Not sure. It was never clarified as far as I am concerned. I think in an interview I heard he learned to play though.

Did Matt and Dakota broke up? because I've seen on one of the Dakota's interview she said she is single
She said in the interview she was but it could be because she doesn't want everyone knowing about her personal life. I know she and Matt are still very close especially with last week him having been liking all those posts about her new photoshoot for AnOther Magazine. =) They are close just don't know in what sense. But she seems happy so that's what matters in the end.
