Wen did u start getting into makeup

Hi love! I think I started getting into makeup at quite a young age. I always used to watch my mother put on makeup every day and would be fascinated haha. I started wearing makeup at around the age of 14 I believe. Just foundation, mascara and lip gloss really haha :)

I think it'd be different to the usual but great I love seeing people loving new products every month. I'm giving you so many recommendations you might be annoyed but one more lol is that a post on makeup staples/products that really work on you:)

No no why would I be annoyed! I love getting suggestions :D. That's a great idea thank you so much! I'll note that down too x

Are you sure your mac shade is nc40 I think that's way to dark for your complexion. Btw I wanted to know what's on your drugstore and high end wish list x

Haha no way! I'm definitely an NC40/42. I guess in my pictures I look lighter sometimes but I'm definitely not of a lighter skin tone. I haven't updated my wishlists in a little while but here they are:
Drugstore: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/registry/wishlist/3TJ4WC5LDSCA2/ref=cm_wl_rlist_go_o?

Can you do posts on a skincare routine everyday makeup routine some monthly favs and some products you didn't get along with. I would also love to see some of your favourite products to contour with! A lot I know lol but just some ideas

Girrrl don't you worry about that! I already have them in my list to do besides an everyday makeup routine but I'll note that down too! Thank you. I really appreciate the suggestions. The skincare routine my take a while however as I plan to review a lot of the products I use separately first, before I do a collective post.
I have been thinking about doing a monthly faves but I feel weird starting it in the middle of the year as opposed to the beginning of a year. What do you think? X

I have a hairy face. It's not thick hair but very dark, I use Jolen bleach cream to lighten the hair but still the hair is still slightly noticeable. Would waxing help or make it grow thicker and faster?

Waxing is definitely the better option. Over time, the hair will grow back less and also be thinner x

So I bought a gorgeous foundation but when I apply it's really hard to apply like it doesn't go on smoothly and it's a bit thick. How do I thin it out? Thanks xx

Hi love, sorry for the late reply! I would suggest using MAC Fix+ to thin it out and also applying it with a makeup sponge for a flawless application. Hope this helped x

What do you do to make your body one colour..I have the same skin tone as you but my elbows, bum, stomach and knees are 2 shades darker :( Any natural remedies or products I should use. Thanks a lot

Hey hun, sorry for the late reply! I have this problem too but I'm too lazy to try remedies for it tbh. Try to embrace the skin you're in!
The only remedy I've heard about a lot is using a lemon and sugar scrub. Lemon has brightening properties while sugar acts as an exfoliant to remove dead layers of skin and correct discolouration when used with lemon. Potatoes are also good for this too. Hope this helped!

Can you do a MAC lipstick collection with lip swatches please. We have similar skin tones so it would be helpful

I don't have enough MAC lipsticks to call it a collection haha. You could head over to Minara's (littlelondonblogger) page and see what her collection is like?

Heya! My hair is ridiculously frizzy can you recommend any good products to help tame it haha x

Hi there love. We're in the same boat then! Unfortunately nothing I've tried has worked wonder to be honest but I'll be sure to let everyone know when I find the miracle!
Products I have tried that have made a slight difference are:
-Palmers Coconut Oil Deep Conditioning Protein Pack
-Pure Coconut Oil
- John Freida Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Shampoo & Conditioner
- and Aussie Frizz Miracle Shampoo.
Loads of people have recommended the John Freida Frizz Ease Serums to me but to be honest serums make my hair greasy. I may try it soon but I dunno if that's something you want to give a go?
Hope this helped x

Hiya. Easiest brush and allows quick application for foundation? Rt expert face seems a bit small.idk I fell out w it. Have u tried any fat/big brushes? I'm not into sponges & things..lol & I wanna do my foundation easily n quickly :)

I would say the Real Techniques Buffing Brush. Really great for 5 minute makeup. Also, the Zoeva 102 Silk Finish brush is brilliant for really working the product into the skin quickly. Although my only qualm with it is that it's hard to get the product around the eye and nose area since it's bigger than usual foundation brushes. Sometimes if I feel like quickly painting my face I'll use my Real Techniques Foundation Brush, takes a bit longer though as my foundation can be left looking slightly streaky if I'm not careful.
Hope this helped!

