This is an interesting ethical question because I don't celebrate nor acknowledge Australia Day - at least not on January 26. That is the Day of Mourning for the Indigenous population of Australia, and Australia Day could be moved to literally any other day and still have the same meaning, with a lot more Australians willing to celebrate (which should be the goal, anyway: a day for every Aussie, not a day for division).

Therefore, if the date were moved I would probably accept the award, but I'd likely turn it down if it were awarded to me on January 26. I don't care how pathetic or petty that sounds to (racist) white Australians, either; reparations will always be more important to me than an award for the good I've already put into the world, and I don't want recognition if it's a shiny distraction from real world issues.

Yaar idk I don’t have a specific list but I do have the tendency to dislike people without any solid reason, like they just don’t feel like a good person even if they’re not doing anything wrong. For me there are many subjects that I consider taboo i.e. religion, politics, Covid vaccinations, climate change, woke cancel culture, globalism, progressive liberalism, Marxism, Catholic Church, abortion, sexuality, gender, homosexuality, LGBT, race, white supremacy, indentured servitude, Critical Race Theory, Capitalism, the pandemic, crime, justice, history, the law, the environment, abortion and much, much more.

I refuse to discuss any of these topics on Social Networks because, in my opinion, the "woke cancel culture fanatics" lack the intellectual aptitude and emotional stability required to debate without resorting to screaming, name calling or insulting their opponent. And in the end the "woke warrior" will not be persuaded or enlightened, nor will they ever change their opinion or even acknowledge that it is healthy to debate opposing ideologies and points of view. And so in the final analysis, it would be a waste of my time attempting to educate someone who is unwilling or incapable of comprehending alternative opinions, perspectives and thoughts. I would rather talk to an inanimate object, such as a rock, than waste my time attempting to reason with anyone who rejects reality based upon facts, science, evidence and reasoned observation, experimentation and analysis.

The first party I attended was a halloween party. I was in the 6th grade and my band was asked to perform. We dressed in black. The problem was that we had recently formed our group and only knew 5 songs. The first set went great and everyone had a good time. However, during the second set we had to repeat all 5 songs but used the excuse they were requests. Unfortunately, one of the foods being served were sugar covered donuts.

Within minutes our beloved audience decided to use the band for target practice. And by the time our gig was over we were covered with white circles. To add insult to injury, upon arriving home my mother looked at me and said: "son, they didn't much like ya, right?" To which I replied, "no mom they loved us, that is why I'm covered with sugar."
And mom being the proverbial wise guy said: "well at least their aim was accurate." "Very funny mom, stupendous, hilarious! You should be in a circus, I hear they are looking for a clown. Goodnight!"

I have an assortment of photos and quotes. My favorite photograph is a black and white photo of the Golden Gate Bridge as it was being built. I enjoy all type of architecture including bridges. Unfortunately my camera does not do the original photograph any justice. Please take a moment to note the sequence in which the bridge was built. The average person might not pay much mind to such detail, but whenever I visit the Golden Gate Bridge, I am impressed by it's design, the precise engineering, the immense effort that was expended to design and build the structure and finally, it's inherent beauty. In my mind, the Golden Gate Bridge is architecturally brilliant and is a masterful work of human ingenuity, blood, sweat and tears. It is a testament to the good that humans can imagine and then achieve once they set their collective minds to work together for the common good.
