Di you are really an inspiration to me i would really like to meet you and spend some time with you i adore you a lot ?you are damn pretty ?

i??? who??? what??

Hi! I have a question! How do you tackle lane conditions? What balls do you use and what's your favorite ball in your arsenal? What's your arsenal right now? Do you see yourself competing professionally and in collegiate in the future?

1) I tackle the lane conditions by either fighting it or just playing what it gives me. When I play what it gives me, it's because I'm playing my comfort zone. Fighting the pattern, I usually burn out a spot for me during practice to make my own line and to make my life easier. :) I also play around with my hand positions as well! It will give you various ball rolls and it will definitely help with transitions!!
2) Right now, I'm using Storm's/Rotogrip's balls. My favourite ball in my arsenal has to be Rotogrip's No Rules Exist! It's a super good ball and it's very aggressive. It rolls really smoothly and it drives through the pins super hard!
3) My Arsenal right now/what I own. I will list What I use and what I have.
- Using: No Rules Exist (RG), Haywire (RG), Sure Lock (Storm), IQ Tour Solid (Storm), ICE (Storm), Hy-Road Pearl (Storm).
- Not using often: Lock (Storm), IQ Tour Pearl (Storm), Pitch Black (Storm), Timeless (Storm).
4) Yes! I actually do. I see myself competing if I take it more seriously and put in more hard work. :)

i can't wait to see you at junior gold!! you're such a good bowler and I hope that you do well!! you never fail to amaze me! Your play style is brilliant and so is your mental attitude towards the game of bowling itself! :)

thank you so much!! I'm bowling squad 13 for U20 girls! don't be shy to come and say hi :) I hope you do well during Junior Gold as well! Good luck and high scoring!

bowling is a dumb sport... in fact it's not even a sport. You just throw a ball down a lane to hit 10 sticks. It doesn't take a lot of skill to knock them all down.

You obviously never bowled competitively before. Just so you know, it does take skill to knock down all 10 pins the CORRECT way. It takes a lot of skill and finesse to find the perfect angle/line to play on no matter what the lane conditions are. You've got oily to dry patterns, as well as long or short oil patterns. Throwing a ball straight up the middle doesn't necessarily give you strike, but a split instead.
Bowling in fact, is a very self reliant sport. Even if you're playing on a team, nobody is actually helping you. They can't fix your mistakes because they aren't throwing the ball for you. You're only trying to get the overall, most pinfall. You have to rely on yourself to stay consistent and shoot high. You have so much control of the ball until it is released from your hand. You could only do so much until that ball hits the lane.
Unlike any other sport, bowling is a sport that takes a lot of progress to get better. I've bowled for 11 years, and the only thing I can do is still get better. Basketball, volleyball, those sports seem to be more quicker pace, and I feel that you can get better at those sports faster than getting better at bowling. However, that is just my opinion. Because learning how to play and get better at basketball and volleyball didn't take more than 3 months for me to improve. As for bowling, it took me more than 1-2 years to learn how to throw the ball right. It took me more than a few years to have the form that I have today.
As for the progress, you constantly move up the weight scale of your ball; and you also change the ball that you're throwing. You get new balls that work differently according to whatever lane condition. Some balls are more aggressive while others aren't. In basketball, there's aggressive play, and less aggressive play; but you don't change your ball depending on how aggressive you're playing. You're just changing your play style. In bowling, you miss a shot, but threw it at your mark; that means you have to change your ball that will fit to whatever line you're playing. Basketball: You miss your shot, threw it at your line; but it bounced off the rim. you just have to fix your errors because the basketball won't magically just hit the basket. And that one line that you shoot within, it won't change on you in order for you to make changes or adjustments. If you're playing on varying weather conditions, i understand that part; but generally, it doesn't change oh so often like lines do in bowling.
If a ball hooks too much, you gotta move to your left and throw it a little bit more outside for your ball to hit that sweet shot. People think that every lane is the same, but really, every lane is completely different and they all vary from different conditions.
I think that professional bowlers should get more respect for what they do, because bowling is actually harder than it seems.
