My absolute favorite is LOST! Like that show is just so interesting and it has NO PLOTHOLES. Probably the most well-thought out show in the universe, because all of the dots actually connect. It's reaaally interesting and fun and keeps you hooked all the time. And all of the characters are loveable! Like I just don't have a character in it that annoys me, I love them all. And the story is insaaanely good and chilling and beautiful!
Then, definitely The 100! The storyline is always interesting, I like the all the lead characters, and it's just fun. It's different, but soooo good.
I also love Royals (that's a new one and should be back in November for season 2), I'm about to start Fear the walking dead, but Walking dead is also a good one (though I feel like season 5 was a little dragged out and boring).
But yeah, Lost and the 100 are my top suggestions. If you want a mini-show there's always Eye Candy which is pretty good but it was unfortunately cancelled so there's only 10 eps.

Hmm, well I think the best way to get noticed is to do something different and original. Focus on yourself and improving your editing, and soon you'll notice a difference. Also, if you like shows like Teen Wolf or TVD or any other things that are popular in the vidding community, you should edit those because they will get noticed more easily.. But of course only do this if you actually like/watch the show and if you WANT to edit it xD Also, make friends! But don't like... Spam other vidders your videos, just try to actually talk to them and actually WANT to be friends with them. You can always also share your videos on tumblr or twitter, that can help. But yeah I'd say the most important thing to do to actually get noticed is be different, be yourself, and don't adapt to what others say is ''the must-way to edit''.
