I'm thinking on buying the same mic as you ( a bluebird). Can I ask you something?? You can connect that mic directly to a computer. I mean, It has a USB thing? Oh, and also, do you need something more than the anti-shock that comes with it, to put it in a table? You need to buy anything more?
Ah that's awesome, the Bluebird is a great, bright mic! To answer your first question, you can't directly connect the Bluebird to your computer via your USB port - you have to buy an audio interface and XLR mic cable, connect the mic cable to the interface, and then connect the interface to your USB port. I personally use the Scarlett 2i2 for my audio interface! As for your second question, when I first started using it I found it difficult to stand the microphone up on the table with just the antishock, so I use a mic stand with it! You can get them for fairly cheap and it definitely comes in handy, haha. If you have any other questions, let me know and I'll help as best I can! :]
