We didn't get to see any of it today unfortunately, but do you have any info on Gengar's playstyle? What traditional fighter character would you liken him to? Smasher?

So like Gengar is like this:
Lowest health in the game with good reason: 510 HP Average is like 600 HP.
Has the only unblockable super in the game, that he can setup into after locking down w/ Frogadier/initial burst.
His shadow sneak allows him to go underground and avoid all 50/50s.
Hypnosis gives him free combo followups and is unblockable.
His shadow punch can attack from full screen to stop zoners.
His uncharged shadow ball is decent zoning tool, and the fully charged one is awesome after you knock down the opponent for added pressure.
He also steals the opponent's burst meter when he grabs them.
He can air dodge in midair, and his dash allows him to disappear and avoid moves.
He has an aerial missile attack similar to Luigi sideB, dive kick, and can summon an image of himself from the ground to punish opponent's that whiff.
In field mode he can go underground to avoid opponents and punish them for swinging immediately (this is different from shadow sneak, it's more like an image of Gengar on the ground.)
His block attack, and general normal attacks don't seem to have the greatest range which forces him to setup a lot of his pressure.
He's not a straight forward fighter, but with enough creativity you can make him a force to be reckoned with.

So what are your thoughts on the pokemon community and pokemon as an esport? Seeing as youre currently at worlds, I feel as though that's the best way to see it

Pokemon community is awesome, there are a lot of young children everywhere. It seems like everyone there is way more respectable and you see less people using foul language freely. It can definitely be considered a potential esport with the amount of people that invest time into the games. Pokken would be an amazing feat.

Do you see Pokken becoming bigger than smash bros? And do you think it will reach the level of popularity of games such as Street fighter, Marvel, Tekken, etc.?

Only time will tell, a community that can back it is the only catalyst to that.

Out of all the characters in Pokken, which did like the most and who will you main?

Gengar, he is the most challenging, and I also think he has the best tools out of everyone.

It can if we have a dedicated community behind it. Hopefully the console version is flawless for local play!

What personalities would your perfect woman have?

Goodness gracious, I go for a woman that is all about moving ahead in life. Loves to have fun, but at the same time knows when it's time to get serious. If her career is at risk because of a certain decision, she won't take it. I want a girl that is willing to take reasonable risks, and at the same time knows how to take care of herself. I love a girl with a sense of humor, that also has enough confidence in herself so I wouldn't have to remind her how amazing she is every second of the day. I would also love an optimistic woman that would understand that things in life do get better, and that it's not best to dwell on negativity.

What are Pokken's chances of becoming competitive?

They're great because it seems they actually have a team that is dedicated to pleasing both kinds of fans. There was already a rumored patch to fix Gengar ^_^.

If Melee HD was released to WiiU, what would you prefer -exact same game, improved graphics & sound. -significant balance changes, low tier characters buffed, stages reworked, etc.

I'd rather it were like the PAL version, improved graphics, and sound.

do you miss PM?

3.02? Hell yeah. Zero, K9, and myself always look back on the good old times. That was our fave Smash game at the time. MetaKnight will never be the same.

This question is for after E3. Who won E3 in your eyes? Which new games are you most excited for?

Sony, but like Nintendo still stole my heart at the booth. I played there more than any other booth.

Did you actually find out about Ryu and Roy before they announced it, if so how much in advanced did you know about it? It must have been part of the rehearsal for the event.

Haha, come on son. That's part of being in the industry.

So if you saw me at the bar at EVO and offered me a drink and I matched second round what would you buy me and what would you hope I didn't order ;) don't worry I don't put a bloody on just anyone <3

I'd recommend an Amaretto Sour!

I like to play several smash games competitively, and sometimes I'll be watching a stream and someone I really respect will say something negative about one of the games I love playing and it just discourages me so much from wanting to compete because I'll just be "that (other game) player" what do?

As a person who went through life dealing with people ragging on me because I was religious, slender, wore glasses, black, played video games competitvely, single in my late twenties, metrosexual (not gay), and so on...I recommend ignoring people. Life is actually so much better once you focus on you and the important people that don't bog you down with subjective arguments. Anyone who looks at things objectively and provides constructive feedback on a matter are the ones to keep around. Stay positive, and leave the negative nancies on the plateau that they'll never advance from.

Here's a question for you, and try to stray from the obvious "safe" answer as we all have to go thru this to achieve what we want in this world: What pain do you want in your life?

Shidosha: The Flyguy
The pain of dying single. The issue isn't that I don't have any opportunities, I just don't pursue them. I'm already desensitized from emotional attachment that can potentially lead to a real relationship. I'm too focused on the grind to care nowadays. It might be the only thing that can do me in at the end of the day.
