it depends because different photos can have different lighting. sometimes i don't even adjust the contrast. but for you lovely anon maybe about 1-2
What's yur step editing in afterlight n vscocam? If you don't mind me asking <3
i adjust the brightness/exposure/contrast then add the filter if i need it. it's really up to you! just explore the app. there's lots of great different tools that'll give you your desired edit.

hm it really depends on your picture. like i can't tell you what specific number it is lol. and it's up to you, your liking of how bright the pic is gonna be. but for me personally i usually go up to 2-3

thanks. :) mostly what i do is fix the brightness/exposure of the pic and then i go ahead and add the filter.
What filter do you use to edit yur pic love?
well i switch between vscocam and afterlight. for afterlight i use one of the "guest" filters, you try one of those and see if it looks like mine. :p and for vscocam i mostly use LV1 but every now and then other filters look nice too. so ya hehe idk
