On what settings best encode Caps (megui) and what are the best for this filter?
The question of the best encode program got a joke answer. I just use a x264 mod, avisynth and a batch to start the encode. If you want to encode caps (ts-raws) you have to deinterlace them and filter blocking scene-wise in avisynth. To make it a little easier I use Yatta for it. You have also to freeze broken frames (e.g BS11 have a lot of chromaghosting near keyframes). If you can't freeze, cause of motion then you have to filter these frames. I use a lot of old filterplugins. So maybe there are better filter possibilities, that I dont know.
