Being a partner is a lot easier now, you don't need as much as you used to. I'd say you only gotta be in the thousands. Also, anyone is able to earn money from YouTube now; big or not. There's a monetize option beside all your videos which enables you to make money from all your videos! :3
how did you put up with being on youtube before you had subscribers? seems a bit pointless as i feel a fool making videos if no one sees them......
It does feel a little stupid but if they're enjoyable enough you'll get a couple people that pop along and if you build a relationship with them, they'll stick around :3

It depends what you were arguing about in the first place really, cos that's what you need to fix. It also depends on how long you've been arguing for, cos chances are if it isn't all that bad, it'll blow over. All the advice I can give is to do whatever you can to fix the problem.
