Ask @briannasomersham

What's the last book you read?

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. For the third time. I am re-reading all the HP books and then I shall move on to The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. (That's Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance for those of you who don't know.)

Who's your number one friend?

I can't say that I have a number one friend. I have friends, sure, but I don't count any of them above any of the others. I have equal friends. LOL

What’s the first thing you did when you woke up today?

Laid in bed for a bit then took a shower.

What is "dystopian?" Saw it on your website and by the way your ask.fm thing on the blog doesn't work.

Ah. Thanks for that. Sucks that it doesn't work, but oh well. /shrugs
Dystopian is quite the opposite of utopian. In a dystopian world everything is as bad as it could possibly be. It's often bleak and hopeless and the inhabitants usually suffer greatly. I'm assuming you read my tags on my latest post, and so for Only Human, the world has been riddled with a plague/outbreak that has rendered all female inhabitants, both young and old, with the inability to procreate. The world is in a frenzy, fearing the end of the human race is nigh.
So basically dystopian describes a world defined by despair, struggle, oppression, and lots of other things that are not nice. I believe The Hunger Games series is described as dystopian, as well as the Divergent series by Veronica Roth. I have read neither of those, by the way.
I hope this clarifies things for you and that I didn't confuse you further. lol

I get how one comes up with characters, but how do you get them to make you laugh?

You just watch them. They will get into situations that will make you laugh your head off.
