Sometimes. If you think this guy is really worth your time and you both really like eachother than yeah. I would wait. If not, I wouldn't wait.

i know it’s really hard. the guy i like totally doesn’t like me but i have to move on and i know it will take awhile but i have to. the longer i wait to, the more i get hurt whether it’s something rude he says, or how much more i will in the long run

I'm legit in the same position. I dont really want to wait in something that will never happen,so I've been trying to talk to other people but I always find my way back to him. I keep telling myself to move on.

yes, it is pointless to wait to be with someone. if he is aware of how you feel about him and that you are waiting for him until he is ready, in my opinion, he is making you as an option. if he is going around screwing other girls and those dont work, he comes running back. i may be assuming things, but no one is worth waiting for, as complicated as that phrase holds. but if he loves you like you love him, he’ll try to make it work, or go slow. just let him go, he will know he lost something amazing.

If he has no actual intentions of being with you don’t wait up for him, but if he just isn’t emotionally ready but wants to be wait a minute for him (why do you have to hide your feelings? He should at least be aware / reminded you care about him from time to time)

i think it’s pointless to wait because every minute you spend thinking about him you could spend with your friends or family, or doing something productive. time is so so precious
