I'm a bit disappointed to see Watchdog. came back, like he was just accepted and not put through the GA thing like Martyr is being made to do. I feel like they took a lot of liberties for themselves the last time they were part of BR for themselves and their bf as well.

Watchdog replied to my PM before the given time-limit was up, Martyr did not. I sent a message to all senior artists offering them a full-time position and Martyr didn't respond in time, therefore they have to go through the process like everyone else. ^^

Sorry if this is a dumb question: for the additional breeding slots there are add 1, 2, & 3 slot options each saying 1 per tolter. Does this mean each can be used once per tolter or that you can only add one of them per tolter?

This means that you can only ever use 1 additional slot voucher per Tolter. So, if I bought a 1ASV (additional slot voucher) and applied it my Tolt Bee, I couldn't also add a 2ASV or a 3ASV. It would be the same if I added a 2, I couldn't add a 1 or 3, if that makes sense. Only 1 set of additional slots can ever be added to a Tolter, and there must be a proof of purchase screenshot somewhere in their breeding list.

Is there going to be a summer event this year? If so, I'm curious as to when it would be expected to start if you have sorta that out yet.

There isn't going to be one this year, unfortunately. With all of the additions and changes being made, I thought it best to hold off on doing any sort of event until the fall or winter! So if an event is coming to BR, it'll be in October/December ;u;

I think the commissioning artists for breedings thing was a good idea, why did you shoot it down? If you don't take community member's ideas you're going to kill the species entirely, like you've already begun to do.

If people were allowed to "commission" artists to do breedings, it would be way to easy to bribe artist with large amounts of pets, C$, or DA points. We give breedings away freely to you all, (aside from occasional paid rounds, which are never expensive) and how ungrateful you are is saddening. It is a great thought, but in the end would not be a good fit for this community.
And as for me killing BR, if you really think so, please be my guest in taking you leave from the community. I am doing my best with the time that I've got to revive it and help it along, and I'm sorry that you think that isn't good enough.

Could the archive be redone? It's over 200 tolters behind and have several posts missing tolters or are incomplete. I feel like with new ownership BRT should get a fresh start since all the other threads had been revamped

We've got one being worked on right now ;u; I don't have it linked yet, as I don't want the other one lost until the new one is complete. There will be an announcement when it is done. Fawn is doing an amazing job at redoing it, and helping to get a lot of Tolter's renumbered!

Sorry one last question! How are floofs rolled? Is it similar to chimeric rates? I hope to get one some day so I'm just curious about how the breeding works for them. Thank you!!

It works exactly like chimerics! The same number of marbles are rolled, (1 blue for one floof, 2 for both parents) But you do have to have 1 floof parent involved in order to have that chance ;u;

On the challenge thread is there a way to get a floof Custom? Also would the auto pass one trait work on auto passing floof? Sorry if this has already been asked!

There is not currently a way to get a floof custom, no. Originally it was possible to use the auto pass item to pass floof, but they're becoming more common so that is going to change. It will be a roll-only trait, and one parent has to have it ^^

Hi vin (: I had a BRT breeding accepted over a year ago, but the artist hasn't been online in months. I was just wondering what I should do? Just wait probably, correct? Hope this doesn't sound rude or impatient, I really don't mind waiting ^-^

If it was accepted by someone other than who is currently on the staff list, it won't be completed and the slots are free to be used elsewhere. ;u;

@blazen / @vincent. 's account has been deleted so can their tolters be adopted out?

Unfortunately, no. We aren't able to adopt out Tolters from accounts banned/deleted prior to June 27th ^^

Is this group of GAs the only ones that will be considered for permanent staff positions?

No, every batch of GAs will be considered for permanent positions. I just wanted to use this current batch to consider older artists.

(2/2) Is there ever going to be a chance for someone like me? For someone new to breakthrough and try to make tolts for people? I know it's about skill but I feel a lot of skilled people constantly miss out because the same people can just go back and forth every other month as GA.

Hello there!
I understand some people are frustrated with the fact that most of the GAs for July have been around before. I had mentioned before I even opened GA positions that I would be hiring some of the old staff for July in order to give them a chance under my ownership to prove themselves worthy of being on staff full-time. I wasn't even going to open GA positions until August, but I decided that I wanted to give the older staff a chance now, instead of waiting until then. In August when new GAs are hired there will be no senior artists or Guest Artists involved -- it will be purely community members.
However with that being said, it will still be based on skill.

I just have to say I was excited to see new things going on around Bear Run and was very tempted to try out to be a Guest Artist. Thinking it'd be a fair to chance to actually get in but I saw that all the people who got in are pretty much the same that have already got in and done it before. (1/2)

Hey Vin. I know this has been asked before but I cannot remember the answer. For Bear Run Tolts if you have 2 foundation tolts and you want them to be related (sibling/half sibling/cousin and such) is that allowed or does that only occur with actual breedings? Thanks for your time!

I don't see a problem with that! If you so desire to make two of your Tolts related you are absolutely welcome to do so, they just wouldn't be blood relatives.
That being said, technically they can still breed together, however if you choose to make them related it is highly preferred that you don't breed them to one another.

Lately it's been just plain old hot chocolate. It has in the past been camomile tea, as well, in cold weather like it has been the past few weeks. (besides that weird 88 degree day we had on Saturday??) In the summer its definitely a Java Chip Frap.

tbh I'm super excited. Hiring artists will be one of my first calls of action, to be sure that we stay open and on track. I have a problem where I always want to open new species but never can keep them afloat because no one is ever interested :') So hopefully these won't be a problem!

Will you be opening an artist competition for the GWD? I'd love to try out and see if my style would look good on those lines <3

Do you think moderators and archivists will ever be given some kind of extra customs or payment (not actual currency, just within the species) for their jobs, at German Winter Drafts?

At this point, since he species is so small, probably not. Unless it's something like a semi custom or another thing along those lines, until the species is a bit bigger we'll all be kind of "minimum wage" x3
