After reading the profiles and reviewing the photos, there's really nothing wow-tastic about Genting Hotel Jurong....dun know what's the fuss? It's all really the same old same old hostel style clean lines and amenities that every other hotel has......what's your view on it.?
Hotels like these don't exist on its own. They also rely on the amenities around them.I've seen the photographs, and they all look decent for a business hotel. I'm actually quite excited with the Jurong Lake project. Singapore's riding to that direction of decentralisation away from the usual town areas. It's a good move, considering that our population is expanding. It would make no sense for the population to pile up on Orchard road. Traffic and development possibilities is an issue. Hotel Jurong is near Tuas Expressway, near the expressway to the CBD, and also situated near all the other Jurong attractions. It looks like not much now, but in the coming years, it'll be another city away from the city. They're doing the same with Yishun now, and probably even somewhere in the East. I think it's the area around Expo.Business hotels make it very convenient for those who need the facilities, such as meeting rooms or hosting overseas clients.
