Hi I am a freshman in high school and I really want to make varsity lacrosse this year. I play defense and I wanted to know if you could recommend anything to get my stick skills and my overall skills the best they could be before the season starts
Sure! I recommend lots of footwork, that includes ladders and shuffling. I've started this cone workout I can share if you'd like, I usually did it during club and its super helpful to have quicker feet and reactions. Play wall ball as well, watch lax games. ESPN has the championship online, watch Maryland's #5 Douty. Try to mirror what some of the best defenders do.
