sry to ask but what was your reason or excuse to do online schooling? i want too but i dont have one :(
Getting in independent studies is extremely difficult and they don't let just anyone in. I live really far from Westminster so that was my first excuse to leave the school, I included the times I almost got kidnapped while going home. I was also going through depression at that time and got a doctors note to recommend independent studies however a doctors note isn't enough to get you into independent studies unless you have cancer or something really big. I don't really recommend it if you're trying to leave school because of bullies or drama because that is after all just running away from your problems. And it is sooooo much work. Seriously a ton of homework and no one to help you with it. High school is hard but you need to face it and learn to deal with it because it's pretty much how life is like. You can't live your life locked away from people (: if you really need time take a semester off, if you really need it. But don't see it as a permanent thing because independent studies also affects you getting into college. Good luck (:

I did independent studies. Pretty much in independent studies you go to a school once a week to receive home work packets and take tests for one or two hours. For some classes there are online options but you still have to go once a week. Talk to your councilor about it (:
