I just watched the latest LRRcast and you mentioned Friday Nights and Commodore Hustle universes. Are these actually the same universe? Is the FN-Graham the same character as the CH-Graham? Or are these two entirely different characters in an infinite multiverse?

I don't even know anymore. I think they're the same? Are there things we've done that contradict that possibility? I honestly don't know.
Unless it's somehow impossible, I think they're in the same world—we basically write them the same.

I remember when I stayed in Canada watching this show called Red Green a lot. Have you watched any of it?

As a Canadian of a certain era, I have watched all the Red Green.

Any plans to do a SWS covering some of the meta wrestling stuff? Things like how the Usos, Rafiki, and The Rock are related, or some of the other wrestling families and connections?

Not a standalone episode, but we try to bring stuff like that up during the shows. In fact, we've talked about the Usos and Rikishi.
I'd say each episode has at least one diversion into wrestling history.

I keep hearing that Soldier 76 is basically the dad of Overwatch heroes. If so then how many dad jokes you think he makes?

I mean, he's called "76" for a reason.

do you guys plan on doing sidewalk slam on other platforms other than youtube to avoid takedowns?

Nope, I just had to adjust how we show footage. For PPVs I can only do still images—or verrrrrry short clips—to avoid the video being blocked worldwide.
I can keep using full clips from RAW, but then WWE still claims the ad revenue, so I might reevaluate and just use stills throughout.
Moving platforms is deeply unattractive because it fractures our viewing audience, and makes it harder to find our content.
Internet!!

Sooo, apparently, Taya Valkyrie (of Lucha Underground/AAA fame) is from Victoria, and pretty much your age. Could it be someone you went to school with? A possible guest for a future Sidewalk Slam? :)

It's theoretically possible but I don't recognize her real name from my high school. As for a guest on sWs, it looks like she doesn't live here anymore. Cool idea though!

Would you say that, in a sense, the LRR crew has become like family to you?

I think that's fair to say. I don't really see my non-LRR friends very often, so the crew ends up hanging out so much it does feel like a family at times.
It's a big part of why I work as hard as I can, to provide not only for my "actual" family, but also for everyone depending on LRR.

do they ever bring up the whole bit where stephanie and HHH are married because he drugged her and took her through a drive through chapel? or is that one of those story things that they try to not acknowledge anymore?

Oh. Oh no, not at all. They do not ever acknowledge that. I mean, for years they pretended they WEREN'T married, in storyline, and it only sort of slowly and organically got worked into the story as an open secret.
But do they reference the time HHH drugged her, kidnapped her, and married against her will in Vegas? They do not.
(for those unaware, that was all fictional and did NOT really take place, but was DEFINITELY a storyline they actually aired on television)

I have never watched MST3K before, any suggestions on where to start?

Personal favs: Space Mutiny, Final Sacrifice, Operation Double 007, Cave Dwellers, Mitchell, I Accuse My Parents, and This Island Earth (aka MST3K: The Movie).

Mara and I were wondering if John Cena was still around. Chat and Alex mention him a lot, but I haven't seen him on Sidewalk Slam yet.

He's one of the MANY talents currently out with injures.

So, about The Division: Everyone is saying that the themes are awful and racist. Yet you guys are buying and streaming it. Why? It tells game companies that no one actually cares, that they don't have to change anything because people will buy it regardless.

I actually haven't heard anyone declare the game as racist, but I'm not done all the story missions, so I can't personally speak to that. Would love to know more about that, if you have some insight.
I've been describing the game as "thematically fucked", but I don't think it's actively harmful. The story and themes are bizarre, laughable, unbelievable, and pessimistic... but I don't feel the game is inherently "doing bad".
Also, I didn't play the beta so I wouldn't know any of this until AFTER buying and playing it.
The gameplay is fun, but the story is deeeeeeeply flawed.
