I think, for me, a tattoo should have a symbolic meaning - it should be something personal.
I really want:
A treble clef - to symbolise how much music means to me, and has helped me through my life
A butterfly - as a literal salute to the Butterfly Project
And just things like that, things that actually matter to me.
But every one person has their own preference and ideas when it comes to tattoos. My mum has 2 roses, that are her and my dad, and four little flowers, that symbolise my brothers and I. She has a tattoo to represent our family, and how important we are to her, which I think is amazing.
My dad, on the other hand, had a tattoo of Yoda from Star Wars... Because he's just sad..
So it's up to the customer that's paying money for the tattoo, you just have to remember that tattoos are permanent so mistakes are something to try and avoid if possible:)
