Yes, they do. When they first met human Utaus, they didn't understand how eating was... now they are quite gourmand (though the way in which they could digest food is unkown to me)

I don't know, but maybe I'd ask him for an autograph... written on the print of a "joke" about him :D I'm not a fan of him (I've never seen any of his films), but autographs can always be useful
