It's been 56 years since I visited here with primary school ~ and our eccentric head teacher told us the story of Red Cap Soulis , with great animation . . . . Now I'm back in the the Borders we must visit again ~ THANK-YOU !

Your worst nightmares could never conjure up a place as demonic as Hermitage Castle. It broods in desolate isolation amid some of the eeriest countryside imaginable. The warmth of a summer's day rarely penetrates its sullen bulk. Creepy corridors and cold stone staircases meander between the moss-clad walls of its ruinous interior, the very fabric of which seems imbued with a genuine ambience of menacing evil.

Most famous of all the castle's bygone residents was Sir William de Soulis, who owned it during the reign of Robert the Bruce. Historically, Sir William was arrested and executed for plotting the assassination of Bruce so that he might be crowned King of Scotland. Legend, however, has chosen to bestow a far more dramatic end upon "bad lord de Soulis." Tradition maintains that this thoroughly evil individual was a practitioner of the Black Arts who kidnapped the neighbourhood's children and used their blood in his sinister rituals, during which he would conjure up his demonic familiar, Robin Redcap. Eventually, the local people petitioned King Robert, begging to be relieved from the scourge of their wicked lord.

"Boil him if you must," replied the king, "but let me hear no more of him." Taking his words literally, the locals stormed the castle, wrapped de Soulis in lead, and plunged him head-first into a boiling cauldron. His ghost now wanders the castle, a malevolent spectre whose nebulous meanderings are often accompanied by the heart-rendering sobs of children echoing along the crumbling corridors. There is something strangely indefinable about this place, as if the malicious forces harboured within its vast, impregnable walls resent your presence.

Wie auf Pinterest zu sehen ist war der working title von Ray "Dave the magical cheese wizard" aus nem video über namen von tieren in tierheimen lmao. Also war Dave der erste Name. Da er 1973 geboren ist, wollte ich schon etwas klassischeres, da er aus Texas kommt. Seine Mum ist zwar schon eher progressiv, weshalb es nichts biblisches sein sollte, aber eben trotzdem etwas unübliches. Ich war dann zwischen Rayford und Raymond, fand dann aber das Raymond das weniger große Übel wäre, die gute Frau wollte ja nichts schlechtes für ihr Kind und das es der Name von ihrem Opa auch sein könnte. Und da Raymond kein geiler Name für ein Kind oder einen Teenie ist, wird er schon immer nur Ray genannt, was auch ne ganz nette Verbindung zu seinem Dad hat.

Morrison ist sein 2. Name, benannt nach Jim Morrison, dem Sänger von the Doors, die ich sehr gerne höre und die auch zu der Zeit ziemlich bekannt waren. Viele von deren Banger kamen 1971 raus, also auch ca. die Zeit wo sie Apollo getroffen haben könnte und his mum is a lil hippie garl, weshalb sie es sich sicher nicht nehmen lassen hat ihren Sohn nach einem ihrer lieblingssänger zu benennen hehe

HP & LOTR! The film about a boy wizard was released in 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣1️⃣. In the same year we could see "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring". I remember there were advertisements for these two films on TV. Scenes from the films were combined into one video, and at the end the time and title of these fantastic films were indicated. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even find it on YouTube.

in diesem bereich gibt es einige ideen, die ich gerne mal umsetzen würde. am meisten fesselt mich jedoch die Idee eines Trainees, der als coda (child of deaf adults) die ganz zeit in einer position ist, in der er einen traum lebt, den er nicht so mit seiner familie teilen kann, wie er es gerne würde. ansonsten wäre da noch die idee eines weiblichen trainees mit ausgeprägter alopecia, der immer perücken trägt und große angst davor hat, dass das an die öffentlichkeit kommt.

fandom: harry potter
hier würde ich sehr gerne mal etwas zur w.a.d.a. (wizard academy of dramatic arts) machen. in dem fall ist die idee jedoch weniger ein oc-konzept, als eines für eine ganze story. mehr kann und will ich aber noch nicht verraten, zumal ich nicht weiß, ob aus dem projekt überhaupt mal irgendetwas wird. ansonsten sind es im harry potter bereich eher die mmff-settings und die faceclaims, die mich auf ideen bringen. nutzen würde ich sehr gerne mal das fc ‚berta castane‘. sie gibt mir so schön abgehobene vibes und ich hätte richtig lust, mal einen charakter zu basteln, der wirklich so ist und nicht nur eine mauer aufgebaut hat, um sein inneres zu schützen.

A handsome but unreliable prince moved on and off stage, but never stuck around, so the Good Princess Fairy Glinda was always alone in her heart of hearts. After hundreds of years of protecting the Munchkins, she had grown used to the loneliness and having no other family of her own. One day a great man came and asked for her hand.... saying - I know I am seventy two going on seventy three and you look only about twenty seven... but.. how about it? All I can offer is legitimacy and descendants. Glinda frowned and thought - then replied - but I am hundreds of years old in my soul.. how long do you think I've been looking after these munchkins? You're way too young and immature.... definitely immature ... so the Great Man went away.... and Glinda remained famous for looking after the Munchkins and turning away suitors.....so she was never really lonely. All's well that ends well.