Have you tried Laura mercies foundation?

I haven't no! I'd love to try both the foundation and concealer, heard great things about it. Have you?

Hun. How do u conceal blemishes or faded ones to the point they look pretty smooth and blended in with the foundation? I find that I conceal with the foundation I use it looks better n smooth, concealer just makes it obvious cuz it forms like some dryness n even the conclr color turns weird smtimes

Yeah concealer can often make discolouration or blemishes look ashy. I would recommend using a corrector. Green correctors are normally used to counteract redness i.e. spots or reduce the appearance of rosacea. Orange/Peach correctors are normally used to counteract the blue/purple tones which are often found under the eye or around the mouth. LA Girl have recently come out with correctors which are fairly cheap. Alternatively you could buy MAC Studio Conceal and Correct Duo which is on the pricey side at £23.00. Also, I would recommend trying to apply your foundation and concealer with different tools. After trying the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge/Beauty Blender I barely use brushes to apply my base. Makeup sponges add such a seamless touch to your foundation/concealer and if you want a more smooth appearance I'd highly suggest trying either one! To be honest, I like the Real Techniques sponge better, plus it's cheaper too!
Another thing you could do about dryness is maybe switching up your powder? I recently changed my setting powder and I find my makeup sits way better. I also find spraying MAC Fix+ over my face once it's powdered, helps to reduce the powdery appearance I often get once everything is set.
I hope this helped!

Hey girl.Do u go out with just foundation & a lippie alone at times? Like w/out blush/bronze

Yup! On days I can't be bothered but want a little coverage :)

I would love to see a pictorial of how you do your eyebrows!!

Yayyy I'll start working on it soon as :)

I read your blog post on the mac studio sculpt foundation and I totally agree! It's the first foundation I've even worn and bought and I'm not impressed. I don't wear foundation often but do you have any recommendations for combo skin thanks!

I know right. I was quite disappointed! I love Estee Lauder Double Wear, NARS Sheer Glow and MAC's Pro Longwear Foundation and I have combination skin. Hope this helps chick :)

I'm obsessed with the lip colour Kylie Jenner wears but all I know is that it's mac but not the shade. Do you know of any good dupe?

She supposedly wears MAC Whirl/Soar Lip Pencil. Colourpop Bound is a dupe for Whirl as well as NYX Mauve Lip Pencil and some dupes for Soar are L'Oréal Lip Liner in Rosewood, Avon Mystery Mauve as well as Colourpop Brink. Hope this helps!

Have you ever tried Huda beauty and ardell Demi lashes?

I've tried the Ardell Demi Wispies and they're really nice. They always make me feel very prissy when I wear them haha. I actually have Hudabeauty lashes but I haven't used them yet. Too pretty to taint :(

Does the benefit roller lash mascara add volume and length to your lashes? Do you think it's worth the price?

Yess definitely! I think it's worth the money without a doubt

I wanted a liquid eyeliner x

I've only really tried drugstore liquid eyeliners but Supercat Liner by Soap and Glory is great if you'd like a glossy finish. If you prefer more of a matte finish, the 2true liquid eyeliner is surprisingly good quality. I've also heard great things about the L'Oréal liquid eyeliners but I've yet to try them yet! Hope this helps x

Could you recommend any cheap eyeshadow palettes that compliment Asian skin tone?

I'd recommend the Makeup Revolution Iconic 1 eyeshadow palette. It's a dupe to the Naked 1 Palette which looks great on Asian skin tones :). The Makeup Revolution palettes are amazing. I'd recommend checking out the Hard Day Palette, Iconic Pro 1 & 2, Flawless, I heart chocolate, Naked chocolate and Welcome To The Pleasuredome palette. Amazing quality for affordable prices!

I wanted to buy a new eyeliner but I'm not sure what one to get! I wanted to start doing a winged eyeliner look but I've had difficulty in the past due to the eyeliner I've been using :/

What kind of eyeliner are you looking to buy hun? Gel? Liquid?

