Do you believe in using natural things to make hair grow & become thicker or just devacurl
Sure! Vitamins are great
How do I get rid of scalp buildup? Because I honestly believe it was from the Shea moisture line. Is there anyway I can completely get rid of it because my looks and feels so dry!
Try DevaCare Low Poo a couple times & avoid all silicones! I've noticed many girls have buildup from the Shea......
It's great if used properly! I think most women overuse it leaving the hair looking greasy. I prefer shine from light bouncing of healthy hair as opposed to oily hair. To each his own though.
I haven't seen it work without looking greasy & weighing down the hair. I'd love to see it look bouncy & fluffy
shea moisture doesnt cause build up.. its all natural
Every single girl that came to see me with Shea had greasy hair & it smelled sour. I'm sure it's great but I haven't seen it look good.
How did you get so interested in curly hair?
I didn't seek it, it found me! AND I LOVE IT
can a good clarifying shampoo applied monthly (or in my case every two months) prevent product buildup? I have 4b/4c fine afo textured hair, and i co wash weekly with trader joe's tingle tree line. I do love oils, but now you have me thinking about oil buildup.
You don't need clarifying if you avoid silicones, oils & Shea Butter
Would u take a look at my IG ^^ ?

I'm thinking of starting the Deva Curl line. What combination of products do you use for your clients with the most difficult to tame, long hair?
Just like a doctor prescribes medicine, I do it with products
Do you do 4c curls.
I do it all as long as you can promise to keep your hair free of silicones, oils & Shea butter
I love your Instagram, what you do is amazing! I'm wondering which deep treatment/ conditioner you give your clients? Thanks!
it's about reading the ingredients so you can avoid sulfates & silicones.
What's the healthiest way to straighten your hair?
Stretching out your curls will only make it more difficult to wear your curls the next time. You're deforming the curl pattern so besides the heat damage, you're also not encouraging them to shrink properly. Going back to the phone cord analogy.
if hair is porous, don't you need something to seal the moisture in?
Yes! Moisturizing & hydrating products that are water soluble & don't build up. Oils are good but if not used properly they can cost the hair & block conditioners from doing their job
My curls need you . Do you travel ? Do you sell your products ? Lol I have so many questions
You never know! My website has links that might answer some questions www.ShaiAmiel.com
will deva products leave buildup over time?
Never! It's water soluble
Before an appointment would you suggest for us to come in with freshly washed and dry hair with NO product OR freshly washed hair and dried hair styled the way we normally would with products?
Freshly washed & styled as curly as possible WITHOUT any oils & definitely no Shea Butter
When my hair is stretched it's about an inch or two below my collarbone, but when it dries it barely covers my ears! What are your suggestions for combatting intense shrinkage?
NEVER! If they were any good salons would retail them. Always read the ingredients & avoid sulfates + silicones
Come to Houston please! I need you!
I'd love to!
What are your thoughts on Jamaican Black Castor Oil? Do you think it makes a difference in hair?
I know women love their oils. Most of my clients try to simplify their lives with minimal product use: cleanser, conditioner & a mask. Avoid silicones & sulfates
