How many bathrooms are there in your house? For how many people?
funny fact - last year a friend made me watch twilight in movies' night, and in Bella's words, like, "what the fuсk, only one bathroom?" we literally laughed out loud. Very loud. Louder and longer than most normal americans. We both have siblings, and we even discussed it - like, imagine how great it would be to have my own one! (no more morning lines!)
Maybe it's an asian thing, but I've never lived in a house with more than two bathrooms. Even more than one. My grandmother has a quite big house, and my parents are building some - there are three bedrooms and only one bathroom.

What is the greatest film series in your opinion? Book series?
Book Series, The Shining & Doctor Sleep. I don't think it technically counts as a series but i'm saying it anyway lol
Movie series, I don't think i've even watched any other than The Hunger Games and Twilight. And Twilight sucks lmao so ig Hunger Games.

Twilight ságu jsem nikdy nečetl. Filmy jsem viděl snad až v dospělosti, a jakkoliv oceňuju jejich ohromnou kvalitu špatnosti (znám jen extrémně málo médií, co by měly horší dialogy, režii i takřka všechno ostatní), rád bych se zase jednou věnoval tomu, jak kurva skvělý Hunger Games byly, protože jsem si na to nedávno vzpomněl.
Jejich premisa byla na svou dobu neskutečně odvážná. Doslovná antiutopie cílená spíš na mladší publikum? Sociální nůžky mezi tou největší bídou, lidmi, co nemají co jíst, co umírají na choroby a pracovní zranění bez zdravotní péče, co si většinou nemůžou dovolit ani hygienu, a lidmi, co žijí v přepychovém blahobytu moderních technologií, co zvrací, aby mohli sníst ještě víc, než zvládnou, co hledají jenom rozptýlení a zábavu? Ty pyčo. Svět, kterým otřásla jaderná válka, ale nedošlo ani tak k vyhlazení lidstva, jako k vyvolání apatie vůči násilí? Celkově to odlidštění od utrpení bylo na roky, ve kterých Hunger Games vyšly, neskutečně nadčasový - a přijde mi, že se to čím dál víc ukazuje.
Úplně nemluvě o tom, jak absolutně ocelový koule Suzanne Collins měla, když tam zasadila i myšlenky stylu "každá revoluce nakonec nutně musí sežrat i své vlastní děti", protože to byl neskutečnej, neskutečnej rozdíl oproti většinovejm příběhům a jejich "zde je jasný boj jasného dobra se zlem, dobro zvítězilo a účel mu vysvětil veškeré prostředky".
Nevím, jestli budu někdy schopen odpustit, jak se filmový produkce k Hunger Games postavily. Protože představovat tuhle vidinu mrazivé budoucnosti jako "příběh nešťastné lásky", nebo v konečným důsledku příběh o jakékoliv romanci... bruh. Ne. O tom ty knihy nebyly. To bylo to, na co se ta dystopická vláda snažila celej ten příběh hnát, jen aby nemusela připustit, že se tříští její domeček z karet. Funny how that works.

When my parents were in their late 20s they had a house and a car. I’m in my late 20s and I don’t even have a chair to my name. Isn’t that sad?
I lived with my parents until I was 24 years old and when I finally moved out in 1978 and rented an apartment, I was broke and could not even afford a full size bed, so my wife and I slept on a single size mattress for about 6 months until we could afford a full size mattress. And to add insult to injury, my wife and I both had bachelor degree's from reputable colleges and we owed about $100k in student debit. Yet, we persisted and never lost our faith or hope.
My wife was pregnant with our first child and I enrolled in an engineering degree program while working as a janitor on 3rd shift for Motorola/Codex which was a high tech modem manufacturer. After 2 years I worked my way into a technician position earning about $18k/yr. Slowly I climbed my way up becoming a technical instructor and eventually a network engineer earning $120k/yr.
I am now retired, but work 30 hours/wk as a janitor in our local high school to help pay the bills, and I am 70 years old.
Looking back at my career, I smile thinking that I started out as a janitor and in the twilight of my years, I am still working as a janitor. Talk about irony, right?
The point I want to make is that we are not victims. You and I have the ability to reason and to set goals for ourselves that are both reasonable and achievable. However, our goals can only be attained with blood, sweat and tears. I am not going to say too much about my life except that I never lost my faith in God, my family or my own innate abilities.
For example, when my wife and I got married, nobody thought we would last 5 years and 42 years later we are still in love. My wife earned 3 degrees (a bachelor and 2 masters degrees) and I earned a degree in music and another degree in engineering. And during my life, not once did I blame my family or society for what I did not have.
Why? Because my father taught me: "son, you can achieve whatever you set your mind to achieve as long as you are willing to work for it and put forth the effort, you will eventually succeed." My father was 100% correct.
Not only did my wife and I procure and excellent education and pay for it with our own money, but we raised 3 children and over the years built 4 houses and renovated 3 homes to earn extra money, plus we were active in our church music ministry and my wife competed in swim meets while I performed music on weekends in various bands.
Remember, we only live for approximately 70 - 90 years, which in the grand scheme of things is but a brief moment in time. And so we really do not have time to waste worrying about people or things that we have no control over, right? So it seems to me to be common sense to concern ourselves with the one thing we have 100% control over.... our own thoughts, behaviors and actions. And since thoughts precede actions, if we are unhappy with an outcome or our current position in life, then we must alter our thought process and establish realistic goals and objectives.

It's something you have to do. You don't have any other option.. As for how? I don't know.. All I know is that lately I have been transitioning between both phases very fluently.... It's all about that person the aura the company and vibe...But sure the moment it's over you wakeup like you do after a lucid dream.. A little disoriented and confused with your head kind of spinning and your body not responding well to......!!!

Despite really not liking the movie... kinda like in Twilight, I'd reside in the forest away from people.

Yes. I just decorated my Christmas tree. I have a bunch of Wizard of Oz Ornaments and Bella and Edward from Twilight. My favorite ornament is the Toto dog from Wizard. It's one of my favorite movies since I was seven.

Tenía bastantes planes y fiestas a las cuales ir, pero terminé por cancelar todo ya que me encontré ocupado toda la última semana, quería salir con mis amigos, disfrazarme y echarme a ver las películas de twilight para reírme un poco con alguna chica linda. Lo que realmente hice fue dedicarme a comer dulces mientras hacía unas cosas que debía entregar.

Twilight hat einiges der besseren Version kaputt gemacht. Hattest du die Reihe dennoch gesehen?
Ich hab damals die bücher verschlungen und bitterlich geweint,als er sie im 2. Teil verlassen hat. Ich konnte mich so heftig mit Bella als Charakter identifiziern. Aber leider hat die Filmversion, angefangen mit der Besetzung, alles kaputt gemacht. Die Autorin wollte eigentlich ursprünglich Emily Browning (eine meiner Lieblingsschauspielerinnen und in meiner Größenordnung) als Bella besetzen,aber sie lehnte ab. Und auch die anderen Besetzungen fand ich echt schlecht gewählt,außer Alice.
Welche Serie sollte ich als Kerl unbedingt geschaut haben?

Hah no, I have started it!! Luckily that didn’t actually take too long, but it was worth doing as I don’t have many brushes!
I think I’ve spent a few hours on it now, but it should be ready to paint when I get home later, from work!
It’s a redo of a painting I did a few years back, about Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams. So there’s some symbolism with the opium poppy, as well as wanting to paint it resembling twilight.
It also fits really well with a gallery open call I found, based on the theme of a secret garden/enchantment, etc. 🔮🌿🌸
