> Why are so many people online against talking to children? I always see on here and other socials people with things like “adults only” “18+ only” “minors do not interact” “no minors” etc. In their bio. No, I’m not a child, I’m a whole adult. Just curious

"Death Of The Soul" by Alex (Part 2)
Now before the reader accuses me of being paranoid (which I am) let me state unequivocally that many men I work with (young and old) behave the same way. Why? Because we know that if a woman makes a false allegation against us, our life is over. And this is why many adults refuse to associate with teens and other young people unless other adults are present. It breaks my heart that we live in a world that is so perverted and corrupt, but that is our reality. It is what happens when God is rejected and the soul dies.

Why are so many people online against talking to children? I always see on here and other socials people with things like “adults only” “18+ only” “minors do not interact” “no minors” etc. In their bio. No, I’m not a child, I’m a whole adult. Just curious

"Death Of The Soul" by Alex (Part 1)
There are many reasons why adults are afraid to associate with young people and much of it relates to the numerous crimes and abuses that adults have perpetrated upon our youth over the years and centuries. The list is long so I will only mention a few:
- Priests molesting young people
- Teachers having sex with students
- Parents abusing their children
- Wealthy people like Jeffrey Epstein arranging for young girls to have sexual intercourse with politicians, millionaires/billionaires, businessmen and world leaders.
There are many more documented cases that I could list, but you get the point I am making. As a result, society has demanded that our children and young people be protected by law and that these laws be aggressively enforced and adult perverts be punished.
Other contributing factors are the "Me Too Movement," pervasive groupthink and victimhood movements, the LGBT+ ideology and a belief that whatever alleged victims say it must be true and therefore the alleged perpetrator is "guilty" and must prove his/her innocence. These combined forces have made many adults nervous and fearful of false allegations because we understand that if we are wrongly accused of a sex crime, it is likely that we will lose our family and friends, our employment and all of our assets. In addition, there is a high probablity that we would be found guilty and sent to prison.
A friend of mine who was a prosecutor and is now is a successful defense attorney specializing in sex crimes, told me that 80% of the men imprisoned for sex crimes in the state where he practices law are, in his opinion, innocent. And he also admits that the judicial system, our media and our society believe that if a man is accused of a sex crime, he is guilty and must prove his innocence.
I would challenge anyone reading this essay to talk to an innocent man who has been falsely accused of a sex crime and ask him if he was treated fairly and assumed innocent until proven guilty or if he was instead, treat like a criminal who must prove his innocence? I could provide more graphic detail of what I am talking about, but I have said enough and hopefully you understand the point I am making.
My son is a director of Music and Arts in a well known private high school and to protect himself from false allegations, he had the school install video cameras in his office and bandroom. Students are only allowed to meet with him if other adults and students are present and the doors are left open. In my private life, I teach guitar lessons and require that a parent be present at all times to protect myself from false allegations. And whenever I am in the presence of women (young or old) I always ask my wife or daughter to accompany me and if they cannot, I will not attend the event. (cont)

How do you choose to get around? 🚗🚲🚶🚄

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
Hi Tobbe. How I get around depends upon what I am trying to accomplish. If I am writing a poem or composing music, I prefer to get around using my imagination and creativity; however, if I am in the mood to exercise or view nature, I prefer to walk. Driving is my last resort and it is something I enjoyed when I was a young man, but now in the autumn of my life, I drive my car only when absolutely necessary. Luckily, I live in a small city with spectacular ocean views where 90% of life's necessities are within walking distance from my home.
* note: photo is a boardwalk located amongst the mangroves. It is one of my favorite places to walk and explore with my dog princess.
How do you choose to get around

Oh yes, definitely. Playing an instrument involves a lot of commitment, so I'll be excited to hear about your updates 😌

When I was young I use to practice 4 hours a day. During high school I had my own rock band and we performed every week. After high school I graduated from a music school but performing was inconsistent so I went back to school for electronic engineering and worked many years as a Network Engineer and played music as a hobby on weekends, but my love has always been music and specifically music for the guitar. So now, God willing, I want to return to my roots and spend most of my time playing my guitars and the music I love.
Have a great week. /Alex

When’s the last time you did something for the first time?

inktomy_pen_’s Profile Photopeanut
An excellent question. I am almost too embarrassed to answer it because I haven't learned any new skill or attempted anything new for a long time. Most probably it is due to laziness and the fact that objects like myself tend to remain at rest until an opposing force causes it to move.
I started to learn how to play a chromatic harmonica a few months ago. Let me say this, the older you are, the more difficult it is to acquire new skills. It's damn frustrating. And I still have a banjo sitting there waiting for me to attempt to learn a few simple songs to amuse myself. Of course I don't expect to ever perform live with either instrument, but I am more curious to see if I even have the capacity to learn a new instrument at my age. I already play Bass and Guitar and understand functional piano, but those instruments I learned at a young age and now I simply pick them up and play, but the harmonica and banjo are like different universes to me.
Not a great answer, but a truthful one none the less. Learning a new instrument is tough!
Thanks for the question.

