Are you happy where you are in life?
the other day i went to study at a coffee house, overhearing the barista's convo, made me rethink my life choices, that gut wrenching feeling of "i wish i didn't spend my years in medicine" don't get me wrong, i like and enjoy it for the most part, but at that moment a parallel world of possibilities went through my.head. so basically while applying to uni one gets exposed to the fact that the unemployment rates are skyhigh (even between doctors btw), and people make it seem that أرض الخلاص الراحة is medicine, but it isn't (wow surprise).
i think we are made out of who we are surrounded with. i wish i was exposed more to certain kind of people, who are different from me, those who are actively out and about. for me it was always the work of mind, but right now i am longing to a missed work of hands, and the experience that would have come with it. just how much do we waste from our life, with the excuse of having to study?
i really wish i applied to basic jobs while at the start of uni, it would have been manageable. it could have served as a valuable experience. oh well....
