I guess there are a lot of things that drive my passion for rap. Since I was little I'd listened to rap music and I think I take a lot of inspiration from the artists I'd heard.
I love the art of creating rhymes. I love taking each word and syllable and fitting them together into a flow that exploits the properties of the beat I'm using. I like it to treating your voice as a percussion instrument.
I like the idea of expressing myself in rhyme form. Taking a message and turning it into music. Everyone, regardless of who they are, wants to be heard. They want people to hear what they have to say. Rap is a way for me to take my thoughts and put them out there in a creative way that I hope people will enjoy listening to.
