For the elections in 2015, who do you think is most likely to run for president?
I received this question about 4 months ago and didn't like my first answer. At this point I don't have much of a better answer. It's interesting that something so far away could ever be predicted, although there does tend to be a Grooming process within BUSU for most successful presidential candidates, so it's not entirely out of order to ask about 2015's presidential hopefuls.
The executive election season begins in second semester. Chris Yendt, VPFA 2013-14 and current Board member, and Kyle Rose, current VPFA, are expected by some to each make a run at the BUSU presidency. But Yendt currently has the 2 year seat on the Board so he would have to resign from that, and take some more classes, to be eligible for BUSU president candidacy.
Rose told me that he is focused on this year and if he does run his success this year would be his campaign for next. It seems a safe bet he'll be on the ticket in 2015.
