emotional energy back then to argue my point, I would have said,
"you are you. why try to combine who are as a person with who you are as a spouse? yes, there are overlaps, for sure, but at the end of the day, the longest relationship you have is with yourself.
only God knows when the person we love most will leave us, and if we will be reunited with them in the hereafter. yes, a spouse is essential in guiding you during your journey here on earth, but ultimately, what *you* do as an individual will decide the rest.
I wouldn't amalgamate my identities as one just so I am less confused. in fact, I might be more confused! but then again, I am me, and you are you. so take that how you will (insert name of best friend here)." 🤷🏻‍♀️🖤✨

How good are you at speaking and writing English Language? 📖

I think it’s pretty good! I know I occasionally make the odd typo or grammatical error on here, due to not fully paying attention or proof reading my answers. In terms of where it counts, I have achieved high academically primarily through my writing :)

describe the feeling you get when you finally talk to the person you love; 💬💕

nurbzee’s Profile Photonurulhuda
Safe, comfortable, and cherished. Speaking to my partner feels like coming home after a long and tiring journey - It's that sense of familiarity, that warmth that comes only from knowing you are completely safe with a person, and that you can be your truest self around them.
