Monsoon is 3500 per person. Feel it's a bit too much. Any other options?

U can talk to the makeup artists at any MAC store. Take them into confidence and ask if they also freelance. Their charges shouldn't be too much.

Wondering if u rec'd my ques: where to get makeup done for elder ladies of the family. Package for 3 days. Light makeup and hair. Inexpensive but good options. Even a freelancer newbie who can travel to venue/home is good. Appreciate the help

Why don't you give Monsoon Salon a call? If that doesn't work out, get back to me here or via mail.

I want to know the best places (shops/boutiques) in Delhi to buy an "economical" lehenga. Can you please suggest some...

Check out RAS (see details on my blog) and I can try frontier raas as well - they have a sale going on right now so you might get some lehengas for a good price.

Hi TDB, are u still taking questions? I need an agony aunt right now! A girl in my fiance's college who used to have a big time crush on him, (she is now married to another guy too), is coming to our wedding. I don't want that. My fiancé says I'm creating unnecessary issue. Thoughts?

Hey. Honestly, there could be a dozen girls who might have had a crush on your fiancé, how many will u exclude from the wedding list? Or from your life? In my opinion, it's not a big deal. And it should actually bother her coming to her crush's wedding, not u! Poor girl might not even be interested in coming.

from the statement about keeping calm, i would like to quote this (which was my whatsapp status for a long time) "Suffering from an expensive taste and low budget" :D night you lovely ladies, love shinjini :)

lol! Gnite!

arre! i mean i want to shop with you for the choices you have.. which will not eventually make my dad happy as i'll be a bridezilla spending away in one and everything! ;) I once read outside the door of a bride's room "keep calm and love the bridezilla".. gonna have it :)

hahaha! achha waise! :) Take me along, would love to!

the person who kept you name - GENIUS :D It was great talking to you, I love your blog Goodnight :)

how i wish i could make you my partner in crime (of looting my dad)! dude you're so good! *hugs*

looting dad? wait wait...yeh kab hua? kaisa hua?

you are sweet too :) BTW what does your name mean? *very curious*

sound of jewels...or more specifically, sound of anklets.

Thank u so much! :) you really are patient.

haha, u'd be the first person to say that to me! "Patient" - my husband will laugh when he sees this :)

i'm a consultant too and a bride to be as well.. travel is eating away all the trousseau shopping time.. :( (i made that statement of the ' monotonous corp job' )

ah! i had to pause all wedding planning for almost 2 months when i travelled for a project! take some time off from work to just shop. makes life easier.

Shinjini.. go sleep! dont make it hectic like those monotonous corporate jobs.. night :)

hahaha! but I miss those days! ;)

Do you have more time for yourself now that you're blogging as compared to when you were working with a professional organisation?

yes! and no! yes because I can wake up on a monday morning and decide - I want to cut my nails and put on a face pack, and I can! But no because I love doing this so much that I often end up spending way more time on the laptop than I should.

Hey, No questions just want to tell you that I love reading your blog and you are awesome :) and dude your name is so unique,

thanks dude! :) U r too sweet!

Any good wedding clothes stores in Gujarat (Ahmedabad / Baroda specifically) ? I haven't really seen any of recommendations from you for the Gujarat area..
