Thank you for the encouragement!! I said that ‘cause students seem depressed, and many more residents write very stressful and appalling comments about their life during residency which scares me. I got accepted and found people who told me to go for it but reading such things makes me doubt 💔
Most people complain about their jobs if you think about it , it’s not specific to being a doctor 🤓

I am so happy for you that you can find yourself in this noble and yet soul crushing field. I am confused and not sure if it is the right one for me..I love the subjects and I can find purpose in it but really frightened that studying and working never end and are so extensive. Any advice?

It’s very satisfying and extremely rewarding ... you’ll see ! Literally every thing you read will come in very handy one day , when you’re stuck in a room with a patient who’s deteriorating and a lecture you read an memorized so well in second year is gonna literally save them.
Don’t think that way ... if you’re in college we’ve all been there it can be too stressful and it leaves so much room for doubt.
But believe me you got there for a reason ! Not everyone is lucky enough to get accepted and not everyone is lucky enough to stay and advance ! Best of luck 👏🏻

I've been doing over months💔 I don't know why I am like this I hate me💔 all people double their work before exam but I give up....
I’m sorry , only saw this now ... hopefully you have passed your exams by now .... the best advise anyone can ever give you is to never compare yourself to others ! Do things at your own pace and the way it works for you don’t let them bring you down or throw you off everyone o their own way of studying.
Hello dr Any advice for a med student struggling out there💔 I feel super down and you know RCSI keeps throwing lemons at me everyday💔 I just can't keep up with the material there's so much to learn most of which are new information and I don't have much time left💔😔

I tried to make summaries and only mention the important points to make revision easy but I'm not good at this, I end up writing down all the lecture again but in a colorful/nicer way,, any tips to make summaries? or anything about feeling depressed when you only have 1 day to revise everything?💔

What semester was the hardest during you studies in rcsi
4th year , the whole year .. 😂 it wasn’t hard just personally found it very stressful
