kanji, or better romanized as ganji is a slang term that means "cool" or "good appearance" but it's not necessarily broadcast appropriate [it's not a BAD word or anything so sehun didn't exactly teach a bad word haha] so hyungdon was just telling lay to use a more formal term -- bonsae which means the same thing, but more it's a more formal, broadcast appropriate way to say it! hope that helped. --joanne
