have you ever listened to a song that you used to dislike to listen to whenever it's up but now you just love it or at least you don't dislike it as much as you used to? if you have, what's that song?
Idk lazy to think
Recommend 50 films to watch? And different genres eg to watch when sad, to watch when happy
Fifty? You think I so free ah.
Sounds fun haha and unconventional from a normal Singaporean childhood. Your parents must have taught you well because you seem like you work hard and don't take things for granted even though you grew up with those privileges
Nothing is forever anyway. My dad sort of wanted me to get into hospitality and take over the hotel or something like that but I didn't want to. Wasn't interested. Whatever I have now, I worked for it myself, never relied on his connections. Basically at some point in my childhood I asked myself who am I if I took away my parents and whatever I had then. So from early on I made independence a goal. That and also because my mother always told me to be humble. There was one time I came home from school, knocked on random doors in the corridor and screamed "I am the GM's Son!"When my Mother found out I kena slapped like tomorrow is the new millennium.
i see. u have a very exciting childhood! if you could turn back time, would you do it all over again?
Crazy. No. What's done is done. Move forward.
Ohh that's pretty cool. So how were your childhood days like in Sarawak?
You can say... privileged. Like legit privileged. My dad was the general manager for all four Holiday Inn's. We stayed in a hotel the whole time, had our own driver. If I wanted food I just had to call room service for anything I wanted. I studied in an international school, expat stream, so naturally you have quite a bunch of privileged kids in one room from across the world. Example I was best friends with the Sarawak Chief Minister's nephew, and we hung around at his place a few times. When I was bored i'll explore the hotel, walk around the central kitchen, go into the offices, climb here climb there go rooftop all. Was my own castle.Occasionally we'd head to the resort and spend a day at the beach, and of course natural I'll explore the coves and climb hills, cycle around and get on jet skis. And yes all free.So yeah childhood was fucking fun.
