Tough one... You have to consider. If he is gay, does that really matter? I mean like he is your friend. Just make sure he knows you're not and that way you hopefully won't be in another situation like that. But maybe he isn't actually gay, maybe, as you said he has a lot of testosterone and maybe he's a little confused and is just experimenting or something. I haven't been in a situation like that but, that's my view on the situation

I know exactly what you mean, I feel the same way around certain people. But really, it's normal to feel that way, most people are quite self conscious and anxious around others, I myself am pretty shy if I'm honest. But what I've noticed is that people actually don't seem to notice, and they feel it's a part of who you are, it isn't frowned upon or a bad thing in fact, the shy people I know all tend to be nicer and more friendly and everyone sees them that way. If it is bothering you though, you should actively try to be more open, even build stronger bonds with your inner circle of school friends and that way, you'll feel more natural around them. When you're more natural around them, you won't even think anymore about being more open with others. It'll be second nature almost :) good luck -D

We honestly get next to no questions at all. And although that may mean people dont need help. Lets be honest, to believe that is naive. We WANT to help as many people as we can and need your help! I've been through this before, it's most likely just a friendship group thing, soon it will leave from you and move onto someone else but if it doesn't then you should talk to one of your friends that has turned on you and ask him/her what's happened. If you don't want to do that maybe ask your crush? It will give you a reason to talk to them as well;) or maybe distance yourself from them and see if they say anything or talk to you about it. I hope it all gets better soon. We're always here to help if it gets any worse but stay strong and act like it doesn't get to you. I love you. E x

Its not always the popular girls that gets the guys. But before you tell him that you love him, get to know him a bit better, try build up a friendship before expressing your feeling towards him, because if he ends up being a jerk, you don't want to get embarrassed and feel rejected.. we all know how painful that can be. This is a very tricky one, but most likely yes, from what you've told me your best friend isn't really a true friend, and you should talk to your friend and tell her your not very comfortable with what she has been doing and that it hurts your feelings, she may not actually be aware, but is she really a best friend if she goes behind your back and hurts you? Talking to the guy you like may be very hard, as you are scared what they may think of you and if they will like you back as well. But what you have got to do is step out of your comfort zone and approach him, there is no use waiting around and keeping quiet or he will never know how you feel. Start off by asking some questions and listening to his replies, this will give you topics to start conversations with and will show your interested. Don't forget to laugh and smile and keep good eye contact so he doesn't feel as though he's boring you to death. Even throw in an appropriate compliment, and he might get the hint your interested.