What do you use to fill in your eyebrows they always look flawless! X

Thank you! I only use Matte eyeshadow. At the moment I'm using a Matte Taupe and Black eyeshadow from the Makeup Revolution Welcome To The Pleasuredome Palette. I've nearly used up all of the Taupe shade now, well gutted :( I'm actually thinking of doing a pictorial of how I do my brows on the blog.. Let me know if it's something you'd be interested in!

Youre makeup always looks amazing!! You should defo do YouTube videos ☺️ X

Aww thank you so much! I hope to in the future :D x

Hiya! Love your blog I was just wondering if the Estée Lauder double wear foundation is good for combination skin? Also how much does it cost? X

Hey, thank you! I'm glad you do :) I would say it is to some extent. It tends to highlight dry patches if you're not careful. I have an oily T zone and some dry patches but it works great for me now better than before. I think that's mainly because I've been using sweet almond oil on my face and I've seen drastic improvement. It's £29.50 so quite pricey but cheaper than NARS and worth it! Hope this helps :)

I love your blog!!! Great fan but would like to know what foundation do you use on a daily basis? Your skin always looks flawless and not too much to wear for a daily basis ☺️

Aww thanks sweet! At the moment I've been switching between my Estee Lauder Double Wear and Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation for a daily basis. I'm not a maaassive fan of the Rimmel foundation but if you prefer something lighter, NARS Sheer Glow is amazing!

Hi, I wanted to say that I love your blog. I was wandering, what brands would you recommend for waterproof pencil eyeliner? I tried waterproof eyeliner by giorgio armani, mac and avon and neither have worked :/ I have sensitive eyes. Do you have any recommendations? :)

Aww thanks! I'm working on it at the moment.
To be honest I don't really use pencil eyeliner as it doesn't work well for me. However I recently found my old Bourjois Metallic Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner in Blue and it actually doesn't budge! You could try the Black shade of that?
Alternatively, Clarins and GOSH do one that is supposedly good. Like I said I don't really wear pencil liner as it always smudges on me. I do have the MAC Kohl Liner in Smolder but it's not amazing either :/

What's on your wish list

Oh honey, I could write a book about all of the things on my wish list.
A few of the things that have high priority on my wishlist is the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade, Too Faced Bronzer Wardrobe and the NARS All-Day Weightless Luminous Foundation.
What's on your wish list?

Most relatable and fave beauty/makeup blogs u follow/recommend?

At the moment I'm watching more youtube videos regarding beauty than reading blogs. However, my favourites are Onika from Onikabeauty, Minara from Little London Blogger, P from SkinFaceBeauty, Amreet from Fabuleuse Beauty, Zoe from Classic Rouge and that's all I can think of at the moment!

What shade are you on the Estée Lauder double wear foundation?

Hey love, I wear the shade 3W2 Cashew :)

Favourite colours to wear on your lips in the summer?

I don't really have favourite colours for summer to be honest, I love mixing it up all the time! I tend to gravitate towards more Nude colours and Bright Reds as opposed to deeper colours I suppose :)

Do you use liquid or powder foundation for everyday use and why

I always use liquid foundation because the odd time I have tried powder foundation, it just didn't look great on my skin. Although I have oily skin, too much of a mattifying base highlights my imperfections. My skin has also gone through a change recently and I have some dry patches so I don't think it would look any better on me than before D:

What does your skin care routine consist of?

I'm doing a blog post on this soon, I've been trying out the Dead Sea Spa Magik Exfoliant, the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm and Sweet Almond Oil for a little while now :)
Stay tuned for a post on it!

Top 3 products you use at the moment?

I'd have to say Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, MAC Studio Conceal and Correct Duo and Makeup Revolution Single Eyeshadow in Mocha Love for contouring. Loving them atm!!

How can you put your foundation on evenly by using your hands ? I always end up with some kind of patches

To be honest I raaarely apply foundation with my hands but when I do I just apply a blob on each side of my face, chin and forehead and just blend with my fingers. If you blend altogether rather than doing it section by section, it should prevent the patches as it's probably due to certain areas oxidising quicker than others. Hope this helped!

Omg sorry lol I thought you was at university what are you studying in college and good luck for your exams

Thank you! I'm studying psychology, sociology and philosophy

Hello! What do you study at university and how is it going for you

Hey! I'm not at university haha I'm at college, it's not going so well and I can't wait to finish my exams :D
