Opinion on self-harm?

All i can say is it's horrible and any one that does it i feel for them. People make stupid jokes, people make horrible comments because they dont understand. The sad thing is some people seem to think selfharming is like a trend or something, it isn't. Selfharming is a way to stay alive. People who selfharm aren't suicidal, they selfharm to keep them alive, its the only thing that seems to help. Ugh, hate talking about selfharm.
Just please never start and if you do start stop before its to late. Always here for anyone. x