I've seen the world, done it all, had my cake now
Diamonds, brilliant, and Bel Air now
Hot summer nights, mid-July
When you and I were forever wild
The crazy days, city lights
The way you'd play with me like a child
Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?
Will you still love me when I got nothing but my aching soul?
I know you will, I know you will, I know that you will
Will you still love me when I'm no longer beautiful?
I've seen the world, lit it up as my stage now
Channeling angels in the new age now
Hot summer days, rock and roll
The way you'd play for me at your show
And all the ways I got to know
Your pretty face and electric soul

All I have ever wanted was to have my own family. It doesn’t matter what I do because when girls look at me and see a f***boi. I just want a genuine connection with someone. I’m in my 30s now and idk what to do.

Live your life doing those things that give you satisfaction and stop worrying about what females say or do. Also, you need to know the attributes that you are looking for in a woman. If you want to meet a woman who is kind, humble and giving, you might consider working with disabled children or a homeless shelter or some other work where people actually care about those among us who are less fortunate.
When I completed college at age 25, that is precisely what I did. I worked at a state run hospital for the disabled and an angel appeared. And the truth is that I wasn't even looking. I simply started a Music Therapy program and scheduled music programs for the young adults.
So I encourage you to simply live your life and become a "good deed" doer and eventually, when the stars align, you will meet a woman who is compassionate, giving and who truly understands the meaning of love. Be patient and passionate with your work and hobbies.

Would you have moved to a big city when you were in your 20s?

I think the ideal is being in a smaller city nearby a big metropolis. Like Cambridge / Boston, or Oakland / San Francisco. Far enough away that you don't feel crowded every time you leave the house, but you still have access to the jobs, nightlife, dating scene, etc of the big city. It's definitely overrated to pay a premium to live downtown somewhere that's super busy. Noise is constant, crime is higher, there's always some bullshit going on on the street, traffic sucks. If you're going to do it, do it while you're still young... the older you get the lower your patience for dense city living becomes. Find a mellow neighborhood with a good pub and a local bakery instead. I lived in a few larger cities in my twenties but in hindsight putting down roots in a smaller town earlier would have saved me a lot of time and money. With that said I had a lot of good experiences and gained a lot of experience working in a more competitive environment that I carried with me making the smaller city experience a breeze by comparison.
Living in a city was okay for a year or two, but afterwards I really just wanted to leave again. Too much constant stimulation, too many people, not enough nature, I couldn't stand it. I thought moving to a bigger city would help my dating and friend prospects, but if anything it was tougher because my manners and values were too different. Honestly I still can't stand city-native type people, idk what it is but 90% of the time they strike me as so weird and off putting. But I did meet my gf there (who's from the sticks herself), so that part worked out.
I moved from a small town to a bigger city a few weeks after I turned 18. Loved it, still love it, and would highly recommend giving it a shot even if for only a small amount of time. If you don’t like it, do the fun stuff and bounce after a few years. If anything you’ll appreciate your small town that much more. For me, being in the middle of it all is better than space and tranquility. But there’s not right answer and I self aware enough to know that I might not always feel that way.
Hell no, I've always hated Chicago, even the nice areas fucking suck to live there. Too much shit going on, no parking, and everyone acts like assholes. It was only a 20 minute Uber to go out and party over there anyway so its not like I missed out in my early 20s. My friends were always dragging me out to the bars and clubs at that age.
I know alot of people that do it for a social life. I had a good one while being in the burbs. Only trade off is I have to drive everywhere with the exception of some pools, a shopping area (with food, grocery stores, pharmacy, and gas in it), and woods/the river.

Do you have a favorite movie?

Yes, there are several films that I consider to be my favorites. The genre that I enjoy most are romance films. I especially like character development and those emotions generated as two people fall in love and express their love for one another. And when the script is well written and the music consists of enchanting melodies and beautiful harmony that creates a romantic mood and aspires to ignite a meteoric flame that burns brightly and convinces the audience that love does exist and that love is beautiful, magical and worthwhile; those are the special moments and scenes that satisfy the soul and leave the heart wanting for more.
My favorite romance film is entitled: "Somewhere in Time" which was released in 1980 and was adapted from the Novel "Bid Time Return" written by Richard Matheson.

