hi! can i use some of my prompts that i submitted (that were dropped or unclaimed) to another fest?

So this may pertain to the question asked under me but I'll ask anyway. I help run a fanxing-fic blog and we have a prompt board writers can openly take from, would it be alright to repost prompts from this event that weren't used? Mainly lay/yifan and any/yifan? After the event is done ofc.

I believe we're going to give the prompters a chance to withdraw their prompts, because some people may want to save the prompts they submitted for another event or personal use. We could direct the prompters to leave their prompts on your board once the fest is finished!

Yes! We will not be keeping track of what is being claimed or written, however. You may use the prompts to your liking, even now. (If you manage to get something done before the 20th, go ahead and send it in if you'd like!)

12PM KST is indeed our set time for postings! We will not be posting on Sundays, however.

Hi! I'm really excited about this ficfest and I was curious how many fics you're going to release a day? :)

We're estimating we'll have about 80 submissions, so we'll be posting about 5 submissions a day, including fanfiction, fanart, fan edits, and fan videos! Posting lasts from November 6 - November 21, and we won't be posting on Sundays. So, there will be 14 days (2 weeks) of postings. Please anticipate!! We have lots of great things in store for you all. :D

Yep! Just follow the rules to submit on the submission post and you're good to go. :)
This goes for anyone else that has a fanfic, fanart, or fan edit that they wish to submit and missed the deadline!

Hello mods! I claimed a prompt with my twitter username, but changed my uname after I had given the claim message. So I use my new uname in my submission's header, but use my previous uname in the final submission mail (since I first claim a prompt with that old username). I hope it's not a problem?

hello! I'm in the process of submitting my fanfic now, but do I need to give on before paragraphs or should I just let them like as they are?

All you'll need to do is hit "enter/return" twice before the start of each new paragraph. HTML paragraph tags aren't needed.
For example, paragraphs should look like this:
"Example of a paragraph.
Example of the next paragraph."
Instead of this:
"Example of a paragraph.
Example of the next paragraph."

hi mods! Do I need to include a lj cut for my fanfic?

It would be much appreciated! If not, then we'll automatically use the first sentence of your fic as the lj cut text.

if the max rating is nc-17, does that mean i should make a story with the rating nc-17, or i can make it safe (not that safe tho, but yeah... safer)?

If the maximum rating is NC-17, you don't have to make it NC-17, no. You can make it any other rating. The maximum rating is the highest rating the prompter will read. So you can make it R or lower if you'd like!

My prompt is kairis,so i had submit one but there was a box for ship/otp,i just put kairis...was i supposed to put kris/kai ?? If i put kairis,is it acceptable??

it's fine! we manually change the ships to fit our [member's stage name]/yifan format before we put them up on the prompt sheet. you're good. :)
