I enjoy a great many things, far too many to list in a single answer as a matter of fact. But of the top of my head, some of my favourite things include: Writing, baking, road trips, live music, the little “mrrrp?” noise my cat makes when I call his name, the smell after it rains, that feeling when you get so engrossed in a good book that you lose track of time, finding something beautiful in a place you wouldn’t expect to, and pineapple on pizza.

The list of things I dislike, meanwhile, is considerably shorter. Love tends to come more naturally to me than hatred. Some of the things I don't particularly care for are as follows: Writers' block, any loud or crowded environment that isn't a concert or a gig, people who write annotations in the margins of library books (rude!), baby carrots (don't ask me why but they freak me out), buzzing insects (they also freak me out), and AI "art".

It depends what type of rejection it is and what you mean by ‘embrace’.
I think ‘accept’ or ‘understand’ rejection would possibly be better terms, though you can also learn from it.
Since my first attempt at getting a book published in 1984 I’ve had hundreds and hundreds of rejections from publishers over the years.
I filed them all in submissions/response folders and kept a note of who gave useful feedback.
One well known fantasy agent said my work was “nicely written” and recommended submitting to them again; Salman Rushdie’s agent said my writing was “very intelligent”. These tiny passing comments almost made the rejection worthwhile, whereas places that would just send a brush-off letter or a rejection slip probably meant your submission hadn’t been read.
I don’t know if this means I was “embracing” rejection, but writers usually see it as a natural part of the job.
Tolkien had LOTR rejected 25 times before it was eventually accepted by G Allan & Unwin; I’ve never tried to be that persistent with one publisher!
(Of course these days with digital POD, self publication is an increasingly common option.)

When I was at school, we studied Pushkin, Turgenev, and other various Russian writers. We still had a lot of bullying in the class, because there were children who were fans of the Soviet "Yeralash". But in “Jumble” and Soviet cartoons, in principle, they don’t teach anything good. This is all Russian propaganda, as in the cartoon about Julius Caesar, telling us that democracy is bad (when Ukraine is a democratic state), that freedom of speech is bad. Yeralash teaches you to insult and humiliate others from a young age, so in our class we often had bullying from classmates.

We had a lot of new presidents until Zelensky came to power, and it was he who fundamentally changed everything in Ukraine. Before that it was a real mess. This whole gang of leaders who were presidents and deputies had connections with Putin. Especially the owner of the Roshen factory all over the world, Poroshenko, here he seems to be going to Europe, but here he communicates with Putin and surrenders Ukraine.

At school we were asked to teach such garbage that it was simply brutal.Instead of preparing students for the European Union and forcing us to learn English,we were given the history of Muscovy,a bunch of poems by Russian writers and poets.Now tell me how Russian writers have been useful to me in my life,and what good things have they taught us?

You know, Shevchenko also told us that it is better not to have anything to do with Muscovites. What are they doing now? that's right, war. Because over the years, a Russian-speaking population has formed in Ukraine, and they came to “save” this population.

HP & LOTR! The film about a boy wizard was released in 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣1️⃣. In the same year we could see "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring". I remember there were advertisements for these two films on TV. Scenes from the films were combined into one video, and at the end the time and title of these fantastic films were indicated. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even find it on YouTube.

Some fans still confuse the actors. D. Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter and his colleague E. Wood, who played the role of Frodo Baggins from The Lord of the Rings. Many viewers mistook the actors for each other. I agree, they are indeed both “short, pale, blue-eyed, brown-haired men,” but they don’t look alike at all, even like their younger and older brothers.

JK Rowling's creation is reminiscent of the work of John Tolkien. These novels are the fruits of the remarkable imagination of the writers and, accordingly, one franchise was inspired by the other. Looking at them in the same time period, you can notice some similarities.

Hi! As a writer myself, it depends on the work requirement. When I'm writing news articles online, what I do is I search for interesting topics for pitch but then, bago ko hintayin ang approval ng editor I make sure na 'yong source ng info na kinuhanan ko ay credible. Importante 'yon. Kapag approved na, what I do is I write a simple guide on my notes: title, introduction, middle, last part.

For fiction writing, I do research. Hindi p'wedeng pure imagination lang. After research, I also watch films. Ang technique ko sa fiction writing (novel), dapat may simula at wakas na 'kong naiisip. Dapat solid na para insert na lang ng connected scenes kada chapter. Important din ang outlining. Sobrang nakakatulong. I was able to finish my novel this year after almost a month and a half. Haha. Sa schedule naman ay keri ko anytime basta isang chap per day para hindi clouded utak ko at makapag-pahinga.

I have writer's block on my main story. The last thing I wrote was chapter 12 of Is this Hell? I'm not a fan of the word limit on here. So annoying.

You walked into the store unnoticed. Well, you thought you did. You had only been in the comedy section for a few seconds before you felt like you were being watched. For a brief second you thought it was Billy or Stu, but when you turned slightly around you were met with the smirk of Steve Orth. You almost did not recognize him at first. His hair was styled, and he was wearing jeans and his football varsity jacket.

Ignoring his crowd of friends, he focused his attention on you.

"What do you want, Steve?" You said bluntly.

For a split second, Steve looked startled, but he covered it up quickly. "How do you know my name?" "We went to school together, Steven. A long time ago. Two shades of red appeared high on Steve's cheeks. "Drop the act, you do not have to be a bitch." he commented.

Steve's jaw dropped. "What did you just say? he hissed. You shook your head in annoyance at him and started to walk away when he grabbed your arm harshly. Your head snapped in his direction. "Hey, I'm talking to you!" You fought to control your emotions, to find the strength not to rip his head off. Then you heard him chuckle darkly then leaned towards you and whispered. "I could make you feel so good, baby. I bet that is why you are being so mean."

You looked at him in surprise. "Is that so?" you asked. He released your arm and a grin spread across his face. "Absolutely," he spoke.

You looked at him with a smirk. "One: I am not interested in sleeping with you. Two: You are a disgusting excuse of a guy. And three: The very sound of your voice makes my vagina run as dry as the Sahara Desert.

"You...bitch" Steve shouted.

You simply gave him a smug smile, "Did I hurt your little ego?" He stormed past you seething with anger out of the store, his friends following him.

You slid your sunglasses down over your eyes and walked over to your group of friends. "Hey, guys. How is it going?" Randy's eyes snap to mine and I see his body visibly stiffen. Sidney purses her lips like she is deeply uncomfortable and does not know what to say. My eyes glance towards Billy and Stu and I see they have their eyes trained on the door watching Steve. "Well, I will go first, Tatum says. "What was that about? Why did Steve Orth call you a bitch?" You shake your head, a smile growing across your face. "He was doing a poor job of flirting with me, and then dared to ask me to hook up. I told him I was not interested."