This film features:
+ Christopher Reeve as Richard Collier
+ Jane Seymour as a young Elise McKenna
+ Christopher Plummer as William Robinson
+ Susan French as an elderly Elise McKenna
+ Director: Jeannot Szwarc
+ Music: John Barry
+ Film location: Mackinac Island, Michigan

In countries like America, the birth rate has decreased a lot. In Europe, people have stopped marrying. The same thing has started happening in Pakistan. Do you agree?

That's so true. There are many reasons behind that. First is that people are immodest and can not get easily satisfied, they want what they see online or in showbiz. Second, feminism and stupid gender equality talks which have ruined young minds and distracted them completely. Third, no Islamic regulations.
I personally know 3 people who are blessed with a lot Ma Sha Allah but they don't like women anymore. It's because of what they see. Just a pretty face doesn't matter. To live a life together, you need character and a lot of other essentials. But no, public is not ready for this debate. The so called modern people don't know how to keep a marriage intact and stay committed.
Pseudo Islam (partial Islam) is a flop idea.

Why do so many young people complain about back pains? I see people in their 20s complaining their back hurts. What are they going to do in their 50s

Still be in pain. Pain isn't an age related thing, especially when a lot of young people will have done labour-intensive jobs that will cause joint and back pain and there are also genetic traits passed down that can make people prone to joint and back issues 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well if I'm an abuuser then you should probably move out. I mean you're an adult and shouldn't live with someone who you think will abuuse you *Uno Reverse card*

tbh, my back pain started in my mid-20s after i began working, lol. first i worked in retail where i was on my feet all the time with no rest, then i started working office jobs where i was sitting still in one spot for hours on end. it isn't healthy, unfortunately.

The possibility of time travel. Here’s my plan: arrive in the late 1800’s because I want to see the Chicago World’s Fair. I would cash in everything I own now for gold and bring it with me to buy property, invest, and use for currency. From Chicago, I want to go to visit two particular ancestors. One on my maternal side, they lived in Connecticut and owned a bakery. From there, to Ohio to meet my paternal ancestors who almost all died young of tuberculosis. I would smuggle back vials of vaccines to prevent this. Darn the consequences. Can’t decide if I would try to prove I was their great great great great granddaughter from the future or just jab them in their sleep with the vaccines. My mind works in strange ways. Lol

Has anyone ever led you on?

Indeed. It was one of those situations where they kept giving me enough to continue being interested and every time I was trying to let go, they'd find a way to keep me around even tho they never followed through. Oh the joys of being young and naive 😅

Do you think it's possible for a young woman on askfm to fall in love with an anonymous man because she finds his writing intriguing? Why or why not?

Yes I do believe it is possible to fall in love with an anonymous person. And not just a young woman, but anyone looking for intellect, depth, kindness, human warmth or romance, rather than a simple physique. I will not talk about specific personal experiences except to say that each response of mine is a projection of myself and therefore of all my experiences, thoughts, feelings, hopes and dreams.
So how is it possible to fall in love with someone you have had no physical contact with and whom you've never met? Because someone's mind touches our most sensitive fibers, without even having to lay a finger on us. It's called connection.

I always hear stories from my parents and grandparents about their love. My Father took my Mother on a cruise to propose her. Why don't young people still do these things? No one’s ever took me on a cruise. Why is romance dead. I want to experience what vintage love is, like my ancestors.

You really think expensive gifts or trips are all that romance is? So nobody took you on a cruise, do they show up for you? Do they remember the little details about you? Do they hold your hand in public because they're proud to be seen with you? Do they compliment you when you aren't around to hear it because they genuinely love you? Do they drunk text you because even when they're out having fun, you're on their mind? Do they stay up all night talking to you because they enjoy your company? THAT is romance, THAT is love. Not money. You could have all the most expensive gifts and get cheated on and heartbroken. Money means nothing.

Do you think a relationship with a older woman and a younger guy can work? Close to 20 year age difference?

I suppose anything is possible but I personally wouldn't bet any money on it. Older women no doubt like the energy and infinite libido of the young man but.... older women (and older men) are set in their ways and can be very demanding and controlling. I suppose if you like the motherly type and you want to be told what to do 24x7, then it might be worth the time and effort, but if you are independent and career oriented, I would walk away and interact with women from your own generation.

it just blooms…
and i know …. feel how he🕸❤️ loves me….
❤️🔥❤️
and guys…. if i were you i wouldn’t be proud….
when woman or girl have past …. or have easy virtue (sometimes big past )
and it’s not absolutely matter if they are rich or not …. with name without name….
you need ask them about certificate of the absence of sexually transmitted diseases…. before you says your yes…. how you wrote in your question
especially if they are not young….who knows with whom they were in their youth….
and the young too ….need to ask ….
i think you talk about young girls….
but i wrote about all ages
and not “drawn “ by someone real certificate
maybe this way you will save yourself from all sorts of bad diseases….
and i’m not about that poor women who officially work like that ….
i’m about girls who you did say yes
you have only one life….
God, i really don’t like write such things….
because i’m not in it …. don’t even think about things like this….
in my heart head absolutely another feels….and things….
and you know i known these basics things since my childhood …!!!

