I know it's really bad to use box dyes... Especially on curly hair but is it bad that I dyed my curls black... It was impulsive.

As long as you don't try to bleach it or lighten it! Great question :)

How should I prepare my hair for swimming?

Never go in the pool with dry hair! The easiest thing to do is spraying a leave in conditioner or even coconut oil to dry hair so it doesn't absorb the chlorine

I want to go natural. I have no support. Kids at school tease because I haven't had a relaxer in 8 months. I'm under braids and I don't know what to do once I take the braids down.

How often should curly hair be washed?

Whenever it feels dirty. Rinsing & conditioning never hurts though. If you're using sulfate free cleanser than anytime you feel it needs it

NEVER! Just my opinion since I've seen it buildup on hair

I am a big fan of how you care for curly hair, but Im wondering if you would recommend using the curls unleashed line? I use the leave in conditioner, sulfate free shampoo and curls unleashed defining cream.

I've never tried it. Google the ingredients to make sure it's clean

Is it necessary to seal your ends with an oil?

Not in my opinion because it might create buildup unless it's a water soluble oil

You're paying for my talent, expertise and happy hair. There are plenty of great stylists out there. Find the one you are comfortable with that is in your budget.

Hai feels sticky & weighed down. You can sometimes see and/or feel the plastic coating. Heavy scents that don't go away are another indication. Greasy hair is not ideal either.
