Do you have any allergies / things you can't eat? 🤔😅

There are many things I can no longer eat due to digestive disease, at least, not without consequences. They’re not a true allergy. Beans and legumes, high fiber grains, fibrous meats and vegetables. The one thing I can recall actually breaking me into hives is crawfish.

Who is your favourite artist?

It’s impossible to name only one artist, but fun fact: I’m a Certified Bob Ross Instructor (retired) and I’m wearing a Bob shirt as we speak. 👍🏼
I like many, many artists, though. A few that come to mind are James Hance, Susan Harrell, and Akiane Kramarik. I also like some of the classics such as Monet and Van Gogh. My appreciation is fairly diverse.

At what time does it usually get dark where you live during this time of year? 🤔 Here in southern Sweden it goes down at like 3:35 pm, up north it's even worse 😅😂

Oh my that’s early! It gets dark at 5pm here. I’m a good bit south of you on the northern Gulf of Mexico.

If you were to get onto a battlefield taken from a fantasy movie and you could be any mythical creature you wanted, what'd you be and why? 🤔 How'd you fight as said creature? 🛡⚔

I would be Falkor the luck dragon, chasing the enemies away. :)

What is your favourite attribute about yourself???

I’ve never been materialistic. I know what it’s like to have nothing. I don’t need or envy anybody else’s “stuff”.

If you had the option to adopt a baby fox or a baby koala, which one would you choose and why?

Both are cute and fuzzy. Hard choice. I guess I’ll choose the koala due to less maintenance. Vegetarian. Sleeps a lot. I can handle that.

How often are lying in bed doing nothing, while you had a lot of other plans?

I’m stuck in bed often. Muscle disease doesn’t care about my plans.
But it’s not nothing to rest. Rest is the most important part of recovery.

what do you do in your life?

Can you be more specific? I don’t really want to give a play-by-play of my daily life.

What kind of movies do you most enjoy?

Adventure, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, History, Biography, Documentary, and a few Musicals
Not a big fan of the rest, although I do like a few feelgood movies with actors such as Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Sandra Bullock, Alan Rickman, etc. Mild romantic comedy is fine. Crude/erotic is not my genre.

If we had the technology to rewrite people's minds to alleviate mental illness, would that be an ethical thing to do? Or would it essentially strip us of ourselves, our individuality and identity?

This is a great question. I would choose to do it, as long as I knew I wouldn’t become an unfeeling sociopath as a result. I suppose it should be a case-by-case decision.

Who was the last person you gave a kiss?

One of my nieces, I guess. I kiss them on top of their heads. I don’t kiss anyone else.

How do you control you anger?

Not as well as I’d like. I’m in no way a violent person; not even close. But I do get upset and often hold it in until I’m boiling inside, then I speak my mind. My parents were angry and difficult people. I’m nowhere near their level, however, and I am pursuing therapy to make absolutely sure I never am. It’s not who I want to be.
Anger is normal, though, and must be allowed. We have to stop judging people for feeling anger. We are human, and anger is part of our emotional makeup. It is our actions that make all the difference. I’m pretty lethargic most of the time, but I have strong feelings about things that are important. I’m working on my reactions to those feelings, and I believe I’m headed in the right direction.
