Which do you think are more intelligent: cats or dogs?

I believe they are both perfectly capable of learning and understanding what’s going on. I don’t believe one is inherently more intelligent than the other.

Do you know what jicama is? Have you ever eaten it?

I do know what it is and I think I have had it possibly in authentic tacos, however I am not 100% positive of that. I have never purchased and prepared it myself, I can definitely say that much.

What happens when you reach your financial aid limit?

♡*:.。.ILLIN(*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡
I assume you’re referring to college. In the US you can only obtain so much and then you hit your limit. If you haven’t achieved a college degree by the time you reach that limit, you’re going to have to pay out-of-pocket, apply for scholarships, or you could take out a personal loan (but good luck with that). Otherwise you’re done, and in a very bad position financially. I know of someone who exhausted all financial aid to go to community college and she just kept going and taking classes and never got a Bachelors degree. She eventually ran out of funds and simply had to quit. That’s not a very responsible decision, in my opinion.

What's one activity that certain people like to do that you'd never see yourself doing? Why wouldn't you want to do it? 🧗‍♂️🏄‍♂️

To be honest I don’t do most things that other people do. I’m disabled.

What time do you usually wake up in the morning? Do you tend to wake up at the same time every day or does it vary from day-to-day? 😴 ⏰ 😱

Varies every single day

team Columbus Day or Indigenous People’s Day

Columbus Day is idiotic. He was a murderer and a pillager who thought he was colonizing India. 🙄 Abolishing the holiday is long overdue. If the Feds want to replace it with Indigenous People’s Day, that’s certainly fine with me.

What is your feelings towards gender reveal parties?

This is a great example of something that I recently changed my views of. I used to think they were really cool but after some gender education I realize it can be a bit problematic. I’ve never liked the pink versus blue thing (especially being a woman who prefers the color blue) however it’s just a party and probably should not be taken all that seriously. I think the biggest issue is that people DO take it very seriously and tend to go way overboard so the kid is bombarded with gender stereotypes at the baby shower that follows. I don’t care for parties to begin with and prefer not to participate (I would not have a gender reveal party myself if that’s what you’re asking).

what would you most like to offer someone?

Who that someone is matters quite a lot. Who are they and what are they looking for? I don’t have something to offer absolutely everyone, but the right people can expect me to offer friendship, moral support, and probably a few lessons in patience. 😄

What's one or even several stereotypes that people have of people from your country that you think are completely false? 🤔 Are there any that you feel are completely justified? Haha

False: a lot of people like to think that *everyone* who lives in the south is barefoot, toothless, racist, and uneducated.
True: there are *some* people in the south who are barefoot, toothless, racist, and uneducated, but they are (albeit, very slowly) dying out.
Things are going to be very different in this country when Boomers are extinct. There will be new stereotypes to assess.

In time of crisis what is the first thing you do?

KJay
I suppose it depends on the crisis at hand. I don’t necessarily have a default reaction to everything that qualifies as a crisis.

When you go grocery shopping, do you usually put a lot of effort in trying to get the best deals and such? In what ways? Are you good at sticking to what you came there to buy or do you wander? 🛒🍌🥫🍞

I’m bad about wandering when I’m bored but when I’m in a hurry I stick to the list.
