I forgive fairly easily.
It may take time for the hurt to fade, and I may resent the hurt..
But I always forgive the person.
I try to empathize with them.. Understand why.
Even if I don't agree with their faulty thinking or actions I try to show them the same acceptance and forgiveness that I would like to receive.
Lord knows I've F'd up plenty of times.. I've also gotten away with a lot of stuff that nobody knows about.
We all make mistakes. Forgive yourself, forgive others.
