I have! I've held them in my hands and while its not a groundbreaking idea(there have been solid state tubes out) I'm confident AMT will make a good job! Hopefully I'll get to try them out in the future.

Ola what is the best way to find musicians that are into our type of music? How did you find the guys in scar point and feared?

well since Feared is my own creation I just handpicked the people involved. With Scarpoint they asked me if I wanted to play with them. I guess hanging out at metal clubs and local forums is a good way of finding people into metal.

Ola, I'm from Argentina and the dolar change is that fucked up, that a recto is like 3 or 4 thousand dollars. So, the only good (in my opinion) option, for playing many styles including metal, is the ironheart from laney. what do you think of it? do you think of any better amp with that price range?

Hey Ola. I'm trying to record an amp with a cab in my bedroom. When I have to find a mic position that sounds good, it gets really tricky! It's very hard to hear the actual monitored sound coming into mic, when the amp is in the same room. Any advice on this matter?

I think the best way is just to learn the fact that you will never get the same sound as what you're hearing in the room. I like a direct straight into the speaker sound but you can also try angling the microphone different ways, try that.

Do any amplifier that you can recommend to eight-string guitars?

Definitely the upcoming Randall Thrasher or Satan. With the low frequency and high frequency gain you can really dial in that 8 string. With a lot of amps it can get muddy in the low end.

Hey ola, weird and random question(s) 1- What difference does it make to run a noise gate through the effects loop? Is it good/bad? 2- An 8ohm 2x12 should be plugged into 1x8 ohms or 2x8 ohms?

using it in the noisegate would be the best way to get rid of the preamp noise. Best case would be to have a gate before the amp AND in the loop. If the cab says 8 ohm input mono then connect it to the 1x8 ohm output on the amp

Hey Ola; My friend in Uk gonna buy a Jackson rr24 for me but i dont know if hes gonna be able to take it inside plane.If he cant and have to check in the guitar a hard case is enough or i need to buy a flight case for it.W

Hard to say, you would probably have to check it in unfortunately. Traveling with guitars is always a risk. Get a good solid case and pack it in a box.