⠀⠀⠀A beautiful sunset just happened, and there was a crowd of people (mostly men in expensive suits) around such a renowned place that shone in all its splendor, just like the reputation of being the number one cabaret in Sotenbori.
Nova's presence began to captivate too many glances, although luckily for her someone seemed to have been waiting for her arrival.
⠀⠀"...You're Nova, right?" with all respect to her and a gentle smile, a young man in a waiter's uniform now walked beside her, ready to guide her way. He had been given the task of welcoming a woman with fiery red hair.
⠀⠀"Please come this way, miss," he requested kindly, leading her directly to the double-doored entrance.
It was a different world. Filled with jazz music, a huge amount of people laughing and enjoying good company with quality liquor, such an elegant and meticulous setting, striking to any eye, amazingly spacious and two-story, long red carpet looming in the center... every detail was mesmerizing.
The young man would soon guide her to a seat near the musicians' stage so that she would have a good view of the entertainment. Even the padding on the seats was so comforting, and the accompanying tables beautifully decorated.

Lay down your arms
I don't wanna fight anymore
Rough seas will be calm (will be, will be)
Hold on while we weather the storm

We fall down like dogs playin' dead
Well, our love's not worth playin' chicken with you

I'm not discardin' you like broken glass
There are no winners when the die is cast
There's only tears when it's the final task
So don't give up, it's just young lovers' romance

*She actually laughs at that* "Yeah well I inherited a high alcohol tolerance from my mom, so it takes the hard stuff to actually get me drunk. Though you certainly aren't the first to worry about me. I'll be fine, I appreciate the concern though."

⠀⠀⠀❝Is that so..., huh? Hard to believe coming from a young girl like ya. Nobody would believe you're used to it.❞
The one-eyed man gently slapped the bar, detaching his body from it. A strong drink for him was enough. And before he braced his legs to get out of the fuss, Majima gave her a nicer smile.
⠀⠀⠀❝—Still, things get dangerous in excess. Don't drink too much, Nova.❞

Czy łatwo wyznaczyć granicę między „young adult fiction” i „dorosłą” literaturą? Czy należy?

domstarcow’s Profile Photoperikarion
Poza skrajną perfekcją i uzdolnieniem wielowymiarowym bohaterki.

⠀⠀⠀He just responded with a silent sigh, slowly looking down at his glass which he drank in one go.
⠀⠀ ❝You have my thanks, but don't waste your money like that. I could pay it.❞ Majima would soon give him a discreet glance from above and below; noticing that she was young in age like the rest, probably assumed that she was a foreigner, might have a strong personality under a pretty face... however, there were physical details that aroused curiosity more than the flaming color of the hair. Pointy ears, red lines marked on her face and neck? It was the most extravagant thing that his eye has discovered today.
⠀⠀ ❝Never seen ya around here before... New in town? What's your name?❞ He asked just to create casual conversation. He didn't want to allow her to feel attacked or something similar because of a bad temper.

Sexual education/ awareness needs to be taught at schools..or atleast at some level

Vharax’s Profile PhotoVaghar
Since the sex education known in Western societies makes it lawful for any young man or woman to fall into the abyss of adultery, it becomes incumbent on Muslims to inculcate their sons and daughters with proper sex education as shown by Islam and the rulings of Allah regarding such susceptible and delicate matters.

Unpopular opinion...

Hassantariq7’s Profile PhotoHassan.
And then I felt sad because I realized that once people are broken in certain ways, they can’t ever be fixed, and this is something nobody ever tells you when you are young and it never fails to surprise you as you grow older as you see the people in your life break one by one. You wonder when your turn is going to be, or if it’s already happened.

Why girls don't like nice boys?

When you're young & naive you're attracted to bad guys because they seem exciting & unpredictable. Plus you wanna be the heroine who *fixes him* lol. When you get older you realize that life is already so chaotic & at least your relationship should be drama free. You also realize that you don't want to *fix him* because he's not a child. Plus that was his mom's job, not yours anyway.

Why are young millennials (26-35) so obsessed with work, making money, hustling? The gen Z'ers (those born after ‘97 )seem to be different in that perspective.

It's actually the opposite. We have never seen so much unemployment by choice as now.
