The members of the staff that are involved with the *actual creation and promotion* of the series are deeply (read: madly) in love with it. In many ways, trounce even me when it comes to understanding One Piece. SItting down to talk with them and realizing their attention to detail is mind-blowing. However, many of the major calls regarding the development of the series are beyond them. I can't say much but do know that the people creating it are dedicated to the series just as much as the fans are.
Hmmm....I dunno everything I wrote and I remember not being AS moved by her flashback (though I did love the connection of Jaguar being responsible for sinking the ships) but what I KNOW I didn't like was Robin saying she wanted to die. In fact, I remember *exactly* where I was when I first complained about that turn of events, that's how much it felt like a total betrayal of her character to me.
She's redeemed herself a hundred-fold, however, that scene in particular still doesn't resonate with me on an emotional level at all. Luffy screaming some sense into her, even if I didn't like it at the time, that I suppose I've come to appreciate.
Wow. Um...There are some I'm bound to secrecy on out of respect for the author and the team but the favorite one I can think of off hand is probably where 'Dragon Ball' (well, actually only 'Dragon B...') is written on a sign. Some of the others are stupid crap that I'm probably only the only person in the world who cares about, but stuff like prices, hidden names, etc.
Hmmmm....Difficult for me to answer honestly in public given my position but if you can read between the lines, adult fans, while certainly pleased by this exciting climax, are more than ready to move on with the story.
They're pretty standard wear, particularly for young kids in the summer in the country. Oda def. did it on purpose but I don't *think* it was in any way meant to be a tribute to Toriyama-sensei.
I know this is a place for questions and I welcome them all ^_^ But at the same time, considering my relationship with Shueisha, I have to be strict when it comes to certain topics. So as far as crewmate questions go, I have to resort to 'no comment' Orz Very sorry!
Strictly Japan? If so then, without actually having been here, my educated guess would be 'during'. It's not 'unpopular' now but I cannot imagine what it was like during its run.
『トリビアの泉』は神級に面白かった。昔、制作会社の方とおはなしする機会がありました。1回を撮影するのになかなか大変だったそうです。そう言う真面目にふざけてる番組がまたみたいな!

Yes, yes and yes. Can it afford to make one? No, no and no. I think we can all agree that the quality of the One Piece animation would increase substantially with some breathing room but with how precious ratings are these days and animation struggling to stay relevant, I don't think it will happen unless there's a major change in the heart of FujiTV and Toei to ignore ratings and go for the best product possible. That's not to say those in the trenches *making* it aren't doing their very best.
We asked quite a few! It was done fairly loosely but that was thanks to Mr. Shingaki's professional business sense which is to say, he never said anything that would cause trouble for the company. Toei was made aware of the interview and gave the go-ahead but there were no other representatives present. Basically, since Mr. Sasaki from Shueisha was overseeing the entire project, it was agreed that anything goes for filming interviews just so long as Mr. Sasaki and the One Piece editor had the final words. I truncated that process by being fairly strict with the edits of what would/wouldn't fly much to the chagrin of our editor Jose but he he was a great sport about it and understood the necessity to appease the graciousness Shueisha and Toei granted us by letting the project exist at all and thanks to that, although somewhat time-consuming, it was a relatively smooth approval process.
