Do you prefer to answer questions or ask them?

Answering easily. I find it a useful way to articulate things about myself that I might not normally think about or get a chance to. I usually feel like I'm imposing on someone when I start asking questions of them though, which is a weird pair of impulses to have in the same brain space.

If you were going to get a tattoo, what would it be and where?

I'm not sure how practical it would be, but the words "This Too Shall Pass" as a ring around one finger seems like something I'd totally do

Biggest regret?

My continued existence 1995 - 2015 :p
Honestly I couldn't pinpoint any single one. There isn't any one thing that I would say is the worst, rather than a series of hundreds of tiny things that all sort of cascaded in to me being the exact sort of person I hate. I'm definitely happy that I'm starting to pull out of that now though, even if I am still picking up the last few pieces.

You're stranded on an island, you have one item with you, what is it?

A live panda. I mean duh, come on people

do you or do you not believe in the idea of a single cosmic entity or are preference towards the pantheon beliefs of ages old?

I'm very much secular in my personal beliefs, but I do find religion incredibly fascinating in all it's forms, derivations, and interpretations. Human belief structures are so unbelievably complex and colourful, and they're all fantastic and beautiful when we're not using them as simply another excuse to do more harm.

do girls faint in your passing?

The problem with this one is I don't know exactly which self-disparaging joke to go with.
Oh the humanity.

If you had 3 wishes what would you wish for? more wishes aren't allowed

Another, better genie that will let me wish for more wishes :p
Let's be selfish, because world peace or an end to world hunger are kinda dull answers even if they're what I'd choose.
1) access to an infinite bank account that's never questioned or investigated by anyone else
2) selective mind reading, because I'm a monster
3) personal, easily controllable time travel.

If you had to live in the past as a lower class person, which time period would you live in? (Must be earlier than 1800's and not earlier than 3'000 BCE)

I see where playing the "make-Connor-research-his-answer-because-he's-bad-at-history-but-he-doesn't-want-to-say-something-stupid" game.
Let's go with 1269 CE, as a completely arbitrary number because study is hard :P
Let me know how hard my laziness just ruined my alternate universe self's life

If you were on a deserted island and could bring 3 things what would they be?

Practically, a knife, duct tape, and a book on local flora and fauna
In a world where all my basic needs were covered and assuming communication devices were cheating, a torch, a hand-powered generator, and my 3ds would cover an awful lot of ground

If you could only play 1 video game for the rest of your life, what would it be?

The one where I don't have to exist in this exceptionally dull reality?
I guess Persona 4 Golden or Dark Souls. Or Okami. Or Shadow of the Colossus. Or Besieged. Or Civilisation V. Or X-Com. Or Final Fantasy X. Or God hand.
What I'm saying is I'd probably die.

what is the meaning of life?

At 2:30 in the morning, I have never been more sure that all life is ultimately in service to the consumption of copious amounts of caffeine.

If you could go back in time to talk to yourself, what would you say?

Nothing. I'd just kick myself as hard as possible in the crotch, and hope the message is received.

Would you like to go on a date with someone you meet on the Internet?

Lllaaaadddiiiieeessss *waggles eye brows*
*ahem* Moving right along...

Do you think people deserve a second chance?

I think that really depends on the person and the situation, but when in doubt I'd prefer to live in a world where they did.

Do you trust people easily?

Sort of.
I try to keep a lot of who I am on the surface, so it's rarely an issue. That said, there's also a lot that I keep well away from the public eye, which I don't think I intentionally let anyone know, so... yeah...

Do you think that you’re a good person?

I'm sure as hell not good at being a person :p
Honestly, I don't know. I try, or at least I try to try, but ultimately I'm never quite sure.

What is the very last thing you do before you settle in to fall asleep at night?

I'd like to say read, but it's probably more like 'neurotically check my Twitter feed for some reason'
